Chapter 4. The World of Day and Night bag. 1

Outside the building was still waiting for the dozens of dark wolves that surrounded them. The night was not over yet and these frightening conditions did not leave them. But, the situation inside the building was no less frightening. Because in the end, the people inside the building realized that they were in a mystery.

“How could the thing that you have with the thing that we have 100% exactly like this” Ryou was so panicked that he couldn't stop asking

“What do you mean?” The young man stared intently at the two

Kino listens to Ryou who protests but does not deny it because it is true. They're in a very dangerous place. The pocket watch also seemed to be one other source of trouble for the brother. Because in addition to their shape similar to that of the young man before them, the words the young man spoke while showing his pocket watch also made Kino curious.

The young man only looked at the pocket watches of the two teenagers. It was slightly older than the one he had but still looked like one of the same kind. For the young man his pocket watch is an important ‘key’ so he can get out of the current situation. But he did not give an explanation of the questions of the two of them. The sore wound made him lazy to say long and complicated things.

“Why just shut up?” Ryou asked somewhat annoyedly. But, finally the irritation disappeared instantly as he realized the person before him was so badly injured that he almost died before. Finally he forgot his emotions and changed with a look of pity.

The young man was seen enduring the pain but forced himself to look at the pocket watch he had in his hand. A thin smile could be seen from her pale-colored lips while saying the sentence in a relieved tone.

Hearing the words of the young man who looked smiling while enduring the pain made Kino and Ryou startled and curious. They looked towards the pocket watch on Kino's hand and it was true that the direction of the time changed. This time the clockwise direction indicates a change in time, moving fifteen minutes from the time indicated by their previous pocket watch. Kino's hands were slightly sweaty and trembling seeing the change in the pocket watch.

“Change again? Earlier this hour was 05:30 and now it is 05:45. How is it possible?”

It is no wonder they were surprised. Clearly visible on that pocket watch, the needle showing the seconds does not change but only on the needle showing the clock and the minutes that change. On the other hand, the young man held his pocket watch in a clock face up position and could be seen by them. They were shocked because the time the other pocket watches showed turned out to be the same as theirs.

“Time is the same. Why is it like this? What is–”

Unfinished Kino continued her words, the next surprise for them came. From the window that was on the side of the building, suddenly something barged in. The glass window was broken into pieces of various sizes followed by the appearance of the object that became the surprise in question. The frightened faces of the three could not be hidden as the shock turned out to be four dark wolf tails that entered and were already before them again.

The three of them immediately stood up. Kino helped prop up the injured young man's body to stand up. None of them tried to hide their fear. Not only Kino, Ryou and the young man also appeared to be in a state of shock. The young man muttered in a tone as if disappointed.

“But there are fifteen minutes left. Only if it can wait for sunrise fifteen more minutes will all be fine.”.

“Waiting for another fifteen minutes sun? Can we really survive?” Kino who clearly heard the words of the young man she supported asked with a hint of hope

“Sun will rise at 06:00. As long as it hasn't shown that time, that dark wolf won't let us go until we're completely dead. This is the last chance to bet on luck”

“But it seems like luck is really happy to give an unpleasant surprise” with a disappointed smile, the young man sounded so resigned.

The lucky level of the young man had actually already reached the red line. How not, without a weapon on hand and suffering from a wound that did not stop bleeding, he was currently waiting for the dark wolf before him to attack. The only luck that worked on him was when he was helped by the young man who suddenly appeared. Destiny is very touching but also very cruel.

When the atmosphere becomes very tense, Ryou refuses to give up on the situation. He took a step forward and asked his brother to back off.

“Kino, step back and take care of the guy. We can't keep going like this. Out there, their friends must have been waiting for us. I heard what that guy said just now. Just waiting for the sun to rise in fifteen minutes, right?. I'll work something out. I refuse to be a wild dog food”

“Ryou, what will you do?”

The moment the wolf jumped up and attacked, he immediately swung the glass and managed to give a wound on the dark wolf's front leg.

The next attack was also quite successful. After the movement of the first wolf had stopped due to the attack on his leg, not long after the other wolf advanced and with a rotating movement Ryou managed to hit his left eye. The sharp scratches that made the wolf finally let out a voice of pain.

On the other hand, Kino and the young man saw Ryou who was fighting but was still in a state of panic. The young man tried to stand on his own without the help of the teenager who supported him.

“Are you sure you can stand alone?. Let me help–”

“It's okay” the young man cut out the words of the teenager who was about to help him stand up. Although his body was still trembling, he managed to stand up and said to the teenager beside him "we cannot let your friend face the dark wolf itself. Sooner or later the others will definitely get in here. We need a plan”

“But, with such serious injuries–”

“Listen to me, if left alone your friend will be hurt in a moment.  Those dark wolves wouldn't die just from the attack from the broken glass. Your friend won't last long. Before he ends up more miserable than I am, I have to help him. And you should also think of a plan to get out of this situation!"

The words the young man spoke were a blow to Kino. He could not imagine what if his sister was really injured. What to do to help him had not crossed his mind at all. His palms became very cold and sweaty from fear.

Kino looked around to find something that could be used as a weapon but nothing but broken glass scattered about. Although there may be something that can be worn as held by Ryou but his ability in terms of sports and martial arts is not as good as his sister.

“Think of the best way. The time that we have less than 15 minutes” the injured young man began to walk slowly a little away from the teenager who was with him.

Trying to endure the pain of the sweat wound, the young man tried to convince the teenager to calm down.

