Chapter 35. The Two Lost Worlds
Kaito gave an unpleasant look and a wry smile. He knew that the children referred to at the altar had a relationship with the child who hit the two brothers. Still the most unpleasant thing about this part is that he does not like damp, shabby places and lack of lighting. In fact, a Kaito who rarely gives strange nicknames now just follow Ryou's habits.
‘Place that is like another nightmare besides ‘world malam’. I will call that place as ‘world night’ junior or ‘world night’ beta version from now on. Seriously..besides the people there are not friendly, I feel the place is very ‘weight’. I haven't been able to figure out the meaning of that word in my mind, but there's something not right there’
Regardless of his various thoughts, a bright spot was already before his eyes now and there was no way he could have missed it.
Ryou who saw it became silent and called out to Kaito in a normal tone of voice.
“Kaito? What's up?”
“...’World night’ junior–” Kaito muttered to himself in a slow voice
“What's junior?” and Ryou is now getting confused
Hearing Ryou calling Kaito's name, Kino looked back. The two people walking behind him stopped. Of course it made him curious and approached them.
“What problem is there? Is Kaito-san still hungry?”
“Nothing. Until now I was fine. Don't worry” Kaito looks normal again even though it's not so
Kino and Ryou look at each other but they can't ask any more than this. The three were heading to the pre-planned initial gathering point of the fountain pool near the altar building.
Kaito looked at his pocket watch back and there were only fifteen minutes left. After the long thought collaboration between herself and Ryou, the remaining time remained the biggest barrier.
‘The remaining time is only fifteen minutes and if the looping that occurs does not provide an advantage for all of us, it will likely be difficult to get their pocket watch back’
Kaito who was still holding tightly to his pocket watch began to think of many things that could have happened to them when the looping arrived. Different from before, though, their repetition will return to the morning at ‘world noon’ which means they could have repeated the same mistake as this morning or something bad happened to them instead.
The three again walk with Ryou and Kaito whispering to each other.
“So you said something?” Ryou asked with a curious face
“Just suddenly my stomach is nauseous at the thought of something I didn't like recently”
“Things you don't like?”
“True. And it looks like it's a clue about your pocket watch”
“What?!” Ryou shouted
The startled Kino looked towards Ryou and asked with a worried face.
“What's up? Is everything okay?”
“A–I'm fine. My brother, you must be tired of carrying that bread bag. Here give it to me, let me take it”
Ryou frantically and hastily picked up the shopping bag from Kino and took it with him. The situation is not funny now. They were almost out of time and inevitably it forced them to run.
“There's no time, we're running now!”
Kaito who was still holding a pocket watch in his hand immediately ran over. The two brothers eventually followed him.
“Kaito-san!!” Kino yelled out to Kaito who was already in front of him
“We have to get to the fountain pool immediately. I hope that during the repetition we can still be right near the altar. Although not 100% sure but maybe your pocket watch is still with you when it”
“Kaito!! You know something?” Ryou shouted behind him
Ryou increased his speed. He who was carrying a shopping bag ran after Kaito now and left the older brother behind him.
“Oi! I've done evil to my brother now by letting him run behind me! Now tell me, you know that lead, right?” Ryou whispered while running
“The group of children lived in the slums under the stairs earlier. The child who bumped into you is also likely from that place”
“Then shouldn't we run there now?!”
“With time left we will not be able to. As I said earlier.if our repetition is still in the fountain pool then we still have a chance” said Kaito.
“Tapi–”
Before Ryou finished with his sentence, Kino who was trying to compensate them called out from behind.
“You two why? Is there something that is kept secret from me?” Kino stared with a curious look
“No, it's nothing. I'm just–” Ryou lied to cover up his conversation with Kaito
However, they had agreed that they would not tell Kino first. Ryou did not continue his sentence anymore and began to slow down his speed in order to be on par with the older brother. Before he did so he whispered to Kaito.
“You should involve me in your plan, got it? We agreed to do it. I won't let Kino find out anything dangerous and engage him”
“I know. I'll protect you both with everything I have”
“……”
“Ryou?” Kino looked at the face of her sister
She knows Ryou is not telling the truth but she chooses to be quiet and not ask more. His chest was a little tight from holding back the emotions of sadness and disappointment from feeling abandoned.
With a breath of breath they finally reached the fountain pool near the altar building again.
“This...already the umpteenth time we went here. I...maybe be bored any minute with this place” Ryou protested
“We will often go to this place until we manage to find our lost pocket watch and Kaito-san's memory piece, Ryou. You better turn that boredom into a love for this place” Kino said to Ryou with a smile on his face
Not usually Kino can slightly pull out a joke like that even if reciprocated with a wry smile unsightly by the sister who muttered in her heart.
‘I won't like this place until anytime!. If you marry later, I will tell my son and wife that the fountain pool is not a suitable place to propose to someone, remember that!!’
Ryou just likes to say all the strange things on his mind. What a unique hobby.
Kaito looked at his pocket watch again and only a few more seconds remained until the looping occurred. The two brothers also began to look tense and pray that their pocket watches will return when they return to the morning at ‘the next day’ world.

