James and Mia

Mia stared at the piece of paper containing some groceries in her hand. Emily had just told him to go shopping for the kitchen pavilion.

Back when Brianna was a waitress, Mia used to take the girl shopping. With Brianna, Mia so have a chat friend and of course Brianna become not bored continue to stay at home. But now that she can't do that anymore, Brianna is already his Master's wife and now the girl is away on her honeymoon. Mia is lonely now.

The sound of the car horn shocked Mia, she was currently walking towards the main gate. An Audi silver car approached him and Mia knew who the owner of the car was. Mia stopped her steps for a moment and the car stopped on her side.

"Where are you going?" Ask the car owner while lowering the windshield. Mia immediately bowed her body, suddenly feeling nervous when the car owner asked. The owner of the car was James

"I'll go to the Supermarket Master" Mia replied with a small smile.

"Get it"

"A.what?"

"It just so happens that I also want to buy something there as well as go to the office. So we better go together"

Mia gulps her saliva, this is the first time James has offered Mia a ride in his car. James has always been so clumsy and hardly ever talked to him. But this time surprisingly the man took to the supermarket together.

"Hurry up, no need to hesitate" James got out of his car and opened the door for Mia. The girl nodded in disbelief.

"God! Mr. James opened the door for me!"

Finally, embarrassed Mia entered the car, James secretly smiled happily his invitation received. Okay this is the first step to getting close to Mia. From the beginning Mia worked at Marvin's house, James was already interested in the girl. But the man did not dare to approach her. Finally, he just admired her secretly.

James and Mia entered the supermarket simultaneously. James took a trolley and so did Mia. But James quickly saves his Trolley and takes over Mia's Trolley.

"It would be easier if our groceries were combined, after all I only bought a few things" James said with a smile on his lips. Mia blinked for a moment, her heart suddenly pounding as soon as she saw the handsome smile of the man. This was the first time Mia had seen James smile at her, her face suddenly heating up.

As they began to walk in search of their needs, James followed Mia wherever she stepped while pushing a trolley like a husband who was accompanying his wife shopping.

"Sir, let me take it" Mia felt bad that James brought her a full trolley. But the man quickly refused.

"It's okay, you just focus on finding your needs"

"Master doesn't want to go to work? You can be late, I can do it myself"

"Good God, this time he laughed. Mr. James really looks different than I used to see"

"Alright sir, thank you for your help" Mia said sincerely.

"You want to buy meat? There seems to be a promo there. Let's go over there"

James was visibly excited, quickly pushing his trolley and approaching women in their 40s promoting quality beef.

The woman seemed happy to see a customer approaching her. With straightforwardness the woman gives the best offer to attract the attention of her customers.

"Mr and Madam can try it first" The woman grilled some small pieces of meat for James and Mia to taste.

James began to taste it as soon as the meat was cooked. While Mia just stayed beside the man to notice how James reacted once she ate it.

"Madamie let's try" the woman smiled kindly and offered a few pieces of meat. Mia took her eyes off James' face and began to taste him.

"Sir, your wife is so beautiful" the woman suddenly said. James and Mia immediately choked on hearing the woman's words.

"Sorry mom, I'm not his wife" Mia explained.

"really? I thought you were a couple. You guys look good"

Mia and James' faces instantly heated up and the atmosphere became awkward. James rubbed his nape in embarrassment, while stealing a glance towards Mia.

"Ekhmm, do we really look compatible?" James asked now. The woman smiled while nodding small.

"Yes, beautiful and also handsome. Hope you guys get married soon" looks like the woman thinks Mia and James are lovers.

Mia was surprised. Mia wanted to explain back but her intentions came to a halt when James returned to speaking.

"Thank you, then we'll buy the meat".

James glanced at Mia who was looking at him with a surprised look, yes the girl was surprised as James responded to the middle-aged woman's remark. As if confirming that they have a special relationship.
