Volkov and Ortega immediately pulled Jenna back and away. Kamila tried to hold off Zac who was about to attack. However, as soon as he looked at the people around him, his consciousness slowly recovered. "A-, what's going on? Where am I?"

"You're at Kamila's house, Zac and do you remember me?" jenna asked, she dared herself to come forward and stand before Zac.

As soon as Jenna approached, Zac again pulled out his fangs and growled. "Rrrrr! I'm hungry!"

Kamila asks Ortega to take Jenna out of the room until Zac calms down. However, instead of being calm, Zac shook Kamila's hand and ran away.

"Zacs!" peekkik Jenna and Artemis.

The two girls ran after Zac. However, Zac ran very fast. "Argh, this house is too big! Where is he?"

"If he's a vampire, he'll hide from the heat. There was no way he would hide in a place that was exposed to sunlight. There are only two possibilities, a bathroom and a barn," replied Artemis. "That's what I'm gonna do to hide. You, look in the bathroom and I'll look for him in the barn!"

Jenna nodded steadily, her two eyes sharp, and full of determination. His courage seemed to increase by a hundred percent, not to mention the girl's fighting soul which also grew bigger.

"Zacs!" Jenna opens the bathroom downstairs, but there's no Zac in there.

He kept calling Zac while looking for another bathroom. "Zacs! It's me, you don't have to be afraid!"

Slowly, Zac emerged from the other bathroom. Both of his eyes were still red and his face looked dazed. "What's going on? I'm so hungry,"

Jenna took some distance while standing with him. "You still remember me, Zac?"

"Jenna's? What's going on, Jen?" ask Zac. "I think my body is so weird,"

"That's normal, you're a vampire now, Zac. You all right? What are you feeling?" jenna asked, slowly approaching Zac. "I'm sorry, I made you this way. I didn't know Alena was a vampire like Ortega. He's got your blood sucked and he's done it with no intention of harming you" Jenna said. Now, the girl was standing right in front of Zac.

Zac watched his hands, held his face, examined the parts of his body he could see and touch. "You know, that's cool, Jen. I feel like a superhero who was just born. I could hear the water droplets, the sound of Alena calling me, the sound of your breathing, I could smell the people who were in the basement, and I admit you smell so good, Jen. In fact, my eyes can see sharply! It's cool, but I'm hungry. So hungry!"

"You need to be able to control your hunger, Zac. You're a newborn vampire" Jenna said, glad to see Zac not being the terrible monster that Baron and Amstel feared this morning. "Come, we're going back to the basement!"

Zac nodded. Jenna took her best friend's hand and held it tight. Zac's usual hands were warm, now ice-cold. 'I will protect you, Zac and I will be the warmest for you.' Jenna said in her heart.

They both returned to the basement. As they walked, Artemis came and immediately embraced Zac. "Sorry! I'm sorry, Zac. It's all my fault" said the woman, crying.

According to the story of Artemis, she originally intended to kiss Zac. However, he was hungry and once Artemis' kisses hit Zac's neck, he accidentally pulled out his fangs and slammed them into Zac's neck. He was unable to control his hunger at that moment.

"Just calm. I'm still alive" Zac said casually. He calmed Artemis by giving her a wide grin on her handsome face that still looked pale.

When they reached the basement, Kamila asked them all to leave the room. "There's something I have to teach your friend, like how to control his hunger, and what he has to avoid in order to stay afloat,"

"Other than garlic and the sun, is there more?" ask Jenna.

Kamila nodded. "Yes, you can meet us in about twenty minutes. Right now, get some rest,"

Meanwhile, Kamila provided a room for her guests. Adrian drove them to the room. "Ah, for you not here, Miss. Please, follow me,"

Jenna's not flinching. "I can be with them here. Don't bother,"

Adrian stared intently at Jenna. "You are so loud! You're human, aren't you? Aren't you afraid of them? It's daytime, they'll definitely choose to sleep,"

"I used to live with them! I'm not afraid, after all, they used to work during the day like humans! I'm just here!" exclaim Jenna sharp.

Adrian clenched both his hands in annoyance. "Just "Follow! I don't know what Miss Sayeed will tell you, but she told me to separate you!"

"Tell your Miss Sayeed, we've always been together and all this time, nothing dangerous" Ortega said.

Impatiently, Adrian locks the room where Ortega and Volkov are, and he pulls Jenna's hand, forcing the girl to come with him. He put Jenna in a room not far from Ortega's. "Wait here! After this Miss Sayeed will meet you, and don't go anywhere!"

"Curtain! You're just a messenger it turns out!" sindir Jenna riled up. The girl was upset that Adrian forced her into a separate room with her lover and friend.

Adrian corners Jenna and throws one hand against the wall above Jenna's head. "So what you say, little girl! I did this for one purpose!"

"Yes, eternal life and wealth" Jenna replied. Those words just glided without him noticing. He can feel what Adrian Renees wants.

Again, Adrian hit the wall tight, until his fist was injured. "Not to interfere! I don't know what you are, but I'm warning you not to interfere in my business!"

"No one's meddling in your business. Everything that's on you, yells out loud to me." Jenna replied casually.

"Weird Girl!" adrian and he hurried away.

However, Jenna catches Adrian's injured hand. "Your hand must be healed before it gets worse, it's bruised,"

Inside the room, there was a small refrigerator and Jenna opened the freezer and picked up one canned drink, then she compressed Adrian's knuckle. "Other times if you want to go berserk, don't hit the wall, just rub all the walls,"

"Curtain! Don't interfere!" adrian said again. But his face was red.

Once in enough taste, Jenna let go of Adrian's hand. "Kamila Sayeed, what does she want from me? Do you have any leaks about that?"

"You're special and my lady is interested in you. Perhaps, he wants to form his own clan and invite you to join him." replied Adrian. There was jealousy in his voice.

Jenna nodded. "Unfortunately, I've bonded with someone else,"

"Baron and Amstel. Rightly so? What did you exchange?" Kamila suddenly enters the room and joins Jenna and Adrian. "What friends? I can ensure your safety, as long as you join me, Little Miss. How's it?"
