The Part 10

Lily informs Rud's doctor that Lizard has the virus.

Timoti was given injections of drugs to ward off the virus that entered his body. Because so far the team has not reacted.

"Lizards..." Lily called the Lizard's name because she saw that the man had begun to wake up after being given medicine by Dr. Rud.

"Meri.." said Lizard.

"Meri? why are you calling Meri? What's the matter Lizard?" Lily started to panic.

"I went to see Meri before I contracted this damn virus"

"Lizard this is dangerous!"

Lily rushes off and tells Dr. Rud if Meri is most likely infected by Lizard.

All of the panic included the doctors and hospital attendants of Van Camont.

If the D2K virus hits Lizard or Timoti, Lily believes their immune system is good and won't be too dangerous. But if it hits the Meri it will be another result that is caused.

Meri was soon in isolation and was treated by an authorized doctor including her own father, Dr. Rud.

Meri's condition can already be guessed if he will be infected more severely than Lizard.

The red spots on Meri's skin were flattened and almost blistered while she was short of breath and coughing.

"Lily how's Meri? How's sister?" Lizard pulled out the infusion in his hand and got out of his treatment bed.

"You can't go anywhere with Lizard before the doctors make sure your lab results are safe" said Lily, who was wearing safety gear.

"If anything happens to this Meri it's my fault!"

"Call Lizard, you love Meri so much, don't you? So you get well soon and support Meri to heal too"

"How's Tim?"

"He's fine there hasn't been any trouble so far. I isolated it in your house"

"I want to talk to Tim"

Lily hands the phone to Lizard.

"You didn't save Tim's phone number?"

"What am I keeping it for? he's your assistant not my assistant"

Lizard has been lazy to serve Lily he worries Meri and Tim.

"Hello Tim, how are you?"

"I'm fine sir"

"What the fuck are you doing?"

"He died by himself, sir, and we burned him so as not to spread the virus everywhere"

"What about the other members,?"

"Doctor Lily gave us an injection so we're fine, sir"

"Good"

Lizard handed Lily's phone and she lay agitated.

"Where's my shirt?" Lizard left a cigarette in his pocket.

"In laundry..."

"I want a cigarette"

"Can't! Cigarettes will aggravate your breathing condition Lizard!"

Lily walked almost out of Lizard's ward. The man held Lily's arm.

"Please save my sister, I'll owe you a favor" Lizard said without looking at Lily as her eyes glazed over.

Lily just fell silent and walked away.

Doctor Rud had warned the Lizard to stay away from the Meri. The two of them seemed to be clashing in doctor Rud's study.

Lily could hardly resist breaking up the father and son debate. Not finished the chaos that occurred, Eric came following to the hospital.

"How's Meri doing?" Eric asked while glancing at Lizard.

"Your sister's still in treatment you don't bother her"

"I just want to see Meri pa, after all what's causing Meri to be in danger is the Lizard not me why is papa mad at me?"

Lizard clenched his hands in seconds he could have crushed Eric's face. Lily immediately pulled Lizard's arm out of Dr. Rud's study.

"Control yourself, your sister is still being treated. No need to be hooked with Eric"

Lizard did not respond to Lily's words, he walked out of the hospital while taking out a cigarette.

Lily kept nagging her about banning him from smoking ever since he was exposed to the virus that he thought was the damn virus.

Lizard walks towards a cafe located not far from the hospital.

"You're well, sir?" The team approached Lizard who was sitting in the cafe enjoying a cup of coffee and cigarettes.

"How was the job during my stay?"

"Controllable sir, there's just a little problem"

"What's wrong?"

Nicolas Lily's doctor friend turns out to be the city's police chief. He and his friend, who is also a police officer, want to interfere in our mining business.

"So that guy's a police chief?"

"That's right, sir"

"I don't care who dares to bother me he has to accept the consequences from me!"

"You want me how is mister?"

"Take those cops to our base, as usual I want you to take them out if you can't compromise"

"Good sir"

"Wait Tim! Don't let Lily know about this"

Tim nodded and drove off in his car. Lizard is still in the cafe.

"Lily I warned you that Lizard Van Camont is a very dangerous man!" nicolas said that afternoon he picked Lily up from the hospital.

"Yes I know"

"No Lily you don't really know. Lizard kidnapped my friend"

"Lizard kidnapped your friend? That can't be Nic"

"Trust me he actually kidnapped my friend who was a cop. If you don't believe, just look at it yourself. In the house was a large basement. I'm sure you don't know what Lizard and his men did in that basement"

"The basement?" Lily never explored the Lizard House. He only knew about the room but had no interest in seeing it.

"Listen to Lily I need your help to free my partner"

"But how?"

"I want to see if my friend is alive or if Lizard has finished him off"

"You mean I have to go to that room and make sure your friend is alive or not? then what if I'm the one that's been wiped out?"

"that's not gonna happen to Lily, you're her wife she's not gonna have the heart on you"

Nic if you knew the truth if this wedding was just a Lizard game.

"Let's Nic I can't promise to help you"

"I'm asking you for help to be sure and see for yourself what your husband is like, so if you choose to leave him that's something you won't have to regret later"

Nic I'm leaving but waiting for my deal with the Lizard to be done. You won't understand, the bad guy binds me to a legal agreement. If I break it I could be sanctioned.
