The Lizard slowly walked up to Lily and tried to touch Lily's forehead with his fingers. Lily threw out Lizard's hand and moved to the bed.
"I'll accompany you to the hospital tomorrow"
"Not necessary"
"Then if you're really pregnant, what's your move?"
"Do you want this kid?" ask Lily coldly.
"I'm not ready to be a father yet"
Lizard's answer had Lily's heart broken into pieces.
"You're just ready to do it but not ready for the responsibility?" lily nodded with a laugh.
"Lily, I'm confused but I want the kid, please don't you fuck the fetus in your stomach"
"If her father was still worried why would I have to keep her?"
Lizard closed his eyes furiously, he tried to patiently face Lily.
"I don't want to argue so my decision tomorrow I'll take you to the hospital to make sure you're really pregnant"
"No need, I can confirm myself if I'm pregnant"
"Then preserve your pregnancy"
"I will defend as long as you also meet the conditions I have applied for"
"What conditions?"
"I want to get back to work, tell your sister to clear my name of all the charges, as long as I'm pregnant I want to be free anywhere.I don't want to be locked up"

Lizard fell silent he approached Lily and rubbed Lily's hair gently.
"What if I was a good father you wouldn't leave me?"

Since the morning Lizard has been going to the VC hospital without being accompanied by his assistant. He wants to see Eric to discuss Lily's case.
"I want you to clear Lily's name in front of the press. Timoti will arrange everything so you just have to talk" Lizard told his sister.
"What do you mean I have to do all that? I apologized to Lily and let her go back to work at VC hospital isn't that enough?!"
Lizard pulled Eric's collar with one hand.
"You are my sister because I forgive you, I ask you one last time and you kindly tell the media the truth if my wife is innocent. You're the one who defamed him!"
"If I don't do it, what can you do?" challenge Eric.
"I can eliminate you" replied the Lizard casually but with a sharp glare in Eric's eyes.
Eric knows the Lizard never messes with his words.
That afternoon Eric met the media crowd in the hospital meeting room. The camera lights pointed at him, all silent waiting for his statement. Timoti watches him from the corner of the room, intimidating Eric into not throwing a tantrum back.
"Doctor Lily Van Camont is innocent. And from today the case is closed because there is no proven error in handling the patient"
"Then what is the condition of the patient?" ask a reporter.
"The patient is currently in good condition and has been returned to his home for recovery while we monitor his condition"
"Where's doctor Lily why don't you take part in this press conference?"
"Doctor Lily is in need of time to prepare because the day after tomorrow she will practice again in VC hospital"
"Is there any compulsion to acknowledge all these statements?" ask a reporter.
"Is Mr. Lizard Van Camont your brother who intimidated you into clearing his wife's good name?"
"No, Mr. Lizard did not interfere in this matter. Okay thank you"
Eric walked away from the media crowd and returned to his study.
He was half dead to his brother.

While Eric is busy with his clarification Lizard is busy to the mother and daughter room of the VC hospital. He looked at the incubators of newborn babies.
Lizard also went to see the nurse who had just finished taking care of the newborn baby.
"Hey the baby is crying!" lizard said to a nurse who was changing baby diapers.
"It's okay, sir, it's a good reflex for a newborn"
"really?"
After the nurse put a change of clothes on the baby, she handed it to Lizard.
"You want to carry it?"
"But I can't carry.I..."
The nurse gave the baby in Lizard's arms something amazing and moved Lizard's heart to see the tiny baby in her arms. She imagined it was her baby and Lily.
"Please follow me sir, put the baby here" the nurse headed to a room where there was a baby lined up in a small bed.
"Why not give this baby to his mother? where's mom?"
"The mother went home first, sir"
"Why could that be? are there any health problems with this baby?"
"No master but administrative matters, for those who have not been able to pay the hospital fees then the baby will be temporarily detained here"
"Rules where is that?! who makes such a rule?"
"Head of VC hospital"
"You mean Eric?"
"It was Frederic Van Camont who imposed the rule"
"Basic jerk! quickly you call all the parents of these babies my assistant will take care of all the payments"
"really sir? all right then" Sister looks happy and takes the tiny baby in Lizard's sling and puts it on the crib.

Lizard went home to see Lily who was in the room all day.he had been nauseous since this morning.
"Lilly...." Lizard is waiting for Lily in front of the bathroom.
"Go I'm fine"
"Open the door or I'll break it!"
Lily opened the bathroom door with a pale face.
"Look at you you don't have your face turned pale! let's go to the hospital"
"No need this is a common thing experienced by pregnant women. I just want to sleep"

Lizard helps to arrange the pillow so that Lily is comfortable while lying down.

"I want you out of my room"
The Lizard shook his head but he complied with Lily's request and rushed out of the room.
