183 Days of Being a Lover

183 Days of Being a Lover
20. Go To Brass

Rahma silently listened to Rendi's words. Mr. Sultan gave six months or one hundred and eighty-three days to Rendi to make Rahma a lover. However, Rendi decided to make Rahma a friend so that Rahma was easy to approach. What would happen if it was six months? Did they just split up and never see each other again? And become strangers to each other if they meet on the street. I don't know if Rahma also doesn't know what will happen if that time comes.

After the conversation Rahma chose silence. He prefers to pay attention to the scenery outside, while Rendi is busy calling her assistant and employees. Wonosobo – Bandung trip quite a long time takes approximately nine hours. They stopped more often in the rest area so that Mr. Sobir did not feel exhausted.

At half-time they arrived in Bandung. Rendi leads Rahma to the boarding place. Mr. Sobir stopped the car near the alley leading to Rahma's boarding place.

“Thank you, Mr. Sobir. I have been delivered,” Rahma said to Mr. Sobir.

“Sama-sama, Mom,” replied Mr. Sobir.

Rahma got out of the car. Rendi also got off the car. He helped bring a lot of Rahma's stuff.

“This souvenir for grandpa and aunt Claudia.” Rahma pointed to two large white lasikas that she had separated.

“Thank you,” said Rendi.

“Kok thank me? It was Mr. Rendi who bought,” asked Rahma confusedly.

“I mean, thank you for your attention to my grandfather and mother,” said Rendi.

“Ohhhh,” says Rahma sign understand.

Rendi retrieves Rahma's belongings from inside the trunk of the car.

“Let me bring my own!” Rahma was about to take her things from Rendi's hand.

“You brought this aja.” Rendi gave two plastic souvenirs to Rahma. While the travel bag and totebag that contains the files and one plastic souvenir is held by Rendi. Rahma could only sigh at Rendi who forced her to bring her things.

Rendi and Rahma walked towards the place of Rahma's boarding house. They stopped at the front door of the living room. Rendi put Rahma's things on the guest chair.

“Thank you. Mr. Rendi has delivered me and brought my things,” said Rahma.

Rendi smiled hearing Rahma's words.

“Sama-sama, Rahma,” replied Rendi.

“I'm home, yes. Assalamualaikum,” said Rendi.

“Waalaikumsalam,” replied Rahma.

Rendi left Rahma's boarding house. Rahma took her things to the room.

Rahma was pinning a safety pin on her hood, suddenly her bedroom door knocked. He walked to the door and opened the door. Her mother stood at the door. He smiled at Rahma.

“There are guests looking for you,” said Ms. Arini.

“Who?” ask Rahma.

“Cowok handsome,” replied Ms. Arini with a smile teasing Rahma.

“Pak Rendi?” ask Rahma.

“Kok know his name Rendi? Mama has not told me her name,” asked Ms. Arini.

“Agreement, yes?” ask Arini's mother while teasing Rahma.

“Ih, who made the deal? He who wants to follow here,” replied Rahma.

“Ya already, meet first. Pity if over time waiting, later interrogated with papa,” said Ibu Arini.

“Before a while, Rahma wants to fix the veil first,” said Rahma.

“Beautiful dress, yes!” said Ms. Arini then closed the door to Rahma's room.

“Ih! Mama,” said Rahma with annoyance.

After finishing fixing Rahma's veil came out of her room. He walked to the living room.  In the living room he saw Rendi talking to her papa.

“Pak Rendi.” Rahma called Rendi

Rendi turned to Rahma. He was amazed to see Rahma's appearance. Rahma's appearance was much different from what she used to see. Rahma looks so beautiful.

Rahma sat next to her father.

“Papa into first.” Mr. Ferdi got out of the chair and went into the house.

“What time is it from Bandung?” ask Rahma.

“What time, yes? I forget. Anyway after the completion of the morning prayer directly depart,” replied Rendi.
