In the Silence of Nara

Chapter 10

"Where's where our couple gathers kebo?" yudha snapped while showing the marriage book in green and brown.

"I and Nara are married" Yudha told the gathered crowd.

Hearing Yudha's words, Andi and the citizens were shocked. Mr. RT took the book from Yudha's hands. It seems he wants to check the truth of the marriage book.

Let alone the shocked citizens. Aron who was watching from afar was also surprised. He heard that Yudha and Nara were married.

After feeling enough to check the truth of the marriage book, Mr. RT apologized and told the citizens to disperse.

Nara followed to the door and hid behind Yudha's back. While Aron kept watching from outside the fence. He abandoned his intention to visit Yudha. From inside the car, Aron can still watch Yudha embrace Nara's shoulder and bring Nara into the house and close the door.

There's no sure reason, for some reason Aron hates that sight so much. He didn't like it if Yudha had married Nara.

While elsewhere, Andi does not accept being embarrassed by Yudha. Intentions want to humiliate Nara, even he who got a counterattack for allegedly giving a false report.

With a sense of emotion that overwhelms him, Andi comes to mami. He also did not want to continue to be blamed by mami.

"Why else are you here?" mami snapped when she saw Andi standing in front of her.

"I know where Nara is" Andi said without further ado.

Hearing Andi's words, Mami immediately cursed with all harsh words. "Anjng the Yudha. How dare that bbi fool me. Look at the reply!"

Andi smiled with satisfaction, she felt her responsibility to look for Nara's whereabouts was over. Now, whatever you're gonna do is his business.

That morning, Yudha left for work as usual. She was no longer worried about leaving Nara at home. No more Andi would bother Nara. However, he was unaware of the danger that threatened him.

Nara did what the wife used to do to the husband, she drove Yudha into the car, saluted and kissed the back of Yudha's hand. So did Yudha, replying with a sweet kiss on the forehead. Yudha did that indeed with feelings because she was indeed in love with Nara.

There was nothing strange during the trip and in the office. Looks like Aron hasn't told Aunt Olivia what she saw this morning. Aunt Olivia still behaves sweetly to Yudha even with a guarded attitude.

Without Yudha knowing, while in the car park, there was a bad person who had severed the brake cable of Yudha's car. They are mami's men.

Today Yudha came home as usual, no work required her to overtime. He always walked out of the office after six in the afternoon, waiting for the streets not to be so jammed anymore.

"First, yes, Jud," said a co-worker whom Yudha met while in the office lobby.

"Be careful!" yudha shouted while raising his hand.

Aunt Olivia also came home early because she got word from her housekeeper that her husband was coming home, because the order from the office had a file she had to finish.

At nine o'clock there was no sign of Yudha coming home. Only, at that time he heard someone was hitting the fence.

"Assalamualaikum" shouted the woman from outside the fence. "Is there anyone at home?"

Nara ran from the house.

What was?

Nara tried to ask, even though her voice did not come out.

The woman is a next-door neighbor, she shows a photo of a traffic accident whose victim is Yudha. He got the photo from a voicemail from the WA group he had.

Police were unable to reach the family because Yudha's cell phone was locked.

Nara took the memo in her pants pocket, she asked where Yudha was taken. The woman named the hospital where Yudha was rushed.

"Can you please order me an ojek online, sister?" nara wrote in her memo.

The woman immediately opened the online application and ordered it.

Waiting for the ojek to arrive, Nara walks into the house, picks up some of the money she has, and locks the door.

"Mbak Nara, his ojek has come" called Yudha's neighbor.

Until Nara is in the hospital, Nara goes to the information table and writes Yudha's name on the memo paper she has. The nurse showed me the room where Yudha was being treated.

Yudha's leg was squeezed, he had to perform pen-mounting operations to get to the road as before.

Nara was on the floor and the room mentioned by the information officer on the ground floor, but Nara's steps had to stop when she saw there was already Aron and Aunt Olivia.

Quickly, Nara hides behind a wall as Aron turns his back on her. He's afraid Aron's seen it. Not far away was the door to the emergency staircase. Nara opened the door slowly, she would wait there until the two people who hated her came home.

According to Nara, there was no way Aunt Olivia would accompany Yudha all night in the hospital, as did Aron. Every time she heard footsteps, Nara stood up and peeked out from the small glass at the door.

Until one night, he saw Aron and Aunt Olivia leave the room. After waiting for them completely away from the room, Nara came out of her hiding place looking for the room where Yudha was cared for.

After opening the memo with the room name and room number mentioned by the information officer, Nara found the room in question.

When Nara enters Yudha's room, it is seen that Yudha has not regained consciousness after undergoing pen-mounting surgery. Nara then clasped Yudha's hand and kissed her. To be honest, Nara also had the same feelings towards Yudha. They both love each other in silence.

At dawn after the Fajr Salat, Nara returned to her room and saw Yudha beginning to awaken. Yudha was very happy to see her for the first time when she opened her eyes. He then reached out to Nara, and Nara immediately greeted him. Yudha then kissed the back of Nara's hand as a sign of affection. Nara smiled accepting the treatment.

Actually, they love each other even though it has to happen secretly. When the sky starts to light, Nara asks for permission to go home. He is worried about meeting Aunt Olivia and Aron. Yudha asked, "Why don't you want to see Aron?" with a raucous voice. Nara just shook her head, not wanting Yudha to feel anxious if she said that Aron was not a good friend.
