As James wished, Mia went back to meet the man in the kitchen. Thankfully, no other chef or waitress has come to the kitchen as it is still 10am, so they are free to chat without any distractions. While Brianna the girl was still sitting sweetly in the gazebo with some magazines in her hands.

James prepared an empty chair beside him, letting Mia sit there.

"How does it feel?" Mia asked with caution, afraid that her Dalgona Coffee would fail. James began to taste it, his face sparkling as soon as the drink touched his tongue. He looked at Mia with a look of admiration "This is so good Mia, the sweetness fits on my tongue".

"really?" His face was blushed with James' praise.

"You should try it" James scooped the coffee, then pointed it at Mia's mouth, the girl blinked at the man's behavior.

"Let's open your mouth"

Embarrassedly Mia opened her mouth accepting James' bribe. "Nake right?"

Mia nodded in agreement with James' opinion. He should be proud now that Dalgona makes him really good and the guy likes him. Mia smiled shyly.

Shortly afterwards Mia heard the man in front of her laughing.

Mia raised her face in wonder, why is James laughing? Is anything funny?

"Mia you're so funny" James cheered. A funny? What's he doing? Inner Mia was confused.

Not yet had Mia asked, Mia's body immediately stiffened when she felt James' thumb touch the corner of her lips. His heart almost fell out of place, as soon as he saw that sweet smile again.

"The cream is dirtying your lips" said James softly with a smile.

The man's expression slowly changed, James' gaze turning so intense. Instead of keeping his hands away, James was tempted to touch Mia's soft cheek. The two were silent as if hypnotized by staring at each other.

James was reluctant to put his presumptuous hand on Mia's pretty face. The man was so fascinated to see Mia's face within this close range, recording the charming look in his memory. James is very grateful to Min Soo and Marvin for accepting Mia to work in this house.

Both of them were unaware that the distance between them was further eroding. Mia slowly felt at ease with a touch of James' palm on her cheek, feeling so warm.

James looked down at Mia's lips, the object looked natural red and teased her for a kiss. James' little heart cried out to feel the plum lips in his mouth. Damnit damnit! James' common sense began to waver, let alone look at Mia's current gaze. Plain and also very beautiful. James's face slowly began to approach, further eroding the distance of their faces.

Mia is aware of what James is going to do, but instead of dodging her body responds to James' movements.

"You can be diabetic if you take it every day sir" Mia replied with a slight annoyance.

"Well you seem to be getting closer" now it's Brianna's turn to tease James and Mia, the woman's back to misbehavior.

"Well Brianna, I think I should go back to the office. Emm Mia thanks for the drink" James smiled sincerely, Mia responded with a soft nod complete with a small smile on her lips.

"Be careful!"

James chuckled at Brianna and ruffled Brianna's hair with an "I'm gone"

James walked towards the kitchen door, before he passed Mia. The man stopped his steps for a moment, holding Mia's hand that was about to head towards the sink.

"Saturday night let's go on a date" she whispered.
