I Think, I Love You

I Think, I Love You
Marry her

After cleaning himself up, Jere intended to sleep, but no matter what disturbed his mind he could not close his eyes. Another thing he did was help bi Asih prepare dinner, even though the young woman had already banned Jere, this young man still did.

"Bi, did you ask me yesterday?" jere asked as he heated the chicken in the microwave in the corner of the kitchen.

"Yes, since Irene told you not to stay in the apartment" Bi Asih replied, they were so close that even Jere considered his own family, "But your mama didn't respond much, it seems that she knows where you are" bi Asih.

Jere nodded his sign in agreement, right. Eve always knew that if she was with Shania, Eve had a tracking device or a hidden cctv that always followed her son, no, Jere would not think about it. Clearly, Jere was happy to have a mother so understanding as Eve.

"What does this have to do with the fight?" bi Asih asked curiously, mostly if men of Jere's age were fighting because of women's affairs right? the romance? that's what bi Asih thought. This was the first time that Jere was seen fighting, whereas before the boy had always been kind and organized.

"Ah, this is my friend's fad during the photo shoot" Jere replied. "I'll go, tell my mom I'll go to my friend's house if she asks me again" Jere said after tasting a freshly cooked piece of chicken.

"Friends? which friend?" ask bi Asih, Jere did not answer again. A moment later the roar of his car rang out loud leaving the mansion. Bi Asih just a head bobble to see Jere who has grown more and more mature.

Jere's goal this time is to return to Shania's house, just see the woman and deliver food for tonight. Jeremy actually knew Shania had gotten word that her ex was getting married, but Jere wouldn't interfere further. It's enough that Shania says she's overrated for noticing Shania above her reasonable limits, and maybe even the woman is still angry because of her unilateral decision to lay off work.

"Shannn-- You're up----?"

Jeremy arrived as was his habit of opening the door without knocking or pressing the bell first.Three pairs of eyes were fixed on him, Irene and Seno stared in wonder and bewilderment.

"Eh, are you here?" Jere asked confusedly.

"You why?" tanya Irene looked at the appearance of Jere with lips and a plastered eel, as well as walking a little limp.

"Ah this, I just took an action advertisement. So there was a little accident!" he said, "Why are you here? since when are you guys familiar?" jeremy asked, sitting next to Shania, while Shania just kept quiet and didn't want to say anything.

"I just wanted to see Shania. Didn't you say she was sick?" tanya Irene looked at Jere with a gaze full of inquiry.

"Ah yes, Shania is not doing well right now, is she Shan?" jere asked Shania for a yes answer "You can go home now I'll take Shania to the doctor!" he said while standing up to let Irene and Seno go home, more precisely to expel the two creatures politely.

Despite the high curiosity and confusion, Irene and Seno gradually leave the Shania apartment unit and Shania remained silent on Jere's words as if agreeing to expel them.

"I didn't think they were that close" Seno said as they headed for the elevator, "I think they had a special relationship!" Seno said sure.

Irene nodded, Irene and Jere also looked so stiff, they were covering something up.

Jere closed Shania's door and sat down in front of the woman and thrust out the plastic she was carrying, "For you, fried chicken is anti-chuckle" Jere smiled.

"You're here to deliver this?"

"No, I know they're here and you're not comfortable" she lied.

"Go home!" Shania flat.

"Huh? I just came" Jeremy protested.

"I want to be alone. Do you know what it's like not to be disturbed? do I have to ask security to drag you out?" Shania was angry, she was really lazy to deal with anyone now.

"Shan, it's not that!"

"Home home Jer, I really want to be alone" Shania lowered her voice, impressed as if begging Jere to really go and leave her alone.

"All right! Call me if you're lonely" Jere said after taking a deep breath, actually he wanted to take Shania out tonight, watching or eating in a beautiful place that might make Shania momentarily forget the burden of her mind. But it seems that Shania prefers to enjoy her sadness alone.

...***...

Irene arrives home, she joins Jimmy and Eve after dinner, just the three of them, there is no Jere.

"Jere where's ma?" Irene asked Eve on the sidelines of their small talk. He wondered if Eve knew that Jere was in the house of Shania, whom he loved by her foster brother.

"Ah, she called my mom. He said he had business. Maybe I'll be back soon!" Answer Eve.

Irene nodded, she bit down from feeling a little nervous about the thing she was about to ask.

"Ma?.." call Irene timid.

"Hm? Why Ren?"

"Did you know Shania?"

"Yes, we know him quite well" Jimmy's turn to answer because Feel the topic of conversation this time is more interesting than just the socialite story or branded goods that they were talking about.

"He was stopped by Jeremy in the office" Shania replied "And earlier when I went to Shania's house to see how things were going, Jeremy was there too" Irene explained.

"Shania was stopped by Jere?" ask Jimmy wrinkled. "What's the reason for the boy?"

"She said Shania was very sick! that was all that Jere kataka--" had not had time for Shania to finish her speech, Jere arrived with a thunderous voice filling the room.

"Haiy... Allaaa!!!" Jere walked in with limping steps greeting and shocking everyone.

"Ah, you happened to come. Come here! we have something to talk about!" Invite Jimmy to pull one of the chairs for Jere.

"What's pa?"

"You laid off Shania?" jimmy asked straight to the core, after Jere sat in his chair.

Jere was a little surprised, but when he saw Irene he could understand. Irene must have told her strange decision to both parents.

"Yes pa" replied Jere calmly "I did it because Shania was too hard on her, she often forced herself to work. While he needs something else to stay happy living this life, he's going through a lot of inner pressure, even if I'm in his position, I can't" Jere said, while the others in the room listened intently to Jere's words.

"It may seem strange that I'm asking Irene to dismiss Shania, but I'll take responsibility if this goes against the company's rules. Shania doesn't know anything, she has nothing to do with this, I took the initiative to do this myself because she sometimes refused my help!"

"Pa, I just want Shania to be happy again like she used to be. Papa see how often he comes here? but now that everything is gone, back to work he is like a soulless body, spending time with his daydreams. I just feel sad if she keeps doing that. So, I thought of giving him freedom without being tied to a job first" Jere explained everything.

"Again, once things improved he was able to work again. I didn't lay it off permanently, only on leave!" Jere defended his decision again.

Jimmy sighed in hearing his son's explanation, as well as Eve and then patted Jere's shoulder which may still be painful there because of the fight earlier.

"Jer, after hearing your concern and goodwill towards Shania there is one most powerful way that you can protect and take care of Shania always and so on" Jimmy paused, then glanced at Eve while throwing a smile and it seemed that Eve had understood where her husband was saying.

Jere looked fixedly at the papa, waiting for the answer to be uttered from Jimmy's lips curiously.

"Married Shania!" said Jimmy.
