Chapters 14. Star Meet Old Man Kirana

A few days after the incident at the restaurant, Kirana and Vano's relationship is increasingly stretched, it's because the woman always avoids meeting Vano.

"Kirana, what's wrong?"

Kirana was of course surprised, when she realized Vano was in the kitchen.

"I'm fine. Just a little vegetable sauce."

Vano swiftly grabbed Kirana's hand, then led her towards the sink. He immediately turned on the water tap, and poured it over Kirana's hand.

"Don't let it, your hands will blister and rub" said Vano.

Kirana was just silent, staring at her slightly flushed right hand. Vano's attention made him sick. Kirana does not want herself to be too hopeful, after getting rejection and humiliation from Marwah.

The corner of Kirana's eyes was already watery, she immediately wiped it with one free hand. Vano realized that. After turning off the water tap, the man looked at Kirana, rubbing the cheeks of the woman he loved gently. Tears began to pour down on Kirana's face.

Kirana shook her head slowly. Although his heart ached, he tried to toughen up.

"I'll be moving out of here soon" he said, leaving Vano's eyes wide open.

"Kirana, I love you. Please don't be like this. Can't we fight together?"

"Sorry, Vano. I can't fight for it. I don't want Danish to get any more humiliation than this."

Vano sighed weakly. He knew that his mother had gone too far. Even to say Danish as an illegitimate child. So, it was only natural that Kirana would be angry like this.

"I'm going to move house. And resign from the boutique."
