First Mission: One Shoot! [3]

The dark passenger, the figure of an unwanted person appears in a group. Usually people will be referred to as stowaways because of their sudden or stealthy presence.

“My feet ache Li Jia!” the dark passenger.

“That's why I told you to increase your stamina more often than you[there are training techniques only.” Li Jia replied.

In front of Yu Jian and Yi Wei looked at Xia Wu with her own luggage. As the three decided to rest at the inn on the first night they met Xia Wu. Back then he had just completed a sect mission as an important person's bodyguard to the region around the inn.

“Why did Xia Wu follow us?” whispered Yu Jian.

“I think all are already in their plans.” reply Yi Wei.”

“Why? If XIa Wu wants to come along, he should just say so. We can pick him up like we do now.” Yu Jian was still confused.

“Although he is a level 1 sect disciple, but Xia Wu should not undertake any dangerous missions based on the words of the sect head. Now that Yu Jian could see it more clearly, there was a small horizontal wound on the area of his nose. Slowly he walked up to Li Jia and Xia Wu who were in front of Yu Jian and Yi Wei.

Li Jia pulled out his sword and took the frontmost position to protect Xia Wu. Yu Jian who could not stand still used his martial technique, ikazuchi. Yu Jian held onto Xia Wu's shoulder and pulled her back slowly.

The moment Yu Jian was already at Li Jia's side, he increasingly felt the bloodlust and pressure that person exuded.

“This... I think it's beyond our capacity you know?” Yu Jian was not sure.

Li Jia did not answer him directly. His gaze was so sharp as that of a wolf who was defending his territory. Without any cue or plan Li Jia advanced swiftly towards that figure.

“Li Jia!” Yu Jian shouted.

Li Jia did not listen to Yu Jian's words and focused on grasping his sword. As he approached that person he used a series of techniques that were more savage than the ones Yu Jian usually fought. His movements were so agile and his sword was like claws and teeth about to tear apart his prey.

Even with such a super-fast and so sharp attack, not a single Li Jia attack could land even on his shirt. The difference in the person's abilities was seen very clearly when compared to Li Jia, knowing that Yu Jian was planning to join forces and help Li Jia.

“Be careful. At least that person is at grandmaster rank.” Yi Wei knew Yu Jian was going to advance.

Just then too the figure dodged and thrust the sword that was still in the scabbard into Yu Jian's stomach. It was not enough that he gave such great power that he managed to lift Yu Jian's body into the air. Before Yu Jian bounced far away, the man raised his sword high and struck Yu Jian to the ground. Yu Jian was now joined by Li Jia who had fainted on the ground.

The woman lifted Yu Jian up her shoulders and carried Li Jia aside like she was carrying a sack. He walked closer to Yi Wei and Xia Wu, as Xia Wu prepared to pull out his sword but Yi Wei held back.

“Isn't that a little overwhelming to see their capabilities?” asked Yi Wei.

“Your mission is to help me to hunt imoogi, of course you must qualify.” the women who are considered bandits by them speak up.

“Eh Yi Wei?” Xia Wu while pulling Yi Wei's sleeves.

“At first I thought he was a bandit, it's just that I thought that he was the person the master meant. You're my master's acquaintance aren't you?” asked Yi Wei.

“That's right, I'm Huo Ling.” Huo Ling introduced herself.

“Huo Ling! You mean Sword Emperor?!” Xia Wu could not hide her shock.
