Flashbacks!

"Brianna dear papaaaang!!"

"Father!!!" Little Brianna ran towards the papa who had just come home from work. Tiredness always hide his papa when they argue greeting. Brianna, who had wanted to sleep, had to wake up when she heard her father's voice.

"Why did you come home late?". Brianna sulked with her face bent, the girl looked annoyed that her father had come home late at night.

"I'm sorry papa son. papa much work. Oh, I have a gift for you"

Brianna's eyes instantly sparkled as her father took something out from inside his carrying case.

"Taraaaa the red umbrella Brianna asked for!!!"

"Whoaaa this is for me?"

"Of course, baby."

"Yeayy thank you papa!!" Brianna hugged her happy father. Although it was just a small gift, the umbrella was very memorable for Brianna.

And that umbrella was the father's last gift. One week later, his father died in a work accident.

"Hiks papa's.." Brianna could not hold back her crying anymore. In the embrace of the umbrella tightly accompanied by a small sob. Brianna really misses her dad. He misses his hugs, his kisses and his affection. It's been almost 10 years that he hasn't felt it all. It made his chest feel so tight.

"Mirin..."

Brianna looked up at Marvin standing in front of her. The man's expression looked very surprised to see Brianna crying in her study.

"You why?" Marvin stepped closer, his arms outstretched cupped onto Brianna's two cheeks that had been wet with tears. Marvin could see her lips shaking.

Marvin's gaze dropped towards the object that was being approached by Brianna. His heart was pounding, did Brianna remember?

"A..What is this thing yours?"

"Is this mine?"

Without covering anything else, Marvin gave an answer with a nod of his head. The pitch-black Hazel stared intensely at Brianna. The corner of his lips curved upwards giving the best smile to his girl.

"Why is this thing here? I've lost them a long time. Have we met before?" There were a lot of questions gathered in Brianna's mind. And the girl got an explanation from Marvin.

Marvin let out a disappointed breath, apparently Brianna hasn't remembered it yet "You want me to remind you of something?" Marvin asked and was answered by Brianna.

Marvin pulled out his chair and sat there. Her tang grabbed the tiny body to sit on her lap. Brianna was very surprised by what Marvin did. The position makes Brianna uncomfortable, the girl wants to move but Marvin holds her back.

"Let it be like this" Marvin's gaze seemed to hypnotize Brianna, the girl immediately silent without a twist and returned to being a cute girl who was obedient. Brianna gulped her saliva nervously as Marvin's breath touched her cheek. Even the man's burly hand was already curled sweetly around his waist.

Marvin's fingers actively removed the strands of hair blocking her pretty face, slipping them behind Brianna's ears carefully.

"Have you forgotten what happened 8 years ago?" Brianna fell silent, trying to gather her memories.

"A man had an accident and almost died in the hills"

The deg!!

A shadow slowly appeared in his memory. Not very clear indeed, but Brianna felt he had experienced it.

"When it was raining so hard, you came to the man's aid with your red umbrella"

The more Marvin tells the story, the clearer his memory becomes. Brianna completely forgot about the incident and it turned out that it was very memorable for Marvin.

"So, the man I helped back then was big brother?"

Brianna blinked between surprised and confused. Marvin smiled in order.

" Yes, that man is me" she whispered softly. His lips swept Brianna's white cheeks with a small kiss making Brianna's body stiffen over Marvin's lap.
