In the Silence of Nara
Chapter 19
"Tomorrow we meet Mas Yudha, yuk, Yu!" take Nara so excited.
Ayu who does not want the events of a few months ago to happen again. Wherever Nara went, the people in this house would know.
"Don't, Non!" ban Ayu.
"Why?" asked Nara wonder why now ayu does not want to follow her wishes.
Ayu gave the reason that it could endanger Nara if Nara desperately met Yudha. Kenny must not hesitate to hurt Yudha again. His hatred for Judah is not over either.
While a dozen kilometers from Kedina Nara, Yudha was busy chatting with her friends before she left to sell fried rice.
"You can mural, right, Yud?" al asked Yudha. Al was Yudha's playmate in the village.
A mural is a way of drawing or painting over a medium wall, wall or other large, permanent surface.
"Mess a little bit," said Yudha who was busy strumming the old guitar left by the father."why? There's a job, is there?" keep Yudha again.
"There, nih. A new doll shop opened. So the owner wants to have pictures of children's cartoon characters in the store."
"If it's a children's cartoon, it doesn't matter. The problem is that the magazine image is adult" said one of Yudha's friends.
"******! Could it be you, demon," Yudha said at that time and was greeted with their laughter.
"If the pay is right, gas, go!" sahut Yudha's.
"Reluctive," replied Al.
Yudha did not know that the shop she was going to work on was Nara's doll shop.
The next day, Yudha, Al and two other friends went to the doll shop, with a map, and finally they arrived at a pink shop outside. After they entered, the walls of the shop were still plain with white. While the doll has been neatly arranged on the shelf.
Grandmother confidants were waiting at the store and showed me a wall to be drawn. That side will be used for where visitors take pictures.
While elsewhere, Nara swallowed disappointment every day. Nara deliberately walked in the usual place Yudha busking using her car. But for five days, Nara found no more Yudha in that place. Already tried circling the city, hoping to see Yudha elsewhere. However, the result is nil.
Nara's phone rang, apparently a call from grandma. Using bluetooth earphones, Nara answered the call. Grandma said that Nara should go to the doll shop to check the work of people in the store.
"Let's go with Tio, yeah! He's been waiting for you at home" Grandma ordered before the phone call ended.
Finally Nara turned her car towards the house.
After Nara arrived home, it was true there was Tio and her mother–Tante Melisa. To Nara's surprise, her grandmother and mother Tio were opening a bridal clothing catalog for one of the wedding organizers.
"Look, man, Nar! What modern clothes do you like?" aunty Melisa asked while thrusting the catalogue towards Nara.
"Where is it." Nara's smile was forced. "When is the show?" ask Nara back.
"Another month." Grandma answered casually while turning over the catalog page.
Nara was stunned to hear Grandma's reply.
"Why do we have to delay again, huh, Yo?"
Tio nodded with spirit.
"If being a rich man is like this, Nara is more likely to live a difficult life like yesterday" whispered Nara who sounded faintly in the ears of grandma.
Grandma immediately opened her eyeballs. "Don't repeat the same mistake, Nara! Don't be stupid like your mother!" bentak granny.
"Mother's not stupid, Grandma. Mama's gonna defend happiness." I don't know the power from which Nara could have been bravely refuted so.
"Already! Not much story! Now have Tio look at the preparations for your doll shop, "send grandma.
Along the way Nara prefers silence. The day is no longer good. I could no longer find Yudha. Plus the statement of the grandmother who said that she and Tio will get married in a month.
Yudha tried to have a chat but, answered only one by Nara. Until Tio issued a question that Nara had been waiting for.
"Are you happy with this match?"
Nara immediately turned her head towards Tio who was focusing on driving. "Say someone, life should know with a return!"
"Who's the guy?" Tio seems curious.
Nara went back to silence and threw her face towards the window.
"Do you still love your gigolo ex-husband?"
Hearing that remark Nara immediately looked at Tio sharply. He did not like people to call Yudha that.
"At least he's not a guy who likes to ruin people's girls under the pretext of love," Nara replied sharply.
Tio laughed cynically at Nara's reply. The mood of an unpleasant day is getting worse. It feels Nara's body becomes sultry even though in the car AC is always on.
Send them to Nara's doll shop. From the outside of the shop surrounded by glass, some people were finishing the mural.
The arrival of Nara and Tio was warmly welcomed by the grandmother confidant who took care of this store from the beginning until it was ready to open as it is today.
Nara went straight to the corner of the room that had been drawn. At that time the workers were finishing.
"Jude, look from afar! Ok Ndak?" yelled Al who was sitting on the folding stairs.
Yudha took a step back and always paid attention to each side of the image, looking for flaws in the image. So that he subconsciously hit someone and made the person he hit fall.
"I'm sorry" said Yudha and immediately turned his body around.
Now that Nara and Yudha met, their eyes clashed against each other. For a few seconds they were silent because they were both shocked. I can't believe they're meeting again. Even with a different situation.
Their daydreams became scum after Tio shouted to call Nara with a word of affection. Tio came and helped Nara stand up.
"How do you work so discreetly?" Tio exorcises Yudha.
"Ma .. sorry, sir. I'm not on purpose."
"He doesn't know, sir, if there's anyone behind, he's looking at the details of the mural he's drawing" Al shouted from the top of the stairs.
Silently, Yudha still stole a glance towards Nara who was sitting on the sofa was indeed provided in this shop.
Tio asked the workers at the store if they had lunch. Compact they haven't eaten. Finally Tio ordered food from the app for the workers' lunch.
After the food arrived and they only realized that Yudha did not exist when the food rations were one excess.
Apparently, Yudha came home without Al's knowledge. He had to avoid Nara. Because he heard Tio's story with the grandmother's confidant that this store would open before Nara and Tio's wedding.
