HMV - Chapter 20

"One scallop risotto, ready! Two lamb steaks, ready! One Japanese curry, ready!" said a girl from behind the kitchen.

Two waitres walked, took the food that was ready to be served beautifully. Before long, the girl spoke out again. "Three Japanese curry for table 5!"

"Ready!" yell at the other.

A handsome man with blue eyes, as blue as the sky ruffled the girl's hair. "Today you're so excited, Jen,"

"of course! Today is the 30th of the month and mr. Klaus has promised me to give me an extra salary if my cooking is superior to yours, Zac," Jenna replied with a sweet smile.

The man named Zac looked at the girl with an envious look. "Is the old man really saying that to you? Not just entertainment so you're excited? Ahaha!"

Jenna pulled out her phone and showed Zac a picture. "Look, if he breaks his promise, I won't hesitate to sue him!"

"Haha! You're really brave, Jen. After this, accompany me for the night" Zac asked. Now he began to busy serving curry sauce on the plate.

"Three Japanese curry, ready!" jenna again. "Maybe, but you're the deal? How's it?"

The girl's mischievous smile made Zac smile and nodded cheerfully. "Maybe!"

Meanwhile in a very dark royal castle, a man was staring wryly towards an invisible forest.

"Ortega, why do you always look so moody? Aren't you happy we're back at our place?" asked a black-robed woman who wrapped her two arms around the man's waist.

Roughly speaking, a man named Ortega let go of the woman's hand. "I told you, don't you ever touch me again, Artemis!"

"You really don't know thank you, Ortega! I saved you from the human world and the human girl's magic snare, but, look at your reply now! I didn't even get a thank you from you!" artemis hatch. He felt insulted and offended by Ortega's treatment of him.

Ortega looked at the woman with his two red beads, he gripped Artemis face violently. "Do you know what about me and the human world I'm running? Remember, it's only temporary!"

"You should be thankful that I brought you back, Ortega! You can go back to hunting and sniffing the human blood you met here! Whereas in that world, you were just begging for a drop of blood from that damn girl!" reply Artemis upset. His breath hunted and his lips pursed.

"I will not be grateful! I fell in love with her, even though she only gave me a drop of her blood! Is there something wrong with that? He opened my eyes, if the world is wide and light, it is not dark like this! Understand!" ortega. He slammed down a stick he could reach back then and walked away leaving Artemis alone.

The man went down into the dark forest, not to hunt. I don't know since when, he wasn't so interested in human blood. Ortega is attracted to one human girl, Jenna Lake.

Some time ago in the human world,

Artemis made a pact with Jenna. The deal they made was only to save a weak man named Zac. Jenna, who had no idea how much power Artemis had lost and according to the agreement, Artemis took back Ortega and brought him back to their world.

At that time, Ortega had given a warning to Jenna not to accept the agreement. However, the human girl insisted and kept making a pact with Artemis.

"I can handle it. You just calm down and please find Volkov. I don't want to wear this necklace to call her, I'm afraid the dimensional gate is back open" Jenna said.

Ortega shook his head. "I'm not leaving you, Jenna. I'll help you,"

Jenna shook her head as well. His eyes were so clear that Ortega could not see the bead that had turned purple. "With you calling Volkov, you've already killed me, Ortega,"

"If you lose, you can lose everything, Jenna. Please, don't torture me like this" Ortega asked.

Instead of smacking and swearing as usual, this time Jenna hugged the vampire man. "If I win, I want to tell you something. Therefore, help me find Volkov, he knows how to help me,"

Ortega holds Jenna stronger. He didn't want to let go of that hug. "Please promise me you'll survive, Jenna. I'll be right back. Oh, this, .... Accept it. It's my lucky charm."

The vampire man pinned a purple stone ring to Jenna's ring finger and it was very snug on her finger.

"Oh, please Ortega, I'm afraid! Get Volkov for me! Ahahaha! You Weak Man! Fight me, don't dodge!" according to Artemis, she mocked Jenna and made a voice that Jenna thought was disgusting.

Suddenly, the light that came out of Artemis' hands grew larger. Jenna was hit hard because the red light that had just joined it made Artemis power increase.

But not happy. Artemis was furious and angry. "Dad, this is my fight! You don't have to help me!"

"You can run out of your strength and strength. The creature was not human, just look at the bead of his eyes that kept changing color!" said the black figure who helped Artemis.

"I'll take the energy from that human! Don't bother me, Dad! Go!" artemis again.

While Artemis was off guard, Jenna shot a silvery beam from her hand. "Eergghhh! Die, you female cat!"

His shot hit Artemis' chest. The woman fell down with a voice that satisfied Jenna's sense of hearing. "Ughhh!"

The woman's father ran towards her fallen daughter. "Artemis, Son!" and then, she looked wrathfully at Jenna. "You, you jerk! Accept this!"

The man shot the light blindly and in all directions. He doesn't care who, right now the focus is on killing Jenna.

Jenna kept dodging and dodging the shot without being able to fight back. As Jenna begins to weaken, Ortega and Volkov arrive.

"You must defeat Artemis for the deal to end, Jenna! I'll take on Vlad, you focus on Artemis!" ortega said, he counterattacked Vlad with all the power he had.

"You dare to stand against your king, Ortega?" ask Vlad.

Ortega squinted his eyes and threw Vlad away. "Yes, I dare to fight you! That man is now my life and death!"

Meanwhile, Volkov tries to wake Artemis up. "If you give up on losing, then the deal is over!"

Artemis opened her eyes and she immediately floated up. "I won't let that man defeat me!"

He attacked Jenna again. Volkov was on Jenna's side, but he didn't help. He was only giving advice to the human girl. "Sorry I can't help you, Jenna. It's your fight and you have to finish it,"

Jenna nodded steadily. "Yes, I get it!"

One shot of Jenna hit Artemis' shoulder and the woman again groaned in pain. "Aarghhhh! Goddamn bum!"

Not to be outdone, Artemis gathered all her strength and with her palm, she let out a considerable reddish glow.

Jenna, who was overwhelmed, tried to survive. He fortified himself with a purplish light that shot out from his palm as well.

Seeing the situation and conditions are not possible, Volkov asked Jenna to think quickly. "Jenna, listen to me! You will not win against Artemis. His energy right now is huge, while you're already overwhelmed. You're just human, Jenna."

"Whatchu mean? I won't let Ortega go, Volkov! Keep this my secret, ... Eerrghhh! Goddamnit!" jenna's sweat began to wet her body, the girl's face was already getting pale and colorless. "Me, ... Likes Ortega!"

"You're going to die! I will divert Artemis, and you surrender! I don't want you to die, Jenna! There's still that human guy! You must save him as you promise!" tukas Volkov.

"You'll forget everything, Jenna. But, I'm grateful, I was able to meet you and thank you for all the adventures you gave us!" volkov whispered as Jenna's rays weakened.

After hearing Volkov's vague speech, Jenna fell unconscious.
