Alex Meet Lila

Inside a restaurant near the company, Nilam sat down with Lila and Alex. He never intended to bring his two best friends together. But he never chose it even he did not expect it to happen on a day he could not predict at all.

"I think we should make our order. Do you guys think that?" Nilam said in hopes of changing the awkward situation and the pressure he felt to separate his two best friends.

"Yes right, we do have to because we're going back to the office soon." Alex said casually which actually made Nilam feel surprised.

In the past, Alex always ended up arguing with Lila who always chose to calm down.

"It's been so long Alex, and you've changed so much. I never thought I'd see you with Nilam." Lila.

"Yes, Nilam and I are good friends, just like in the past." Reply Alex.

"Good friend?" Lila said calmly, then she resumed her words. "Yes glad to know that. Then welcome to Alex

I hope we can both be good friends for Nilam's sake."

"Of course, I won't fall again and disappear again because I have the desire to show the face of someone who is two-faced." Said Alex.

"Alex it's been a long time, do you still see me as an enemy?" Lila looked upset.

"Oh my dear Lila, I just mentioned to show a woman's face*****double-faced. Why are you so nervous and angry. I didn't mention anyone's name at all. Does that mean you already know who I'm talking about?" Say Alex again.

"Ti's... No. gabe. How could that have happened. That's not what I meant." Lila this time looked nervous.

"So what do you mean, dear Lila?" Said Alex.

"I'm just trying to fix the thing that's going on between the two of us because it wouldn't be good for us, if we always had a misunderstanding. I only thought of Nilam's kindness. You've been away for so long, so you don't know what she's been through for years." Lila.

"Relax Lila, Nilam told me everything." Said Alex.

"What's? Patchouli you....." Lila said so looking surprised.

Alex has an opinion in him that he has seen the hidden identity of the expression on Lila's face that he is showing at the moment.

"What's with your suddenly changed expression? Do you think Nilam made a bad choice by telling me all that stuff?" Said Alex.

"Of course not. I'm just worried about Nilam. You know what the situation is right now that's hard enough for him. I mean, you've been away from her for so long." Say Lila again.

"So you're saying I'm a stranger and Nilam shouldn't have told me all the trouble?" Said Alex.

"No...." Lila.

But Alex interrupts Lila's remarks with her pulling her chair back and looking towards the watch in her hand.

"My time is up. I have to go Nilam." Said Alex.

"But we haven't even eaten yet." Reply Nilam.

"I lost my appetite." Said Alex.

"Alexes..." Lila said, but it was stopped again as Alex continued.

"I promise you that I'll be nice when we're with her. But I also said that I wouldn't force myself to be friends with him and you've agreed with me." Alex told Nilam.

Nilam had to admit that he agreed with what Alex said. But he also hopes that Lila and Alex can be good friends and he doesn't have to feel like separating the two of them. Everything seems to not end with what he expected and Alex leaves Nilam with Lila again.

"I'm sorry Nilam." Lila apologized as soon as Alex left them at the table.

"No, you shouldn't apologize. It's my fault for not telling you sooner." Nilam felt guilty.

"It's been a long time. But it looks like Alex still hates me. I don't know why he hates me so much. But I will try my best so that we can be called as three good friends." Lila.

"Sure, I'm also looking forward to the day coming." Nilam.

Just like in the past, Nilam had always hoped that they could become three good friends. But with what just happened today, Nilam felt that he needed a lot of struggle that he might have to do. However, he still could not understand why Alex had always been so bad towards Lila.

All of his attitude began with some accidents that Nilam experienced during the school days that were always unknown to Nilam, who was the real culprit. But Alex always blames Lila for it, even though there is no evidence to suggest that Lila was guilty.

"Nilam, what are you thinking?" Lila asked as she held Nilam's hand gently.

"I'm just thinking about the past. You know full well that Alex has always been bad for you. Please don't blame him. I just thought that he was too worried and felt unsure of everything." Nilam.

"...."

"His parents abandoned him when he was a child. He is betrayed by his close friend and also his Om. So it was all too hard for him to believe anything." Nilam.

"Is that the reason until you tell him about yourself and Aldi?" Lila interrupted Nilam's words.

But the expression on Lila's face did not show like someone who was worried. The expression shown was more like an angry and disappointed feeling.

"Lila, sorry. I didn't tell you earlier did you think I was doing the wrong thing?" Ask Nilam.

"No I'm just. I'm only worried about you if a lot of people find out about it, then your sister...."

"Calm Lila. My wicked aunt and her family didn't bother me anymore for a long time now. Although I don't know where my sister is. I'm sure that he's fine as long as I keep your relationship with Mr. Erfandi." Nilam.

"I see, then what about your relationship with Aldi?" Ask Lila.

"Al's.... Aldi I'm actually..."

Nilam suddenly stopped his remarks as they began to talk about his relationship with Aldi. She did not know if it was a good idea for her to tell Lila everything that she had met Aldi for now. He can't tell anyone not even to Alex until things can finally stabilize.

"Actually just like in the past, you know that Aldi is now my stepson." Reply Nilam and he did hide the truth from Lila.

"It's too late Lila. I have to get back to the office. We'll meet up next time and you'll tell me about how the trip you've been on." Nilam.

"Of course." Reply Lila, with a warm smile that instantly disappeared quickly as Nilam walked out of the restaurant.

Lila pulled the phone out of her bag and called a number and waited for an answer to the call.

"Didn't I tell you to keep an eye on him? How did he get to Alex? Do you know who Alex is?" Lila.

"Meet me in the usual place. Let's make things clearer." Say Lila Again.

Tut's.... Tut's... Tut's...

Lila immediately hung up the phone without giving the person across the phone a chance to say anything else. He put his phone back in his bag and walked out of the restaurant.

"Bas stupid." Lila.

Seriate....
