Chapter 32. A World with Possibilities
Kino and Ryou who were still staying at the stairs only saw the figure of the child disappearing.
“Did I say the wrong thing? Why would he run like that? You little boy don't know thank you!” Ryou was furious with a pouting face
“Maybe he was surprised to be asked like that by you, Ryou. But, are you sure he's the kid that just this morning accidentally bumped into the two of us at the altar?”
“Which I may have forgotten! He and his friends were standing in front of the altar this morning”
Ryou. His eyes instantly turned sharp for a moment. His eyes were not without meaning. It was because he thought of something that was quite disturbing to his mind. But when he heard her call, he immediately acted as if everything was okay. He also showed me the clock he had just bought. Another vintage silver pocket watch. It was different from their pocket watches which of course had strange powers, but Ryou basically bought this to know the time.
“I bought this watch to be a reference for us. At least, we can know the rest of the time we have until the repetition arrives”
“So. Then let's keep that clock, Ryou. I think now we can focus on finding our pocket watches back. And..” Kino looked at the bag of bread he brought and said “....please me to buy these breads again. I gave three pieces to the boy earlier” . Ryou could only faintly smile and they left that place.
At least Ryou has not felt well since meeting the boy.
‘Why did he run away when I asked him?. Isn't that weird?’

Kaito began to enter the altar building. He began to look at every corner and side of the place. Unlike this morning, the place was not so crowded during the day. Only people who want to travel and enjoy the architecture of the place come. Kaito muttered in his heart as he looked at the place.
‘Nothing is strange. It's like the first time I came here’
Kaito's purpose in coming there is to find out about the strange path and his relationship with the children he meets.
“Based on the woman's description, the children are always in front of the entrance every morning. The child who hit me was also among them. I don't think it's wrong to ask the officer about this”
When Kaito accidentally crosses paths with a guard officer, Kaito learns that they have only been there for a week. He also heard that some children could ask for donations by going inside the altar. But he also heard something unpleasant. Rumors about the number of lost items at the altar over the past week.
“Case of loss?” Kaito asked the officer
“Absolutely. The average thing missing is a valuable thing. Lots of people filed protests and accusations that are not-no to us about it”

Kaito realized something. He began to think of something that even he himself did not think of either.
‘Case lost? I don't know if this has anything to do or not, but this morning weren't Kino and Ryou here? Is it possible if their pocket watch is also one of the missing objects in this place?’
Kaito asked in a serious tone to the guard officer.
“Sorry, did one or two teenagers come here and look for their lost belongings?. For example, a pocket watch or something?”
Kaito was actually betting with that thought. It was just that if he was right, it should have been the answer according to what he thought.
“Ah, no. Two teenage boys came by this afternoon. They seem to be looking for the same pocket watch. But, we still do not get a report about the object as well as other objects”
“So. Thank you very much for the help”
Without asking any more, Kaito immediately turned around and left the place. The conclusion Kaito took from the guard's explanation was that there was a possibility that the pocket watch was lost while at the altar. And regarding the relationship of the group of children with the road it still has to be dug deeper, but it can wait.
“Now I have an idea of their pocket watch. I think I should find those two brothers to make sure something”
Kaito ran down the stairs to the streets of the city.

Behind the bar in the quiet and humid area, Justin's men carried a large bag of bottle garbage and others. He took her to the dumpster that was in the back. There were not many trash bags there, so he immediately placed the bag on the back side of the bar and left it. After that, for some reason from inside the pouch looks a small light. The only visible light in the dark place seemed to be calling out for something.

