The sunlight enters through the window of the room. The sound of a bird rang out from the outside, it was a sound so bad that it woke Yu Jian up from his sleep as if he had just had a nightmare.

As Yu Jian held onto his big ear the fox seemed to wake up from his sleep and the two looked at each other. There were sharp brownish-caramel eyes on the fox. After looking at it for a while the fox woke up from Yu Jian's chest while stretching his body then descended.
Yu Jian tidied up his bed while stretching his exhausted body. After a few days he finally had a decent sleep. Not sleeping while leaning against a tree, on a hard mattress, or even in a mosquito-filled environment. After Yu Jian made the bed and changed his clothes the fox seemed to be waiting for Yu Jian in front of his room. The moment the fox saw Yu Jian he started acting as if he was about to invite Yu Jian to follow him. So Yu Jian decided to follow the fox. On the way with the fox Yu Jian saw the condition of the small house, it was even smaller than the house of master Zhang. There were only two doorways and one main hall overnight so that both Yu Jian and Yi Wei decided to rest so Yu Jian had yet to see the surroundings.
“Place Yi Wei... looks very minimalist yes?” yu Jian said to himself.
There was not much furniture in the place because Yi Wei himself said that he was rarely in his residence and chose to research in the warehouse behind the house. In addition to having a little furniture, it was also filled with dust because it was rarely used by Yi Wei. Yu Jian decided to clean up the dust.

Her hair seemed to be unraveling covering part of her face. Just thinking about it made Yu Jian palpitate, it had been a few days since he had spent time with Yi Wei but had yet to figure out his true face. But Yu Jian decided to get out of the place.
“I don't know if he hid it or not, but if Yi Wei did intend to show it then let him show it to me directly.” Yu Jian said slowly.
Just as he was about to move from that place Yu Jian's steps were stopped by someone's existence. The man whose height was slightly below Yu Jian with long black hair was tied with white clothes and a blue cloth tied around his waist.
“Who are you?” asked the man while trying to grab his sword.
“I Yu Jian, friend of Yi Wei.” reply Yu Jian nervously.
“Yu Jian? I don't remember Yi Wei ever having a friend named Yu Jian, especially I never found a man who was as scented as Yi Wei.” this time the man drew his sword steadily as if he had intended to kill Yu Jian right then and there.
“A-Aroma?” Yu Jian was confused.
Yu Jian took a step back from that person. He felt an aura of hostility that was so intense, even Yu Jian who had not practiced martial arts for a long time could feel the killing aura that person directed at him.
“True, I am very familiar with the scent emitted by Yi Wei. Right now you have the same scent as her, what did you do to Yi Wei!” his yell.
Shit there's something wrong with this guy. A smell? He memorized the smell of a woman? I didn't expect there would be anyone like this in the Azure sect!
A slash floated close to Yu Jian, an extremely fast slash and Yu Jian looked at it with his eyes. But his body was unable to react fully despite successfully seeing the attack. The slash hit Yu Jian's chest, though not deep as Yu Jian managed to minimize the damage given by doing a backward jump.
Blood flowed and made the blue-colored shirt that Yu Jian brought from the house mix with the red color. The landing of Yu Jian while jumping backwards was not smooth and he fell to the ground.
“Sials. Yi WEI!” Shouted Yu Jian.
“Hmph... Calling a woman to save you? Really disappointing.”
The door opened violently and Yi Wei looked out with the condition that she had used her white mask. Despite the emergency, he did not forget to wear a mask.
“Yu Jian! What's the matter?” Yi Wei ran frantically towards Yu Jian.
“I'm just trying to take care of an intruder to this place.” replied the strange person who memorized the scent of Yi Wei.
“Li Yating? Yu Jian is not an intruder, he is my guest. If you're only here to find trouble then just leave this place.” While saying that Yi Wei took out something from behind her clothes and gave it to Yu Jian.
“I'm not that fragile so you need to worry. Go back to your place before I expel you with poison.”
“Tch”
After that Li Yating left, he gave a sharp look towards Yu Jian. Yu Jian also understood that his affairs with Li Yanting were not finished here. Li Yanting left, he moved quite quickly which meant that he was already in top-tier martial training. Yi Wei immediately helped Yu Jian to get up and brought him inside the house and treated him.
Yi Wei slowly covered Yu Jian's wounds using a white cloth. Previously he gave some medicinal olees that Yu Jian felt quite hot so as to make his face show a sore expression.
“Sorry to hurt you like that. Li Yating is a special grade disciple like me, I've seen her follow me many times. I think he misunderstood our situation.” explained Yi Wei.
“It wasn't your fault. I think anyone would misunderstand me seeing a man and a woman living in the same place. It's just that I think the martial experts brought it to a more dangerous level by involving swords and blood.” Yu Jian tried to joke.
“Once again I'm sorry. Instead I let you try the medicine I'm developing.”
Yu Jian wrinkled his face as Yi Wei said the medicine was in development. Plus Yi Wei was a poison plant expert and not a medicine making Yu Jian unsure of its efficacy.
“You made me a lab rat?”
“I don't know what a lab rat is, but I can assure you it doesn't kill you. Least.” Yi Wei tried to convince.
“Truly unconvincing.” Yu Jian had resigned.
“We will know if it works or not later, right now all you need to do is rest while collecting your Qi. With the help of Qi absorption then the drug can be absorbed faster so that the treatment is more efficient.”
Based on what Yi Wei said, the medicinal properties were only felt if Yu Jian used the Qi absorption technique. Yu Jian did not immediately answer him and instead turned his face away from Yi Wei.
Seeing that response Yi Wei became aware that the root of Yu Jian's problem was not in martial training, but in the roots of martial Qi itself.
“Related with your past? Is trying to absorb Qi even a hard thing for you?”
Yi Wei looked with concern for Yu Jian. He clasped Yu Jian's hand, but Yu Jian did not turn his head towards Yi Wei. He withdrew his hand from Yi Wei, in him telling a story would only make him tormented. Trying to get out a single word only Yu Jian felt like he was being giggled by his past.
“Will I give you another medicine, this time you can calm down. The medicine I gave you was made by master.”
Yu Jian felt guilty for ignoring Yi Wei, but he himself did not know what to respond to Yi Wei's words.
After returning with the medicinal pill Yi Wei left Yu Jian to rest again. He came to a halt in front of Yu Jian's room then turned to look at Yu Jian.
“If you're ready to tell a story, I'd like to listen to it.”
After saying that Yi Wei walked out of the house towards where his master was.
