Early in the morning Marvin asked Emily to meet him. This is Brianna's problem, since Brianna's appearance in the house, Marvin's attitude does look different. Emily felt that way when she saw how Marvin looked at the girl and treated her in an unusual way.

It's been almost 30 years that Emily has served Xavier's family, so it's certain she knows very well what Marvin's habits are.

"Can I help you, sir?"

"I want to talk about something very important, it's about Brianna"

"What's wrong with Brianna sir? Did that girl cause any more trouble?" Emily asked, considering that Brianna had acted in the afternoon with her actions up the tree, to make her master fell over Brianna's body due to helping the girl.

"I want to raise him as my personal servant"

"What?? Are you sure?"

"Yes very very sure" replied Marvin steadily without hesitation.

"But sir, Brianna's only been working a few days. Isn't this unfair to the other servants?".

"I'm the master of this house, so I have every right to do anything, including making Brianna my personal servant"

Emily nodded in understanding, if it had been like this Emily did not dare to ask any more questions. Although there are many things Emily wants to ask, but she seems to have to undo it.

"One more thing, don't let Brianna do any other work, other than take care of my needs. He's my responsibility from now on"

"Okay, my Master understands"

"If any waiter protests, report to me immediately"

Emily nodded in understanding, the woman felt that there was a possessive tone in every word of Marvin.

Is Marvin really interested in Brianna?

But is it that fast? Considering this is the first time they've met. Questions piled up in Emily's head. The woman doesn't know that Brianna was the one who helped Marvin when the man was in an accident.

"Is there anything you want to ask?"

"No sir, then excuse me. I had to tell the servants about this, and give them understanding there might be one of them who did not accept it"

"I trust you all, and make sure no one hurts Brianna after this"

"Okay sir, I won't let that happen. Then excuse me"

Marvin's smile expands as soon as the car he's riding in has reached his yard. Marvin could see in front of the main door, there was Brianna standing waiting for him.

Brianna was really doing her job well, Brianna immediately asked Marvin for permission to bring her briefcase once she got to the girl.

If you notice Brianna looks like a wife who welcomes her husband, the difference is that there is no sweet kiss that Marvin receives and maybe one day Marvin will make it happen.

"Sir wants to take a shower or dinner?" Brianna asked as she walked beside Marvin.

"Just take a shower, please put the bag in my study"

"Good Sir"

Brianna put Marvin's briefcase on the table, then he walked up to the row of books lined up neatly on the shelf. Most of the books contain business stuff, and Brianna doesn't understand that. The book is very thick and seems very boring when read.

Brianna is not a nerdy girl, but she often went to the library when she was in school, it was just to read comics or novels. Brianna only read textbooks at certain times, such as when she was about to face the exam.

After paying attention for quite a long time, there is finally one book that attracts the attention of Brianna, in the corner of the closet there are several comics lined up, namely detective conan comics with several series. Is Marvin one of Conan's detective lovers?

When Marvin was in high school, the man liked the comic. Marvin often bought the comic and collected it until he was not aware it had collected enough.

Brianna picked up the comic and opened it up sheet by sheet. If it is related to the comic then the girl will forget the place and time, she can read it for hours until her eyes dry.

Brianna sat on one of the couches there, focusing on reading the comic. The girl was already drifting in her world until she was unaware of Marvin's presence.

Marvin smiles to see Brianna still in his study, the girl looks cool with the comic without moving a bit.

"Ekhnmm"

Marvin sat next to Brianna making the girl gasp. Brianna immediately closed the comic and looked at Marvin in fear.

Oh my goodness he was caught red-handed.

"Tu. mister I'm sorry..."

"Continue reading it"

"I'm going to return the book, sorry if I sassy Mr" Brianna wanted to put the book back on the shelf but Marvin held his hand.

"You can read it Brianna Carissa, after all it's just a comic. You can read it as you please"

Brianna blinked, she thought Marvin would get angry. But what he got was a genuine smile from Marvin.

"Can I really read it?"

"Sure, you can read all the books here"

"Thank you so much, sir" said Brianna happily, his face looks bright, making Marvin can't bear to not mess up his girl's hair.

At 11 p.m., Marvin stretched his stiff muscles after nearly 4 hours of sitting down to work on his office duties that had been delayed. He is currently awake in his study, accompanied by a laptop that he just turned off.

His gaze was now fixed on a girl who was sound asleep on the sofa. Her tiny body looks curled up like a fetus. Marvin realized that Brianna was still in his room, the girl fell asleep while reading the comic and now the comic was lying on the floor.

Marvin approaches Brianna with slow steps, afraid to wake her girl up. Marvin bowed his body looking at Brianna, the corner of his lips again curled upwards at how sweet Brianna was while sleeping like this.

His face was so plain with red cheeks. Marvin's outstretched hand rubbed Brianna's head gently without bothering Brianna in the slightest.

"You look so pretty when you sleep like this baby" she whispered softly. Marvin slowly brought his face closer and kissed Brianna's forehead full of affection.

The sofa is not good to be used as a bed, Brianna's body can hurt the next day if the girl sleeps too long on the sofa. Finally Marvin chose to take Brianna to his room. With great care he led Brianna into his carrier.

Brianna was not disturbed at all, the girl buried her face in the chest of Marvin's field, looking for comfort there.

Marvin chuckled at her, his heart pounding as Brianna's head leaned against his chest. Maybe if Brianna was conscious, the girl could hear her heartbeat.

Marvin manages to take Brianna to her room, then puts Brianna's body on her king-size bed. Once again Marvin kisses Brianna's forehead dear, but this time it's longer than ever.

The corner of his lips returned a smile, in his heart Marvin wished he could see this innocent face every day.

"Good night sweetheart"
