In the Silence of Nara
Chapter 8
At that moment, Yudha crouched down in front of Nara who was sleeping. Yudha started stroking her cheeks.
"What is this feeling, Nay?" whispered Yudha back.
It seems Yudha is in love.
Yudha lifted Nara into the room and covered her. Yudha left Nara in her room. There was not the slightest intention to fuck Nara. He doesn't want to ruin Nara.
In his mind, how should he protect Nara as best as possible. Yudha had not felt in love like this for a long time, the last time she loved someone and was rejected in front of the crowd because she was just a street busker.
Nara flinched and found in already in the room with her body covered in blankets. Nara's negative thoughts appeared, she immediately checked her body, apparently her clothes were still complete. Nara breathed heavily.
Nara got out of bed, peeked behind the glass, it was parked Yudha car in the yard means Yudha has gone home. Nara exits the room trying to find Yudha. Nara found Yudha sitting in the middle room.
Nara came closer and patted Yudha on the shoulder, when Yudha was surprised and looked back.
"Why awake?" ask Yudha. "Now three o'clock in the morning, go to bed again!"
Nara shook her head and demonstrated sign language which meant that she was no longer sleepy.
"Nay …." Yudha's words were interrupted.
"What?" nara answered, even though her voice did not come out.
"Mas confused, Nay." Yudha shifted her sitting position. Then he patted the surface of the sofa signifying that he had Nara sitting next to him.
After Nara followed Yudha's orders, Yudha said that she met Nara's stepbrother who had sold her to her mother. It turns out that mami contacted Andi and told him that Nara ran away and showed Yudha as the person who was at the time booking Nara.
Nara's face immediately turned tense. He begged Yudha not to say where he was. Nara got down from the sofa and knelt before Yudha. He begged, he did not want to go back to that place.
"Stand, Nay!" Yudha was surprised to see Nara kneeling and pleading with her even if she only used gestures as a sign of yes pleading.
Yudha held onto both of Nara's shoulders and invited her back to sit on the sofa.
"We're just getting married!" yudha.
Nara was surprised to hear that, as if her eyeballs were about to jump out.
"I have no way to protect you. Maybe making you my wife is the way. I'm afraid, your stepbrother will report us who live in this house as a couple to gather kebo," explained Yudha at length.
Nor would Yudha have the heart if Nara was brought back by her half-brother and handed over to the mother.
Nara was silent for a long time. His hands squeezing each other, this is a characteristic of Nara if he is confused or panicked.
Yudha turned her head back to the back of the sofa. With an occasional glance at Nara who was still confused.
Nara poked the back of Yudha's hand. This made Yudha look at him. At that moment Nara nodded without her agreeing to marry Yudha.
"Pack your clothes, Nay! We will go to my village tonight, too" Yudha said.
I don't feel calm if I have to wait for tomorrow morning.
Right what Yudha is. When they were not so far out of the gate of the house, there were several motorbikes circling in front of their house. It can be known Yudha from CCTV cameras connected to her cell phone.
"I think it's mami's people" Yudha told Nara.
They went through a grueling eight-hour journey and finally arrived at the house of Yudha's parents during the day.
Yudha's mother and father were surprised to see Yudha carrying a beautiful woman and immediately expressed his intention that they were about to get married.
"Don't you say she's pregnant!" mother said to Yudha.
"Yes, no, I was. I'm the same he hasn't done anything yet. Mother, nih, bad thinking continues with me," Ceplos Yudha.
"Then why did you suddenly come, and ask for a quick marriage."
"Rather than me staying home but, not married. Where's mom going?"
"It's hard to talk to you, this" said the mother, looking a little upset.
After a long conversation, Yudha's parents finally followed Yudha's willingness to marry Nara.
"Don't suddenly gini, come on, Yud!" lamented mother. "Mother wants to also like people, party her son." Mom kept her words back.
"Mom, Yudha is under contract. In the written contract, Yudha cannot be married for two years. If Yudha breaks the contract, the fine is ten times the salary of Yudha," Yudha lied to her parents.
She just didn't want many to know, she was still scared, Aunt Olivia knew of the wedding and took all the facilities she had until now.
The day after they arrived in Yudha's native land, the marriage took place in the office of religious affairs (KUA). With the guardian of KUA who became the guardian of Nara's marriage because she did not have anyone else. Yudha gave a set of prayer tools as her dowry.
Only a few neighbors were invited by the mother to come home to recite prayers after they returned from KUA.
Nara only used her sister Yudha's kebaya at graduation first.
"Mother is like seeing your sister, Yud," she said when she saw Nara.
"Dear him like a mother's own son! Let's just say he was presented as a substitute for adek."
"You guys after this stay here?" ask Yudha.
"You want that, Mom. But, for now we have to go back to the city first. Someday Yudha will stay here, ma'am."
Two days after the wedding, they returned to the city. During those two days as well, Aunt Olivia had not stopped contacting Yudha. Sometimes midnight Aunt Olivia video call with her indecent appearance.
If so, Yudha will be thrown out of bed. Because there was Nara sleeping. There was even one night, Nara came to her senses and she stayed away from Yudha. Nara just smiled. However, that smile made Yudha feel bad.
Even though they sleep in the room, they have never forgotten intimate relationships. It's not that Yudha doesn't want to. It's just that the desire was lost to the shame that Yudha had. Although he was a sinner, he could not do that to Nara. He feels himself dirty not worthy to hook Nara who is still holy.
Perhaps this is Yudha's sincere love for Nara. He really wanted to save Nara.
After Yudha finished making a video call with Aunt Olivia, Nara approached Yudha. He gave Yudha the watch she had been wearing.
"We're in exchange?" ask Yudha who has begun to understand Nara.
Nara nodded.
Yudha also took off her watch which cost much more than Nara's.
