The Part 125
Flashbacks...
That afternoon at Grace's VC hospital he met Eric in his practice room and offered a mutually beneficial partnership to Eric.
"You're going to get that woman of yours and I'm going to get the Lizard" Grace said.
"Don't bother Lizard and Lily, they're happy anyway why don't you just let go of being stiff with a woman better than you" Eric replied.
"Are you giving up Lily? sure you don't like it anymore?" grace asked with a sly smile.
Eric recalls his first meeting with Lily a dozen years ago when they were still in high school. Eric was different from the school with Lily but that morning was not accidentally Eric who messed with the sports car he was driving had nudged Lily who was about to cross the road.
The girl fell down and cried. Eric immediately got out of the car and approached the girl in uniform, hair in braids and glasses minus it.
"You okay?" eric asked as he looked at the girl's injured knee.
"Don't you see I'm hurt?"
"I'm sorry, I'm taking you to the hospital, my dad's a doctor" Eric said.
" No need!" the girl got up and walked a little limp.
"Hey what's your name?!"
"Lilly!"
Eric smiled since that time he liked Lily since the first time he met Lily near his school first. Every day Eric waited for Lily to come home from school. He only looked from a distance while harboring his feelings for Lily.
After graduating high school, long time no news from Lily and Eric busy with his chaotic life.
One morning Rud gathered his three children at the dinner table and announced that Lizard would be in a match with a girl who works as a doctor.
Eric is cute and doesn't care who Lizard is getting married anyway it's none of his business.
Presumably Eric was mistaken, his hopes were only empty because the girl who would become the future wife of Lizard was indeed the Lily he knew. Eric stared at the photograph papa put on the table. Papa told the three of us to recognize the girl in the photo.
"It's Lizard's future wife, isn't it?" so said papa.
On his brother's wedding day, Eric was frozen looking at the bride who looked very beautiful in her long white dress.
Eric still remembers Lily's face that used to be completely unchanged, still cute and a little jutek.
Why did papa match him to the Lizard?! why not just with me?!
Lizard's wedding show was so quick, Eric couldn't afford to do anything just to thwart Eric's plans no chance.
Now that he sees Lily happy with Lizard. in say let go, Eric himself does not know whether he has given Lily to Lizard or not.
Even until this second Lily never knew Eric's feelings for her, Lily had no idea one of the reasons for her cold war with the Lizard was because of Lily.
Returning to Grace's offer earlier, Eric immediately rejected Samma's work.
"Grace don't bother them" Eric said
"But you know it's not if the Lizard just loves me?!"
Eric stood up from his seat and put his hands in his pants pocket.
"Lizard used to love you but now I'm not sure if your name is still in the corner of his heart" Eric smiled bitterly remembering how Lizard loved Lily.
"You're wrong Eric, I'm gonna win anyway.You know I was once pregnant with Lizard's son"
Eric froze looking at Grace with a look of disbelief.
"When I was pregnant and looking for Lizard to your parents' house, you asked me to leave because Lizard was married to another woman.You guys were selfish and mean! if I can't have Lizard at least his son can have his father!"
