HMV - Chapter 10

For almost a month, Jenna always took Ortega and Volkov to the restaurant, where she worked. Mr. Klaus did not ban them at the restaurant. The middle-aged man actually benefited from the presence of the two handsome men in his restaurant.

"You want to take them again? Hahaha, please, Jenna. I've even set up a booth if anyone wants to capture their handsome face" said Mr. Klaus.

Jenna only smiled faintly when she heard her boss speak. Then he looked at the two men who were looking at him while smiling.

"Do you want to come?" ask Jenna.

Both Ortega and Volkov nodded simultaneously. They both love to smell the human body. Volkov did too. Although, they know they can not prey on these humans, but to see it they are quite happy.

Similarly, Ortega, for almost a month, he did not ask for blood rations on Jenna. The girl was worried too. Sometimes, he glanced at Ortega to make sure that the male vampire was okay.

His face was pale, it looked even more pale. His eyes became pitch black and deep. If we look into Ortega's eyes, it's like we're going to get sucked into a forest and a very dark world.

One day, the restaurant where Jenna worked suddenly held a meeting. Jenna asks Ortega and Volkov to follow her.

"You remember the restaurant, right? If you are confused or unsure, you can ask passers-by, just ask Shucker Restaurant. They will tell you. You can do it, right?" ask Jenna. He was really not sure if the two men had successfully completed his mission this time.

"Alright, alright! Just wait till I finish the meeting. I'll pick you up! I'll walk first. Lock the door tightly, Volkov!" jenna and she rushed away.

Volkov and Ortega looked at each other. "Is the meeting that important? He forgot to give us food,"

Ortega nodded weakly. He dragged his steps and laid his body on the sofa, where he used to sleep. "Hey, how would it feel if you were lost from this world?"

"Why are you saying that?" ask Volkov. "Thanks to the man, we are close. If we were still in the woods, I think we'd kill each other,"

Ortega smiles. "He's a miracle that's happened in my life. I don't know since when, I don't want to lose that man,"

"Have you forgotten Artemis? He risked his life to save you" Volkov asked. "After all, there is a prohibition that we cannot fall in love with humans. We have to defend our ancestral lines,"

"Yes, I know. The artemis? I don't know. Ever since my encounter with that human, the shadow of Artemis has faded from my life" Ortega replied. His eyes were empty and distant.

Suddenly their silence was broken by the arrival of a black shadow that simply entered into Zella's house.

"Ortega!" exclaimed the black shadow that now changed into the figure of the beautiful woman.

Ortega tried to change his form. "Damn it! Volkov, my power's gone!"

Volkov faced the woman and blocked her approach to Ortega. "Who are you?"

"You forgot me?" ask the woman. Before long, she changed her form again into a female vampire with fangs poking out between her mouth.

"A-, Artemis?" sahut Ortega's.

Volkov stepped out from in front of Ortega. Artemis smiled thanking the werewolf. "I came here to save you,"

"Save us?" ask Ortega. "From what? It was your father who cursed and threw me into this place. Then you saved me from your own father?"

"My father will lift your curse. And that human girl, we've secured. If my father has revoked your curse, you can regain your power, dear Ortega and we can return to our home world" replied Artemis, he flinched spoiled at Ortega who was now in a sitting position.

He looked at Artemis with his cruel gaze. "What do you mean secured? That man did nothing wrong, in fact, he saved me and gave me food as well as shelter! Where is he now?"

Ortega stood up and rushed out to look for Jenna. But then he thought, Jenna is meeting, Artemis will not know where Jenna is.

However, his worries resurface when Volkov tells him that Jenna is indeed with Vlad and one of the fortune tellers of his people. "He was arrested on the way and now he is with your King and my people,"

Ortega attacked Artemis with the rest of his power. "Say where he is! If anything happens to him, I will fight your father, Artemis! It's not just a threat or a figment!"

Ortega pulls Volkov's hand. "Take me there!"

Volkov nodded and in an instant, the two of them disappeared and were in a magnificent mansion filled with shades of red and black.

"They're here, Vlad," said the Indian woman named Zella as she sniffed out the arrival of Ortega and Volkov.

Zella walked over to her sleeping captive and was bound by an invisible rope. "Do we wake him up?"

Vlad can smell the arrival of the two creatures that caused his descent to the earth, then he smiled. "No need. You must know the purpose of their arrival here, right? They want us to free this man,"

Vlad and Ortega appear before Vlad. "Where is that human?"

With his eyes, Vlad made Jenna soar and fall on a pole. The girl's body was still tied and asleep.

"Jenna!" ortega and Volkov.

"I'll take my curse and come back with my daughter, Ortega. I will give you my power" Vlad said.

Ortega looked at Vlad. "That's never gonna happen!"

Vlad flicked his finger and woke Jenna up. One deep breath made Jenna wake up.

"Ortega? Volkov's? Aaaarrgghh, I'm late for the meeting and uugh! Ughhhh! Whatisthis? Where am I?" jenna asked, she was trying to move her body. However, the bond that bound his body was perfect. "Why am I tied up? What'sthis?"

"They caught up with you just to save you. If you're that good, ...." Vlad shook his hand, causing Ortega to slam into the wall and fall down.

"Uughhhh!" his erang.

"Ortega!" Volkov was about to attack Vlad and avenge his actions. However, Volkov was unable to move. Both of his legs were on the floor. "eeg! I can't move!"

"What are you doing! Who're you?" jenna asked and the bond in her body was released. The ropes floated and bound Ortega's body.

"I want to see how much you have power, Man!" vlad grinned widely.

Zella just appeared out of nowhere. "Avoid his blood or you're controlled by him, Vlad!"

With an invisible weapon, he made Ortega scream in pain. The weapon left Ortega's clothes torn apart and blood soon flowed from his body. "Aarray!"

"Stop!" Jenna ran forward and spread her arms to protect Ortega. "Stop! You have no right to hit or torture him!"

"Then save him, man!" vlad's terrible laughter echoed throughout the house.

Jenna took a step back until her body almost stuck to Ortega. "Hissap my blood and fight him, Ortega!"

"No!" ortega said firmly.

Jenna tore off his shirt and gave his neck to Ortega. "Hissap my blood!"

"Ka-, are you sure?" ask Ortega.

Jenna nodded steadily. "Hurry now!"

Without being ordered three more times, Ortega immediately stuck her fangs in Jenna's neck and took a voracious sip of the girl's blood. Once satisfied, he looked at Vlad wildly. "You are my opponent now, Your Majesty!"
