183 Days of Being a Lover
15. Go To Wonosobo

After the last meeting Rendi did not contact him anymore. Rahma felt free without anyone bothering her. He can focus on working. This morning Rahma was getting ready to go out of town. He gets a job from his boss to go to Wonosobo for a few days. He went with a co-worker named Mr. Iqbal. Mr. Iqbal took his wife, Ira's mother. Mr. Iqbal's wife wants to go to Wonosobo because she has never been to Wonosobo.

They left at six in the morning from the office, using an office car. They stopped by Garut for breakfast because when they left they had not had breakfast. After breakfast they continued their journey. Ahead of the dzuhur prayer they stopped by first at the mosque which is on the side of the road to pray dzuhur. Incidentally the mosque where they pray next to the restaurant. So they decided to have lunch before continuing.

When Rahma was having lunch, suddenly the sound of Rahma's phone rang. Rahma picked up her phone which was inside the bag. Rahma looked at the phone screen, written on the screen of Mr. Rendi's phone calling. Rahma sighed when she found out who called her. Just a week ago he was free from the distractions of Rendi but now Rendi called him. Rahma did not immediately answer Rendi's call. He just put his phone on the table. He continued eating.

Mr. Iqbal and Ira's mother notice Rahma letting her phone ring. Finally Rahma lazily answered Rendi's call.

“Assalamualaikum,” says Rahma.

“Waalaikumsalam,” Reply Rendi.

“Rahma, what are you again? Why did you answer my phone for so long?” ask Rendi, please,

“I'm eating again, Sir.” Rahma immediately bribed her nya to hear the sound of her eating.

“Later tonight can accompany me to dinner, no? I have a guest from Japan. I would like to host them dinner, but I have no partner to accompany me. So I decided to invite you to accompany me,” said Rendi.

“Can't, Sir! I was out of town,” replied Rahma.

“Where else are you?” ask Rendi.

“I'm on my way to Wonosobo,” replied Rahma.

“How long have you been in Wonosobo?” ask Rendi.

“About four days. The fourth day I returned to Bandung,” replied Rahma.

Rendi sighed then she was silent for a moment. It seems he was thinking.

“Let's go when you share your location! Tomorrow morning I go there,” said Rendi.

“You reached Pak Rendi here?” ask Rahma.

“You caught up with you,” replied Rendi.

Suddenly Rahma choked on her food and then she coughed. Rahma immediately drank the drink so that the cough disappeared.

“Hallo! Rahma! Are you okay?” asked Rendi with a worried tone.

“I'm fine, Sir. I just choked,” Rahma replied.

“Be careful when eating!” rendi.

“Pak Rendi's. Does Mr Rendi have guests from Japan? Why come here? Guest period just left?” ask Rahma.

“They've been here almost a week. Tomorrow they will return to Japan,” replied Rendi.

After a week he did not contact me, it turns out he was a guest, Rahma said in her heart.

There was the sound of Rendi talking to someone.

“Rahma! It was a long time ago, yeah. I still have business. Don't forget to send your hotel location and the location where you work!” rendi.

“Iya,” replied Rahma.

“Assalamualaikum.” Rendi ended her talk.

“Waalaikumsalam,” replied Rahma.

Rahma put her phone in the bag. He continued eating.

After they finished eating they continued their journey. They arrived in Wonosobo in the afternoon. Incidentally the office has not closed so they stopped by the office first to check the preparation for tomorrow.

Finished from the office they also look for a hotel to stay. They headed to a hotel not far from the office. The hotel is located on the road leading to the Dieng plateau.

Iqbal parked his car in front of the office lobby. They got out of the car and into the hotel lobby to check in. When they were checking in, suddenly Rahma's phone rang. Rahma took her phone from the bag.  Then look at the phone screen. Written on the phone screen Mr. Rendi calling. Rahma sighed knowing who called her. He answered Rendi's phone.

“Assalamualaikum,” says Rahma.

“Waalaikumsalam,” Reply Rendi.

“You have arrived in Wonosobo, not yet?” ask Rendi.

“Already, Sir. Now I am checking in hotel,” replied Rahma.

“Pak Rendi want room type what?” ask Rahma. Rahma opens her wallet and checks the contents of her wallet to make sure the money is enough to book a room for Rendi. Rahma does not have a credit card because she is used to paying by cash.

“Terasu. If you can room next to your room,” replied Rendi.

“Good, Mr. Rendi,” replied Rahma.

“You have the money, right?” ask Rendi.

“There, Sir,” replied Rahma.

“I'm asking for your account number! I want to transfer money now,” said Rendi.

“Let's go, Sir. I have not finished checking in,” replied Rahma.

“If you have room for me tell me, yes! Let me quickly transfer to your account,” said Rendi.

“Good Mr. Rendi,” replied Rahma.

“Yes first, Sir. Assalamualaikum.” Rahma ended her talk.

“Mbak, can you book a room for tomorrow?” ask Rahma to the hotel staff.

“Can, Ma'am,” hotel employee replied.

“You order what room?” ask the hotel staff.

“Two,” replied Rahma.

“I'll check first.” Hotel employees check through a computer.

“Make who, Ma?” ask Mr. Iqbal.

“For my friend, Sir. Tomorrow he wants to follow here,” replied Rahma.

“Your boyfriend, yes?” asked Mr. Iqbal in a teasing tone Rahma.

“Not, Sir. Just friends,” replied Rahma.

Hotel staff check availability.

“Yang deluxe fully booked, Mom. There are also junior suites and standard rooms,” hotel employees said.

“Ya already, I ordered junior suite room one and standard room one,” said Rahma.

After finishing paying for his room and Rendi's room, Rahma and Iqbal and Ira's mother headed to their room. Their bag was carried by a bellboy.

Rahma's room is next to Mr. Iqbal's. Rahma opened the door of the room using a card. Bellboy brings Rahma's bags into the room and puts them in a special place to store the bags. Rahma tips the bellboy and the bellboy exits Rahma's room. Rahma closed the door and lay down on the bed. The long journey made his body feel tired.

Suddenly I heard the phone ringing. Rahma took her phone from the bag. Written on his phone screen Mr. Rendi calling. Rahma answered Rendi's call.

“Assalamualaikum,” says Rahma.

“Waalaikumsalam,” Reply Rendi.

“Have you booked a room for me?” ask Rendi.

“Already, Sir,” replied Rahma.

“How much?” ask Rendi.

“Later to send proof of payment,” said Rahma.

“You guys ask for your account number,” said Rendi.

“Good, Mr. Rendi. It was a long time ago, yeah. Assalamualaikum.” Rahma ended her talk.

Rahma sends proof of payment to Rendi and the bank account number. Within a few minutes Rendi sent proof of transfer of some money to Rahma. Rahma had no m-banking, so she could not check it. It's better tomorrow he'll just take it at the ATM.
