Steffy admired Marvin's good looks, especially when Marvin spoke seriously with his uncle. The girl continued to smile in silence, there was no sense of boredom when she noticed Marvin's handsome face.

Samuel could only sigh at Steffy's behavior, but the man realized that Marvin was uncomfortable with Steffy. Thankfully this time Steffy didn't do anything to Marvin.

After the work was done, the three immediately enjoyed some food in the restaurant. From there Steffy can see how Marvin eats, it feels nothing less at all. Although Marvin's expression was always cold, it did not diminish his admiration.

"Emm Sir there's something on your lips" Steffy immediately cleared the corner of Marvin's lips with a tissue, Marvin surprised by Steffy's presumptuous demeanor.

"Steffy!" Reproof Samuel.

"I'm just helping to clean it up, is that wrong?" Dengus Steffy's.

"I don't like it when a stranger touches me without my permission, miss" Marvin said. Samuel gulped his saliva, then pinched Steffy's arm.

"Awww uncle is sick!"

"I'm sorry!"

"I'm sorry, Mr. Marvin" Steffy regretted with a sorry look, his eyes twitching wanting to give Marvin a cute impression so that the man was crushed. But Marvin wants to get the food out of his stomach right now.

Marvin ends his meal quickly, his appetite gone after seeing Steffy's face. Marvin wants to go home soon and meet his little girl.

"Mr Marvin I want to apologize for embarrassing Brianna yesterday". Steffy began to make his point.

"I don't see the sincerity of your eyes" Marvin smiled obliquely, believing the girl before him was trying to draw his sympathies and insincere apologies.

"I'm serious Mr. Marvin, after Mr. Marvin reprimanded me yesterday I realized that my attitude was outrageous. I've hurt Brianna's heart".

"I'll forgive you if Brianna also accepts your forgiveness. So has Brianna forgiven you?"

"Have" Steffy seemed hesitant to say it. Marvin smiled cynically, then stood up from his seat.

"Other than presumptuous, you're good at lying"

Marvin doesn't care there is Samuel who incidentally is Steffy's uncle. If Marvin hates someone, he will show it openly. Fuck if after this Samuel cancels their cooperation, he doesn't care.

Marvin left the restaurant. While Samuel seemed to massage his temple suddenly dizzy.

"Ckk basic haughty guy, sucks! Look at it later I'll get you to bow your knees to me, Mr. Marvin!".

"Steffy don't fuck around!".

"Why is uncle just silent? uncle should have defended me earlier!".

"What should uncle bela? You were Steffy's fault".

"It sucks!". Steffy stomped his feet in annoyance, then left Samuel alone. Samuel shrugged his shoulders unconcerned. It's just that he talks to a unstable girl, it's just a waste of his energy.

Marvin untied his tie with the origin, he just got home. His eyes looked at the quiet atmosphere of the house. Understandably this was already at 9pm, all of his maids had already gone to the pavilion to rest.

Meanwhile, Livy Xavier has returned to Country B because the woman cannot leave her husband there for long. After all Hanna had to help manage her husband's restaurant which was now advancing.

Marvin walked towards the stairs that connect to the second floor, but at the end of the stairs Marvin heard a noise from the direction of the kitchen. His brows frowned it was impossible for any servant to still work.

Out of curiosity Marvin finally turned his steps towards the kitchen. Marvin's footsteps were so slow without making a sound. When he arrived at the kitchen doorway, Marvin could see the silhouette of a tiny body standing in front of the stove.

Marvin is no stranger to the body, who else if not his little girl. A mischievous idea popped into Marvin's head. Slowly walking closer to Brianna, Marvin had no idea what Brianna was doing at the moment. The girl was so serious she didn't notice Marvin's arrival.

Happp!

"Awwww!!"

Brianna squealed as a hand hugged her from behind. But more surprisingly, his hand was sliced by a knife because Brianna was currently slicing onions.

"Betaka!!"

"God! Anna's hand!"

Marvin freaked out instead as Brianna's fingers started to bleed. I really don't know if Brianna is holding a knife.

"Why Brother hugged me all of a sudden, what if my hand was cut off"

Brianna's eyes began to glaze over, the pain began to spread. Marvin washes Brianna's wounds quickly but her blood won't stop.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry baby" Marvin's hand shook as he held Brianna's hand, and he was in a panic. This is all clearly his fault.

Marvin stuffed Brianna's index finger into her mouth, sucked her blood to stop coming out and it worked.

After that Marvin took Brianna to sit down, then treated her wound. Brianna is seen bending her face, it seems the girl is upset at Marvin.

"Is it still sick?" Marvin asked without being able to hide his worries.

Brianna gave a small nod, the girl did not want to look at Marvin.

"Why are those nights slicing onions, do you want to cook something?" Marvin asked softly, guilt continued to envelop Marvin's heart.

"I'm hungry and want to cook fried rice"

"Why not just ask Chef?"

"They're on a break, I can't possibly bother them"

Marvin took Brianna's injured hand and kissed her gently.

"I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it. You can hit me now"

Brianna raised her face with furrowed brows. Why should I hit?

"To atone for my guilt" Marvin continued.

"So much, I'm fine"

"I won't forgive myself if I see you wretched like this. I'm sorry" Marvin pulled Brianna's body into his arms, then gave a kiss on Brianna's head.

"Stop apologizing, I'm fine" Brianna's heart warmed to see Marvin's attitude. Secretly his lips smiled then returned Marvin's embrace.

Shortly after, Marvin took off his arms. At her touch to Brianna's two cheeks gently

"You're hungry, aren't you? What if I cook fried rice for you?"

Brianna nodded in agreement, her face was no longer as moody as it had been. Marvin smiled slightly and then kissed Brianna on the forehead.

"Wait here Chef Marvin will make a delicious meal for the Princess"

Brianna laughed hearing that, her sense of regret evaporated so quickly. Marvin always managed to restore his mood.