“I can guess that this situation is the worst situation you and your friend have ever experienced in life, but try to calm down. It is not easy to trust a newly encountered person in such a dangerous situation but all that is not important. Ryou begins to have trouble dealing with the movements of the wolves that surround him. “Aaakh...” Ryou shouted and tried to endure the pain. The impressive thing he did was that he kept the weapon in his hand so as not to fall. It was still arguably impressive for someone who was good at sports but never once faced a real life-and-death fight like this.

“Ryou!!!” Kino who saw that shouted with a panicked face

“There is no more time. We bet for ten minutes our chance of life. Think of a way to escape the four dark wolves in this room.”

The young man began to force himself to run while picking up a few shards of glass that were on the floor simultaneously. Although severely injured, the movements made by the young man were very professional like people who were used to fighting with bad situations. Normally others would die if moving with battered bodies so. It showed that the young man's ability was above average.

The dark wolf who was still making an attack after successfully injuring his opponent saw many gaps and started jumping.

When their position was over Ryou's head, the young man threw the glass shards he was holding and managed to make three of them hurt to fall, while the other one managed to dodge and immediately changed his target target to be that young man. The young man was quite skilled at throwing and was evidenced by the next throw towards the wolf that ran towards him.

For some reason, the words Ryou spoke inwardly were like praise and humiliation at the same time. But his facial expression could not lie. He was amazed at the movement the young man made.

As the young man ran, Kino, who was standing some distance away from the fighting position, saw him pick up a lot of broken glass scattered on the floor without stopping running. Ordinary people cannot do that. Very fast and calculating but very accurate. He also could not take his eyes off when he saw the injured young man fighting.

‘The injuries will keep opening every time he moves and he knows that too. But he made a very fast movement by minimizing the possibility of his wound widening back while enduring pain. Who is that person exactly?’

By making an analysis, Kino began to think and realize there was something strange. Kino took the pocket watch he kept and saw the time it showed it had turned to 05.55, moving ten minutes from the time indicated earlier, but the second hand had not changed at all.

‘It turns out this pocket watch does move.’

Hearing her screams, the two people who were fighting immediately looked behind where Kino was standing. A smile was seen from the young man while enduring the pain. Ryou too who was initially enduring the pain became excited. And it turned out that not only the two people became excited, the three wolves that became their opponents became even more aggressive.

Just have to wait for the sun to rise in five minutes. However, for some reason within the remaining five minutes death was also felt close. The reason for that was because not long after Kino shouted, the wolf that was fighting Ryou and the injured young man immediately turned to look for him.

“Kino, run!!!” Ryou shouted very loudly and tried to chase after the wolf that was close to Kino's standing position

The injured youth ran again while throwing some broken glass very quickly and accurately. Successfully hit one tail and the attack was continued by Ryou who thrust with broken glass that he held onto the back of the wolf's head. Not willing to waste any time, Ryou immediately stood up again and ran towards Kino.

On the other hand, Kino who had already seen those wolves coming and wanted to attack him started to think fast.

‘What should I do? The guy asked me to think of a plan but I didn't know what to think. I'm very sure that out there other wolves will also attack as soon as the door is opened..’.

Kino was silent for a moment in that unfortunate state.

‘Bobbed in...once the door was opened? Although only my estimate but worth trying’

Without a second thought, after putting back the pocket watch he was holding, he ran towards the door and tried to open the large wood that locked the door.

“What are you doing!” the injured young man ran towards the teenager in front of him. The teenager shouted back at them.

“You two heard!!. When this door is open you must quickly move to the side of this place!!”

“I ask you to think of a plan instead of telling you to kill us all! Don't do anything stupid or we'll all die before sunrise!!”

“And this is the result of the plan that was thought by me”

But no time, Kino used the large wood to hit the fallen wolves from colliding with each other. Because the wood was quite large and heavy, with the power it had indeed could not be too strong to hit. However, it was enough to injure the heads of those wolves.

The opportunity was also taken advantage of by both people from the side. At first, they were shocked as soon as the door opened and saw the wolf pack jumping in. As soon as he saw the herd collide and fall they finally advanced to attack. At least in the desperate and full-blown plan, three tail was successfully injured by a wooden blow from Kino and another one was successfully killed again by the young man.

At the last seconds just before Ryou wanted to strike back, there was the sound of the clock clanging. A clock they didn't see anywhere even while running in the city when chased by the wolves. The sound of the clock was so loud that it was clearly visible to the altar building. The sun finally rises from the east. Warm light came in from the roof and windows.

Instantly somehow, all those wolf herds vanished without a remnant and not just that. How shocked the two brothers were when they saw so many people who out of nowhere appeared and passed

relaxing in the altar. They laughed, prayed, and ran as if nothing had ever happened.

It was even more shocking when looking at the previously broken window as the wolves barging in now turned back like they had never been broken.

“Wrong disappeared? How could? Why suddenly appear a lot of people here?”

No less surprised by Kino, Ryou finally shouted in a loud voice until heard by everyone there.

“What....what really happened!!. Why is it like this?”

Everyone looked towards the two. Embarrassed, Ryou finally covered his mouth with a red face and apologized. As he closed his mouth, he realized that the glass shards in his hand were still there. Everything that happened before is real.

Kino also realized that he was still holding the big wooden door. There is no doubt that all the events they just experienced were real. Kino puts the wood on the floor and goes out with Ryou.

When out of the building, they were immediately presented with an amazing view. The city is very lively and crowded. Many people pass by, trade, laugh as if the danger they are experiencing is just a nightmare they are experiencing themselves.

“While there was no one last night. This place is so quiet as a ghost town. What happened?”

“I don't know. This obviously makes no sense. This is no longer a dream. Ryou, how's your wound?” Kino looks at Ryou's right arm that was injured from the previous wolf attack.

“Lost? Your wound is gone?”
