After the completion of the new project issue meeting with the development team, Zach walked towards the office library located not far from the meeting room. He witnessed the bustle of the city from the room that was walled by transparent glass. He is thinking about Alex's fate if he loses tomorrow's game. After all, the man would definitely not accept defeat much less regarding his wife.
Want to help more, but Zach realizes if nothing should happen cheating. So, he could only hope that Sean would not win for the man to stop making trouble. Hopefully his hope will be realized, hopefully.
"Master?"
Zach turned around, he saw Dennis standing not far from his place. "What's wrong?"
"Agnese ...." Dennis fell silent, then cleared his throat for a moment. "I mean Miss Agnese, she wants the maid in her house to go."
Zach's forehead frowned. He approached Dennis with his hand in his pocket. "Where is he?"
"He's at his house, sir."
"How did you know he wanted the maid to leave?"
Dennis raised his hand which was holding a mobile phone. Seen on the phone screen if Dennis and Agnese are still connected to the phone. It's just that Dennis is activating silent mode so that the girl can't hear their conversation.
Zach took over the phone from Dennis's hand. Do not forget he touched the bottom of the screen so that the receiver can hear the sound. He brought the flat object closer to the senses of his listeners.
"What do you need to do to call my guy?" ask Zach.
Agnese fell silent when she heard the least of the voices. He took a deep breath, then said, "I want you to take the maid away from my house. I don't need his help."
"Why?"
"You asked why?" Agnese. "I know you asked the school to take my scholarship. Therefore, I have to pay the tuition. My salary won't be enough to pay for it, so just take her with you" Agnese continued in an elevated tone.
"Stop going to school if you can't afford it," Zach replied, but it made Agnese's blood boil.
"Look, you're talking like that. You don't know what it's like to live a life of deprivation, so don't just talk!"
Zach grinning. "Of course I don't know because I was created to feel pleasure, not suffering."
"You!"
"Why? I'm handsome?" Zach smiled triumphantly. "It's in the womb."
Across the phone, Agnese tried to temper her mounting emotions. Many times he drew and exhaled a long breath. Talking to Zach is never free of debate. Though he only asked for something, but there were only answers thrown by the man until the debate between them continued to occur.
"Can't you, just once don't get in trouble with me?"
Zach's forehead frowned again. He turned around and returned to where he stood before Dennis came. "Who's looking for you? Aren't you looking for me?"
"Whatever, whatever, whatever!" geram Agnese's.
Hearing that, the corner of Zach's lips lifted slightly so that a small smile appeared. It's funny to hear Agnese like that. Not only to Alex, he was also happy if Agnese was upset because of his actions.
"I told you, stop going to school so that your salary is enough." Zach repeated his sentence. He wanted to hear the response Agnese gave. Whether it stays the same or changes.
Agnese let out a long breath. "How many times do I have to tell you that I'm not going to stop? Even I will continue to go to school until I reach the highest point."
"Are you sure of what you said?"
"Of course!"
"Your salary as a waitress is not enough for everyday life, but your dreams are too high,"
"I hate you! Really, I hate you, Mr. Arogan!"
The phone connection was cut off by Agnese just like that. He was hurt by Zach's words. Although he himself is not sure he can pay his tuition at Dalton High School, but he believes in the phrase if the effort never betrays the results. Because after all, he must be highly educated and get a good job so as not to be looked down upon again by people like Zach and students who often bully him in school.
Zach returned Dennis's phone. "You take care of him. I have to go to California to help Alex and Sean's game."
"Good, Sir."
Zach looked at the building in front of him. Several times he convinced himself to enter a place that holds many memories of his childhood. If it wasn't for Alex asking to take her sister, she probably wouldn't have set foot there.
Though it feels like just yesterday Zach played and created memories for the sake of good memories there. However, now he could only watch as he was laughing loosely inside the memory. Since entering the teenage phase, no more laughter is created. Only a flat face is often fitted to reassure everyone if he or she is doing well.
While engrossed in memory, the door not far from Zach opens and features a woman who looks shocked when she sees Zach. With a feeling of excitement, he ran towards Zach.
"Zach!"
Zach gasped in shock as his body was suddenly hugged. He immediately realized from daydreaming and immediately returned the embrace. The distinctive aroma of Tahitian vanilla combined with roses from Clive Christian Imperial Majesty type perfume makes Zach not want to break their arms.
"I miss you so much!" rachel, Zach's only sister.
Hugging, Zach nodded. "I miss you too."
"Hey! Can you take off this hug now? My son can't breathe."
Hearing that, Zach was forced to break their arms. Because of his longing with Rachel, he forgot that his sister was pregnant. He scratched the back of his head while smiling. "Sorry."
Rachel nodded, then led Zach into the house. However, before that, he called his friend to cancel the appointment because Zach is more important for now, especially if they rarely meet after marriage.
Zach walks into the house watching every angle that doesn't change much. Just paint and some ornaments that adorn the walls. When he arrived at the family room, he sat there staring at Rachel who looked more contained.
"How are you?"
Rachel smiled broadly. "I'm very good."
"Goodoo. It looks from your body now. You must have been so pampered that your slim body was gone" Zach said.
Rachel's lips advanced by a few millimeters. Because the hormones estrogen and progesterone in her body have increased significantly during pregnancy, as a result of neurotransmitter chemicals in the brain affect the mood of the woman to be easily changed. Just like now, he felt annoyed to hear the words of the older brother who indirectly said that he was fat.
"Why is your face like that? You look ugly." Zach is back.
"You came here just to make fun of me, huh?" Rachel clasped her chest, then looked the other way. "He missed, but I was just an object to reproach" he continued.
"It's not so, Rachie. But I'm right, aren't I? You look more contained now."
"You better leave now. I don't want to continue to be denounced Brother sucks like you!"
"You kicked me out? Alright." Zach got up from his seat, walking beside the sofa Rachel was sitting on. As she was about to reach the door, she stopped walking because Rachel suddenly hugged her from behind.
"You just came, but now you want to go again?" Rachel started crying and made Zach's shirt on the back a little wet from her tears. "You are indeed an insensitive Brother!"
Zach releases Rachel's hand that circles her waist. He turned around, then held the sister's face with both hands. He used his thumb to wipe away the flowing tears. "Hey, why are you crying? Didn't you ask me to leave?"
"She was very sensitive during pregnancy, Zach," said one person from the staircase.
Zach and Rachel turned towards the source of the voice. They saw Camila walking towards them with a smile. Zach looked at Rachel who had stopped crying with a gaze asking for an answer.
"That's right. During pregnancy, my mood changes easily" explained Rachel who made Zach immediately nodded in understanding.
Zach looked at the watch in his hand. Soon the game between Alex and Sean will start. He must get there quickly in order to help prepare the car to be used for the match. He looked back at Rachel, but this time he gently ruffled his sister's hair.
"I gotta go, Rachie. I have something to take care of" Zach said, shuffling Rachel's hair.
Rachel prepared to cry again, but as Zach's finger rubbed against her cheek, she became a little calm. "You just came."
"I know, but there's something I need to take care of. I'll be here when it's all over, okay? Now you better take a break."
"You promise?" Rachel thrusts her little finger. Zach happily links their pinkies to make a promise. "All right, you can go."
Zach smiled widely and turned to look at the mother. "I'm leaving, Mom."
