First Mission: The Troublesome Preparation [2]

Being a physical martial artist is probably one of the toughest things in the world. The physical trainers would be faced with an adverse position against martial experts who used weapons such as spears and swords. This difficulty was also felt by Yu Jian as a physical martial expert.

“Continue... You want to go on your first mission like that?” yi Wei.

Yi Wei looked at Yu Jian from top to bottom. Only use black clothes and bags that will be filled with various purposes during the first mission. Tonight was the night of preparation before Yu Jian, Yi Wei, and Li Jia went to do the mission together.

Divine beasts were creatures that appeared in the heavenly mountains that existed in the eastern part of the continent. It was a harsh place to survive and become a residence for divine beasts. Even so the population of the divine beast itself was not so much that it was rarely encountered

“As the sect leader said, this is seeking experience for us. Besides, I don't think it's really a mission for us because there will be people helping us. It was more like a master heard the news of a divine beast from his friend who was hunting a divine beast. So the master used this opportunity to send us to him to seek experience.” thought Yu Jian.

“I hope that's the only possibility.” Yi Wei caught Yu Jian's intent.

Both of them continued to prepare themselves. Yu Jian carried several clothes into one bag with Yi Wei's clothes. Yu Jian tried not to think too much about mixing clothes in one bag in order to save the bag carried.

Meanwhile Yi Wei included some medicinal herbs, pills, and other powders that were unknown to Yu Jian's function. He also inserted a needle and a small knife.

“For what is a small knife and needle?” Yu Jian was curious.

“I learned a little acupuncture technique for healing. It's not that good but I think it can be quite helpful. For the knife I only brought it in case when needed.” explained Yi Wei.

Without asking any further Yu Jian continued to put in items for the sake of items needed. When the night was getting late, the two decided to rest in order to have enough energy for the trip tomorrow.

“How? Is it appropriate?” ask someone with a white beard and muscular hands.

“This doesn't interfere with my movement, nor is it heavy. I think everything's fine.” Yu Jian gave a thumbs up.

After that Yu Jian left the place. Just now Yu Jian visited the sect's weapon-making grounds. Because this mission was dangerous, the sect gave some additional equipment to Yu Jian as a new martial expert.

Behind her clothes was a leather suit to protect her from the slashes that pointed at her body. In both hands there is also a leather glove on the back of his hand there is an iron plate to hold sharp objects such as sword slashes. Yu Jian who felt his preparations were done immediately headed for the sect gate, where Yi Wei and Li Jia were already waiting.

Yu Jian took off a bit of his shirt which featured leather armor and showed off his gloves.

“The glove looks perfect for you.” praise Yi Wei.

“Is that? Unfortunately I do not like the brown color in these gloves.” Yu Jian complained.

“As long as it can protect you appearance is not important. Where are our first destinations?” asked Yi Wei.

Yu Jian took out a sizable piece of paper that was folded from within his clothes. He unfolded the folds of paper and displayed a map. It clearly shows the geography of the world.

“Right now that we are in the sect, we should leave for at least two days towards the meeting point. After that we go again for two weeks to the location where the rumors contained his divine beast.” said Yu Jian.

“It will be quite a long journey” Li Jia is eager to adventure

“At least our time can be cut in half because we will use the horse once it arrives at the meeting point with a master friend.” Yi Wei said.

“You're okay Li Jia?” asked Yu Jian.

“What? I'm really excited right now.”Li Jia's eyes emitted embers of fire

“You know, Hao Chen is not coming with us because he will go with my master and Xian Yu.” explained Yu Jian.

“Let's just relax, I've split up with him several times because of different missions.”

Despite saying that Li Jia looked to the side as if not wanting to say that while looking at Yu Jian. Despite being seen as a maniac who only cares about fighting and swords, Li Jia remains Hao Chen's fiancee and loves him. In the end, they had to go all three. With the limitations of the attack pattern, energy, and experience the three joined the expedition to conquer the divine beast.

Though a divine beast alone could make it difficult for several master-level martial experts at once. On the other hand our master level experts are just you.” Yi Wei glanced at Yu Jian.

“Once, I'm curious too. Maybe the master friend is strong enough that it can reduce and cover the lack of quantity of people going.” explains Yu Jian.

The three of them also left together, the maelstrom of the sect. On the other hand Li Jia felt a burning excited thump as it was going to fight the imoogi and meet the strong man who was the friend of master Yu Jian and Yi Wei.
