New Friends

Brianna walked following Natasha's graceful-looking footsteps. They're currently heading to Brianna's new class. The girl occasionally turned her head towards Marvin who was walking behind her. The man was still faithful to his side, like a father who was dropping off his daughter on the first day of school.

"Are you nervous?" Marvin whispers after they stop at the classroom door. Natasha came in first. Brianna waited for the woman's warning to be called.

"Will they accept me?" Brianna turned to face Marvin, an agitated look clearly on her beautiful face.

Even Marvin could see there was a whirlpool of sweat on his girl's temple.

"Why not? You're a good girl, smart and beautiful. I think they'll like you"

"really?" Brianna asked a little red hue on both cheeks hearing the praise from Marvin.

The man chuckled furiously, rubbing Brianna's sweat with the back of his hand.

"Don't be nervous, try to be confident. Don't think about bad things, it's your first day of school. Impress them" Brianna nodded obediently, her sweet smile returning after hearing Marvin's encouraging words.

"Brianna, come in" Natasha opens the classroom door, allowing Brianna to introduce herself to her new friends.

"Spirit!"

That's the last word Brianna heard from Marvin's mouth. The man did not come in and chose to monitor Brianna from outside the window

Clapping rang out after Brianna introduced herself, not much the girl had said about her. He was too nervous to stand in front of so many people. All pairs of eyes were fixed on him, so that the sentence he had last night strung suddenly disappeared from his mind.

"Brianna, you can sit with Nina" Natasha pointed to a girl in thick glasses who was sitting at the very back, only that chair was left. So inevitably Brianna had to sit there, and the girl didn't mind at all.

Brianna smiled kindly at Nina, the glasses girl looked shy from the gesture, Nina tended to be a stiff and closed girl. The girl returned Brianna's smile awkwardly, just a glance because after that Nina focused on reading the thick book in her hands.

Brianna put her bag next to Nina's chair, then tried to greet Nina.

"My name is Brianna Carissa" Brianna reached out her hand. Nina did not immediately respond, the girl looked at Brianna's palm for a moment, then looked at Brianna's face for a while.

"Hai my name is Nina" he said slowly, then shook Brianna's hand.

"It's nice to meet you"

"Yes.."

"From now on we are friends"

Brianna's words managed to make Nina surprised, there is a spotlight of disbelief behind the thick glasses. Brianna is the first person to make friends, while others seem reluctant.

"Friends?"

"Yes, friend, do you mind?" Ask Brianna doubtfully.

The atmosphere of the canteen looks so crowded today, the break time has just begun. The students began flocking to go for food to fill their stomachs. Just like Brianna and Nina, they were currently walking towards the cafeteria.

Brianna looked excited, her mouth was continuously babbling expressing her joy. Nina smiled more and spoke less.

"Nina, after eating can you accompany me around. I want to see this school environment"

"Sure Brianna, I will accompany you" he replied happily. Brianna is a cheerful figure, the girl is very kind and also friendly. Nina feels comfortable being friends with Brianna.

"Hi Brianna"

The girl's second move came to a halt when someone called Brianna. 3 Girls approached them both. Brianna knew the girls were her classmates, but she had not yet gotten acquainted.

But no matter what happens, Nina suddenly hides behind Brianna's back, looking like fear.

"Nina why are you?"

"We better go" he whispered slowly.

"Why?"

"Hallo Brianna" an ideal tall girl greets him. Her face looks beautiful with long wavy hair.

"We haven't met yet. Introduce my name Steffy" The beautiful girl named Steffy stretched out her hand.

"Hi's happy to meet you" Brianna replied with a friendly smile, the other two girls also introduced themselves. They are Elsa and Jessi.

Steffy piqued at Nina who was still standing behind Brianna's back.

"Brianna are you friends with him?" Steffy asked with a small smile. As well as Elsa and Jessi, the three of them seem to dislike seeing Nina.

"We are friends, why?"

"From the fact that you're friends with him, you better join us."

Steffy suddenly pulls Brianna by the hand, leading her to the cafeteria leaving Nina alone.

"Mashed Potato in this school cafeteria is so delicious you should try it" Elsa grabbed Brianna's shoulder, drawing the girl's attention from Nina.

"But, can we get Nina?" Pinta Brianna looked back occasionally. Nina was still in her place, there was a disappointed look there made Brianna feel bad.

He did not understand why Steffy did not invite Nina, was their relationship not good?
