7. The Arrival of Rendi

Rahma is typing a document using a laptop. Suddenly, Yani, an honorary employee who is in charge of office girl, enters Rahma's workspace and approaches Rahma.

“Mother Rahma, there are guests looking for Bu Rahma,” said Yani.

“Who?” ask Rahma.

“Say her name is Rendi. The guy is tall, handsome and cool, Mom,” Yani replied.

Hearing Rendi's name, Rahma immediately frowned. As Rahma remembered he had no acquaintance named Rendi.

Is he Pak Rendi Grandpa Sultan's grandson? ask Rahma in the heart.

Yani comes out of Rahma's study. Rahma saved the document she was typing and then she turned off her laptop. After closing Rahma's laptop out of her study. He walked to his office lobby, but the office lobby was empty and no guests were sitting in the lobby.

Rahma walked towards the front door of the office. He saw a man facing the street. The man dressed neatly like a big company leader. Rahma approached the man.

“Pak Rendi?” Rahma called the man. The man turned and turned to Rahma. It turns out that the man was Pak Rendi the grandson of Pak Sultan.

“What is Mr Rendi looking for me?” ask Rahma.

“There's something I want to talk to you about. Can you have lunch with me?” ask Rendi.

Rahma looked at the clock stuck to her wrist. Now at half twelve. It's lunchtime soon. But he still has a lot of work to do before he leaves for Lampung.

“I can't eat out. There is a lot of work that I have to finish before I leave for Lampung,” replied Rahma.’

“How is it tonight? Can you have dinner with me?” ask Rendi.

“Can't, Sir. I have to rest faster, so that the next day I do not feel tired,” replied Rahma.

“You to Lampung ride what?” ask Rendi.

“Car down,” replied Rahma.

Rendi was shocked to hear Rahma's reply.

“Car bill? To Lampung that far you ride the car?” asked Rendi in disbelief.

“Iya. If taking public transportation is even more difficult because we need a vehicle during our duty there,” replied Rahma.

“Why not get on an airplane?” ask Rendi.

“Can't, Sir. Our budget is limited. Our expenses must be adjusted to the budget,” replied Rahma.

Rendi sighed hearing Rahma's words.

“How long have you been there?” ask Rendi.

“Bapak what's really going on, anyway? How did I keep going from earlier?” ask Rahma.

“There are important things that I should talk about with you,” replied Rendi.

“Why not talk now?” ask Rahma.

“Cannot. It's about personal business, not work. It is not ethical to talk about here,” said Rendi.

“Ya. You just wait until I come home from Lampung,” said Rahma.

“If you've come home from Lampung, you call me!” said Rendi.

Rahma was shocked to hear that. How did he call Rendi? Her phone number is not hers. Who needs any more? Why should he call? All those questions were dancing on Rahma's head.

“Let me tell Grandpa Sultan that I have returned from Lampung. Let Grandpa tell Pak Rendi,” said Rahma.

“Do not contact Grandpa!” Rendi typed something on her phone shortly afterwards heard the sound of incoming message notification on Rahma's phone.

“That's a message from me. You keep my mobile number. If I call do not be considered a prankster or the phone is misconnected!” rendi.

Rahma touched her phone screen and opened her phone. He saw a message coming in from a number he didn't know. He read the message. It was a message from Randy. Rahma keeps Rendi's mobile number in the contact list.

“I've saved your phone number,” said Rahma.

Mr. Rubi one of Rahma's coworkers came out of the office like he was looking for someone.

“Rahma!” Mr. Rubi called Rahma.

Rahma turned to Rubi.

“Iya, Sir,” replied Rahma.

“Called by Ibu Haji Maryam,” said Mr. Rubi.

“Good, Sir,” replied Rahma.

Rahma turned back to face Rendi.

“Sorry Mr. Rendi, I was picked up by my boss,” Rahma said.

“Do not forget, if you are back from Lampung contact me!” rendi.

“Good, Sir,” replied Rahma.

“I'm sorry. Assalamualaikum.” Rendi walked towards the car. A driver was waiting in the car. Rahma was still standing in front of her office. He waited until Rendi left the parking lot. Not long after, Rendi's car left the office. Rahma went back into the office.
