Adrian pushes Jenna backwards and she immediately runs towards the direction of the sound. The longer, the more people who shouted and the voice of the girl who shouted earlier, it was no longer heard. Replaced by the sound of someone biting something hard.

Jenna ran after Adrian from behind, her steps blocked by people who scattered and shouted hysterically. "Adrians!"

"Stay there, Jen! Don't come any closer!" toras Adrian. He picked up the rifle that was on his belt and aimed at the gray-colored strange creature with red eyes and bat-like ears.

The sound of rifles and the smell of gunpowder accompanied the painful sound of the strange creature. Jenna shut her mouth when Adrian shot back two moaning men asking for help.

Jenna swallowed her saliva. "K-, did you kill that human?"

"I saved them. You see these bite marks? If I don't shoot them, they'll turn out to be like these ugly creatures" Adrian replied in a cold voice.

Jenna was devastated when she saw blood flowing everywhere like a river. "Ta-, but, you don't have to shoot them. I-, this is too, ...."

Jenna's entire body shook, this was the first time Jenna had seen someone shot on the spot. It's more terrifying than fighting those fish-scaled creatures.

Adrian hugs Jenna's body and calms her down. "I'm sorry, you have to see everything, Jen,"

Jenna sobbed and was still shaking in Adrian's arms. The man let Jenna vent her fear and emotions in his arms.

Once she calmed down, Adrian brought the girl a bottle of mineral water and a bar of chocolate to bring her back to calm down. "Eat first,"

Jenna took the chocolate that Adrian had cut and put it in her mouth. I see, the chocolate melted in his mouth, his heart felt a little calm and Jenna was not as scared as before. "Thank you,"

Adrian gave Jenna a moment to digest what had just happened. He made no effort to get Jenna to talk and Adrian kept waiting, until the girl, who had empty eyes, was ready to talk and walk back.

Starting in the afternoon, Jenna was still silent and did not speak a single word. Finally, Adrian clasped the girl's hand and took her for a walk. "Jen, yuk,"

Jenna nodded and returned Adrian's hand involuntarily. Right now, he just wants to go back and see Ortega. However, he was unable to do so because they still had one job they had to do.

"Are you okay?" adrian asked softly.

Jenna's face still looked deathly pale, but it already looked better than a few dozen minutes ago. He nodded slowly. "Yes,"

Adrian ruffles Jenna's hair and invites her to a clothing boutique ordered by Kamila, without removing her hand from Jenna's.

Just like Adrian, Jenna starts to get comfortable with Adrian's warm hand holding her. Before long, they entered a boutique filled with bright colorful party dresses and hung neatly, spoiling the eyes of anyone who looked at her.

"Come in first and choose a dress or two that you think is good. I'm going across there for a bit to pick up some tuxedos and set suits for the guys" Adrian said. "Later I'll pick you up here. Wait till I come!"

Jenna clutched Adrian's finger and didn't want to take it off. "A-, are you going to be long?"

Adrian smiling. "No, I'll speed up the fittings,"

Jenna nodded and she entered the boutique. A woman greeted him kindly. "Welcome, Miss. What are you looking for?"

"Hmmm, I'm looking for a dress for a dance party with a Renaissance theme," Jenna replied awkwardly. Every now and then she looked where Adrian was going and after the man was nowhere to be seen, Jenna stuck her head out once every two minutes.

The woman with the clap took Jenna to a dress rack that expanded wide like a princess's dress. "Please choose which one you like, miss,"

"Should I try?" ask Jenna.

"Of course you should try it, Miss Beautiful! Ah, I'll wait outside because there's no dressing room in our shop" the woman replied, leaving Jenna with a cream-colored dress in her hand.

After a few minutes in the dressing room, someone knocked on the door. "Jen, it's me. Kamila asked me to choose two dresses. And, I've chosen it for you,"

"Adrians? Are you done?" ask Jenna again.

"It has. Open your door a little bit and try on this dress" Adrian said.

A door lock was opened from the inside, and Jenna's hand came out from behind it. "Where's the dress? Oh, it's so pretty in color,"

"Yes, that's your color, isn't it?" ask Adrian. "Jen, I'll be waiting for you outside. If you don't like it, I'll get you another one,"

"Yes, what's wrong?" ask Adrian again.

"Can you please call that woman? Ah, but, can you help me? My hair is stuck in the zipper of this dress. It hurts a lot" said Jenna.

Adrian's voice sounded panicked and he moved clumsily in front of the locker room door. "Ah, i-, that. Ba-, okay. I'm in, is that it?"

Jenna opened the door for Adrian. His head is tilted to the left, because his long hair is stuck in the middle of the zipper. "Please," she moaned.

Adrian laughed when he saw Jenna. "Facing ahead. It's gonna hurt a little bit, 'cause I'm gonna pull your hair to get rid of the zipper,"

"No problem" Jenna said.

Carefully, Adrian pulled Jenna's long hair one by one. However, there are some strands that are very concerned there and Adrian was forced to pull it. "Already,"

"Aw!" jenna said while rubbing her head. "You're right, this hurts,"

"Not finished! Lift your hair" Adrian said.

Suddenly, Jenna felt her heart rumble as Adrian accidentally touched her open back. Jenna could feel the roar of Adrian's breath at the nape of her neck, feeling hot.

"Done up! You're beautiful, just take both of them and tie your hair when you try on a dress!" Adrian took a piece of tape that was on the hanger of the dress and tied Jenna's hair with it.

"Te-Thank you" said Jenna in a choked voice.

After taking care of everything, they returned to Kamila mansion. Ortega immediately welcomed Jenna's arrival with a warm pagutan. "I heard bad news this afternoon,"

Adrian sneered to see Ortega and Jenna holding each other and hugging. "Yes, he survived thanks to me. Thank you back,"

Volkov patted Adrian on the shoulder, trying to calm the man down with a smile. "Yes, we thank you for taking good care of our Jenna,"

"Curtain! If I had been there at the time, I would have done the same as you, too" Ortega said.

Amidst the crowd, Kamila came with a serious face. "I never thought that a feral would appear during the day. Two victims, that's a lot! Both had bite wounds. Right, Adrian?"

Adrian nodded. "Jenna saw it too,"

"I think it's getting dangerous for you guys especially, for you, Jenna," Kamila said. "At the dance, I'll give each of you a shotgun to keep watch."

"For Volkov and Ortega, you can use your fangs to destroy any feral that may come. There's no harm in preventing it, is there?" kamila Sahut.

Before long, Adrian came with a suitcase and followed by Zac and Artemis behind him. Give the suitcase to Kamila.

Kamila opened the suitcase and threw a similar shotgun like Adrian to Jenna. "There are two days you can use for shooting practice. Adrian, teach him,"

"Why should he? Why don't I just teach him?" ortega protests.

"If you can make good use of two days, you can teach him to shoot. But the reality is, we can't hold the sun too long on the roof. If you just want to see it, go ahead. I'm not forbidding you to see your lover" Kamila replied calmly. "You could use a rifle before?"

Ortega. "Shit! I can't, but I'm gonna keep an eye on this jerk for two days!"

"I don't forbid drama here, but I don't want you to be divided over this love-drama issue. Understood?" ask Kamila sharply.

They also nodded slowly.

Then, Kamila rushed off while inviting Zac to come with her. "Follow me! There's something you need to learn about this!"

Zac glanced for a moment at Jenna and then, he followed Kamila from behind.