Meanwhile, Justin was still waiting for news of a stranger coming to the place.
“Is there still no news about the man who used the sword without the sheath?” Justin with his face asked one of his men who was nearby
“It looks like it still hasn't, Justin-sama. The two people who are looking also have not returned”
“Basic of useless people!!. I wouldn't hesitate to kill them if they still didn't find the man. Unlike the pretentious people of the city, we are all freedom. And that freedom is me. Only I can do whatever I like in this place and I won't let a single foreign mouse into this place”

Theo just walked aimlessly now while holding onto the bread he hadn't eaten since running from the two teenagers.
“I haven't even said thank you for this one bread” Theo looks very moody
He started eating it little by little. Now, he had even slightly forgotten that he had to find money to eat them later tonight. Unlike her who had already gotten three pieces of delicious bread for free, Stelani and the others were still holding back the hunger in their place. Theo immediately finished the bread in his hand and started walking to find a way to earn money.
That afternoon, he tried everything from offering services to bring goods, ask around, become a shoemaker and other things that are usually done by Stelani and her friends while in town.
‘It won't be as fast as stealing money and gems at the altar, but at least I can get money from here’

Kaito runs to find the two brothers. Bothering indeed, looking for two people who were scattered with him. Moreover, there is still approximately five hours until sunset. All they did was go around in circles and look for something that didn't even have a clue at all.
“Where did they both go? If you know this, maybe I wouldn't suggest splitting up looking for that pocket watch. This situation is beyond my expectations. I should try to find them both”
Of course Kaito searched for them almost all the streets he knew. The diner [Ciel’s Cafe] was also one of the places he visited. And of course he didn't find it. Kaito had searched the city center and looked around all the places there with the same results. How long he's been looking for, he still doesn't know. Clearly, the more he ran the more daylight and time felt the narrower.
And so did the brothers. After they came out of the bakery to buy another loaf of bread, they immediately asked the people around about their pocket watches. Of course, it is very useless considering that it is almost impossible for anyone to ever see it. However, they try their best to do so so there are not so many choices they can make.
Unconsciously all the things that happened to the people in the city passed. In the end, the day turned into an afternoon just like that. Kino and Ryou walked over with not-so-good faces.
“In the end there is nothing we can do” Kino said with a disappointed face
“I've guessed that finding that thing within 12 hours is hard”
Ryou looks at his new pocket watch which he keeps in his pants pocket. The clock shows at half-five in the afternoon local time. At least the condition of the place with the time indicated the clock was the same.
Kino became unsure what would happen to them when the looping arrived later.
“Do you think we'll be back in the morning like today at sunset, Ryou?”
“I don't know. If you remember this incident, it looks like we will go back to the morning again. Ugh, troublesome!” Ryou started to look annoyed
“We also did not see Kaito-san along the road we went through today. It seems like Kaito-san has also searched almost all regions in this city”
“Must be! The city is wide. Had he been able to look for it though, it would have taken a very long time.The 12 hours would not have been enough. Well, but if it's possible he's looking in an important place I can still trust” Ryou spoke according to his realistic thoughts
Not long after, in front of them Kaito stood up and called out to them.
“Finally met”
The two brothers were shocked to see Kaito standing in front of him and immediately approached him.
“Kaito-san”
“Oi, where have you been?”
Kaito just sighed and asked them to come with him to a place quiet enough to talk. Kaito takes them to a residential area again and stops at a park at the place. They sat in the garden chair and Kino gave the bread in his shopping bag.
“Kaito-san, eat. We bought this for you”
“Thank you” Kaito received it and ate it
Holding the bread in his hand, Kaito began to open the conversation by asking the two of them.
“How is it progressing? Find something about your watch?”
“.....” both went silent and said nothing
“I'm sorry, actually I'm not much different from you guys”
“It wasn't Kaito-san's fault. I am the one who–”
Before Kino continued her sentence, Ryou looked at her and pretended to cough.
“Eheeem!” Ryou deliberately raised his voice
Of course it made Kino surprised and immediately closed his mouth. Ryou went back to silence and picked up the bread in the pouch that Kino was holding. Kaito continued his conversation.
“Some time ago, my mind branched out on something. Today I found many unusual things”
“What does that mean?” Ryou asks Kaito with bread in his mouth
“Hal which I think is a possibility of this ‘world noon’. Too many new things and I still don't fully understand it”
“I don't understand what you're saying, Kaito” Ryou now looks increasingly confused by Kaito's swirling talk
“This place..’this day’ world is no longer the ‘world’ I know. I just want to say you guys should be prepared with all the worst possibilities of this place right now. Including the loss of your pocket watch”