Theo walked through the dark, deserted streets without any light. Some of the buildings there are inhabited by people with makeshift lighting and some are occupied just like that without light. The terrifying atmosphere increased with the darkness of the night that began to come along with the setting of the sun. The narrow alleys there looked so frightening to the unusual to the place.
Theo passed through the simple stalls of the merchants who still held their wares even though the sun was no longer shining. Armed with one to three candles there, they still serve some people who buy their wares.
Theo just kept walking towards where Justin was accompanied by his thoughts.
‘Since when did I get used to this hell of the world? I just remember everything I did was to survive. When I first came to this city, I thought I could live a decent life like they told me. Justin is the cause of all our suffering. Had he not existed, we would not have
suffer like this’
A hateful look adorned his eyes. All the thoughts that accompany him are negative thoughts that never go away. His hatred for Justin makes all Theo does is to avenge his deeds and protect his friends.
Holding something closed in his neck collar, Theo uttered a hateful sentence.
“I will never forgive him!”

At the bar, Theo walks in surrounded by a lot of drunken unsociable people. They didn't do anything bad to Theo but their views were very unfriendly. When he wanted to enter Justin's room, he saw one of his men standing in front of a closed door.
“Stop there” the guy stopped Theo
“I want to meet gori..Justin-sama!”
“Huh?!” the man looked at Theo with a glaring look
Theo almost made himself move to the afterlife and was included in the list of inhabitants of heaven at that time. If he continued that sentence, his life would definitely end.
“Why can't I meet Justin-sama? I want to meet him quickly!!” Theo still insisted on entering
It's not because he misses Justin or because he's a fan. Theo insisted on going in because he wanted to give all the money he could to exchange for bread for his friends. At least tonight they won't starve and tomorrow they won't have to work too hard.
“I told you you can't come in!”
The tall man hit Theo to the point of falling. Best of all, the money in his pants pocket didn't fall off. Suddenly from inside came the sound of screaming and gunfire several times.

The door is wide open. From inside there came three women who only used a blanket to cover her body. Some parts of the blanket have new blood stains. Moreover, everyone inside the bar immediately stood up in panic until no one dared to move from its place. The seductresses were just crying in the corner of the room, shouting whenever the gunshots were heard.
Inside the room, Justin, wearing only jeans, sat with a gun in his hand and drenched in blood all over his body. The whole room became ‘ very beautiful’ colored fresh red paint from the blood of two dead bodies lying lifeless. Their bodies were filled with holes from top to bottom. If you look again, those who died were two people that Justin ordered to find out the man with the sword without his sword sheath earlier this afternoon.
“Basic is useless!!! How dare these street rats come back without bringing the results I want!!! Oi you trash, get these rats out of my sight now and don't try to ruin my atmosphere now!!
Justin got up from his seat and walked out. Fresh blood dripped and littered the floor of the bar. Theo who had not been able to get up after being hit by Justin's men trembled and could not move.
‘What happened actually!!!’
Only that sentence was spinning in his brain. He glanced at Justin's men and brought the two bodies together. It's obviously still new. They had just died and all that blood was still on Justin's floor. The women in the corner trembled and cried to see the big man coming at them. With a frightening look, Justin approached them while holding a gun to their necks.
“Do not be noisy or you will have the same hole as the two of them, my beautiful ladies”
They cannot be silent and obey. Who would not be afraid of being approached by a large, tattooed man covered in blood with a gun pointed at their neck. A normal person would instantly shout increasingly louder and that was what the three seductresses did.

Inside the bar was only the sound of gunfire breaking the silence. Justin immediately looked so upset and shot the woman's body again until the bullet ran out. After that, he called his men back.
“Throw these used women onto the street with these two useless mice!”
Justin turned around and walked into his room. He glanced at Theo who was still in a state of fear. Theo looked at the cold gaze of the big tattooed man and Justin's mouth movements before he walked in and slammed the door like saying a sentence.
“Do not bother me or I will kill you”
Theo thoughtlessly ran away from the place. The customers there also soon followed Theo's lead by running out of the place.
Theo ran with all the money in his pocket. He ran away with fear and chaos.
“What was that? What did that gorilla do?!! He killed!! He killed all the women he was with this morning, he did. What happened really!!”

At the same time elsewhere in the city, in front of the fountain pool.
Kaito and the two brothers just silently stared without being able to say anything. The time on Kaito's pocket watch was 06:03 and there was absolutely no sound of a large clock clanging as usual. Nothing has changed at all, nothing has happened. The sky was getting darker and the night in the city was coming.
“Mus..impossible..” Kaito looks at the surroundings with a look of shock
Not inferior to Kaito, these two brothers also turned pale.
“Kaito..the repetition..”.
“Not happened. This...still in ‘world noon’. But, that day world never had a night sky. That's right, isn't it Kaito-san? Why is there no sound of the clock clanging like before?!” Kino is getting very panicked right now
Not only ‘world malam’ is missing, now the situation of ‘world day’ also becomes very strange. The dark sky indicates that the night has arrived but the night in question is not ‘world night’ but really night for the city.
