HMV - Chapter 19

"Jenna, where's your friend? He hasn't been in in a few days! Is he sick?" ask Mr. Klaus one day.

Ever since Zac took Artemis and Vlad from Jenna's house, he's been lost in the earth. Jenna knocked on her apartment door several times. But there is always no answer. In fact, he was once expelled by security officers for being too noisy and considered disturbing other residents.

"Well, if the occupant of room 177 does not answer my call, naturally, dong if I am worried something happened to him! Why did you forbid me to break down the door?" jenna said at that time to the security officer who happened to see Jenna's action was about to break down the door of Zac's room.

The security officer smiled disdainfully. "This young master, just doesn't want to meet you, Miss. The proof is, she always comes out with her cats,"

"really? When's it? Morning, noon, or night?" jenna.

Jenna snorted annoyedly. "Damn it!"

The conclusion that Jenna got that day was that Zac was in fine shape. Perhaps, she still wanted to calm herself down or she was looking to become a rock, who was just friends with herself and her cats.

"Hey, they're not cats, are they? You made them like that!" ortega said as Jenna tried to get her bad thoughts about Zac out of her head.

Jenna's heart stopped beating. True too, those cats were vampires who somehow turned into a cat. "Aarrggh! At times like this we need Volkov! That one werewolf, really doesn't feel at home. She's always traveling and looking for something I don't know,"

"Have you ever seen a wolf sitting or lying down? It was his habit to hunt or find something that he thought would threaten his habitat" Ortega replied in a pretentious style.

"Ah, maybe so, yeah. So, what about our Zac? What could have happened to Zac if he had continued with Artemis and Vlad. Could they foam back and suck Zac until he's dried like a cracker? That's impossible, isn't it?" ask Jenna. His bad thoughts were getting rampant wildly.

The girl's fears and worries were not unreasonable. Vlad and Artemis are vampires who can change at any time and if they are hungry, they can finish off Zac for their dinner.

Jenna could only hope, Artemis and Vlad would be like Ortega who could not suck human blood, other than her blood. Then, Jenna suddenly remembered something. He hasn't fed the cats since Volkov took them from Zella.

"What happens when your people go hungry?" jenna asked Ortega.

"Death!" answered Ortega.

Jenna breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm calm now. We haven't fed those cats since they came home,"

Ortega's suddenly changed face, making Jenna worry again. "Can't calm down, their strength is still the same as when they became vampires. In the form of cats alone, they can hypnotize Zac. That stupid man must still be in Vlad and Artemis' control,"

"really? Then, how should we do?" ask Jenna.

"We have to break Vlad and Artemis' influence on Zac and I don't know how!" ortega is serious.

A death blow was directed at him. "You're such a fool!"

A few days after that, Jenna noticed something strange about the stray cats around her house.

They gathered at Jenna's house and kept staring at her. Not only that, but they also follow wherever Jenna goes. At first, Jenna thought they were asking for food. However, when Jenna feeds them, they neglect their food.

"What's going on? Does this have anything to do with Zac?" jenna asked more of herself.

That afternoon, after work, he took the time to go to Zac's apartment accompanied by Ortega.

"The cats!" ortega.

"Do you have the same thoughts as me? They're like being ruled by the Cat King?" jenna asked looking suspiciously at the cats.

Ortega asks Jenna to stop. "Stop for a second. They're really just staring at you, Jen. It's so weird,"

They continue their journey until they arrive at Zac's apartment. Again they were ignored by the now mysterious man.

Not tired of the bell. Jenna knocked on the door while continuing to call out Zac's name. "Zacs! Open the door or I'm really gonna break your door!"

"Zacs! Whoi! You're not dead, are you?" jenna again.

He shook his head at Ortega. Zac did not pick up the call or answer the message at all. In fact, he did not open the door for them. "Eerrghhhh! Fucking cat!"

Suddenly, the cats that had followed Jenna meowed nonstop. Jenna and Ortega closed their ears. "Stop!"

"How do I tell them to stop meowing?" ask Jenna in despair.

"You must be witches, and they will obey you" Ortega replied.

Hearing Ortega's reply, Jenna focused her attention on turning her two manics into purple chakrna, so she could stop these cats.

All the effort he made, however, there was no change and both his eyeballs were still brownish green.

"I know!" Ortega came closer to Jenna and kissed her lips wildly.

Jenna was going to push Ortega. However, instead of pushing, he draped his arms around Ortega's shoulders.

Sure enough, the color of the girl's eyes had now turned red and purple. Ortega gave up his kiss. "You ready?"

Jenna nodded but a moment later, she pulled on Ortega's clothes and smeared the man's lips with heat. "Huh! What a change!" saith.

The girl crouched down and met the cats. "It turns out they were hypnotized from sound waves. The power of Vlad and Artemis has returned, meaning Zac, ...."

Ortega and Jenna kicked at Zac's apartment door so hard that it fell open and Zac was there.

Both of Zac's hands were tied up, his face looked pale and he looked very limp. "Zacs!"

A white cat greeted them. Quickly, the cat changed into a beautiful woman with red lips. "Oh, little Jenna is looking for her best friend. Too bad, poor Zac it's just an empty body sleeve. He's heartbroken. Heartbroken man, it smells bad. Just like a lump of meat that was stored for too long! But at the very least, the Zac energy we can use to recover our strength, hahaha!"

Jenna came forward and immediately pulled the woman's dark black hair. "You Cowardly Vampires who only dare to fight weak humans! Fight me!"

The beautiful woman snorted. "How about we bet?"

"What's your bet?" challenge Jenna.

"If you lose, Ortega comes back with me and I'll return the weak man to you, but if I lose, I will return to my world and close the portal of my world. How's it?" ask the woman.

The woman's fingers pulled out a red glow. Jenna immediately saw her finger, on Jenna's finger there was a purple light that shimmered.

"No, Jenna! Never deal with a female vampire! They're sneaky!" ortega.

"If he breaks his promise, I'll go after him! Even to the hottest hell I face! Artemis, make your promise!" sahut Jenna's.

Artemis smiled at her. She took Jenna's hand and stuck it to her own. Purple rays and red rays met, the promise between them was already bound.
