The blue sky had already appeared due to the unashamed sun moving to reveal its form. The birds adorn the morning. The crowds of people are already on the move as usual. However, it is different from a girl who is still asleep.
Even the trip from Dallas to New York was not enjoyed by the girl because it was fun to dive into the dream world so deep that it felt like she did not want to wake up again. Not without reason he wanted it. Especially there are pieces of memories that do not want to be left behind.
Memories that made the girl's life change over time. His heart froze and thought all that happened was a false shadow. However, he tried to brush off all the bad things that happened, he focused more on arranging the future and taking care of the mother.
Elsewhere, Zach puts one of his hands in his pants pocket, then walks towards the sofa to enjoy a cup of coffee. "Is that stupid girl awake?"
"It doesn't seem like it, sir."
Zach sips coffee while looking at Dennis. "He's been sleeping long enough. Is he bored?"
"He needs more rest. Maybe when you work, he'll wake up" Dennis replied.
"Why should I later? Now he can wake up."
Dennis smiled as an idea flashed through his head. "Then you wake up, sir."
"I don't want to! You're the one who woke up that lazy, stupid girl!" Zach sipped coffee again until there was little left.
"Not increase, sir?" Dennis laughed a little. "From little girls, to stupid girls, and now there's a slacker girl. Don't you think the name is too long? Why not just call her name?"
"I don't want my lips to itch because I say his name" Zach said with a laugh, recalling the memory of his time with Agnese because he wanted to prove if his words were true.
Dennis took his phone, then found out what the name Agnese means on Google. Seen a frown on his forehead while focusing on reading the available articles. As soon as he managed to get, the corners of his lips were drawn to widen.
"Your lips won't itch, sir." Dennis showed me something on his phone screen. "Look, the meaning of the name Agnese is sacred."
"Holy? I'm not sure if he's still as holy as his name means, let alone that he works in a nightlife. No way, right, if there's no guy teasing her?"
Dennis confirmed the words of Zach. The girl works in one of the night entertainment venues, surely many striped men who tease even invite to do it. However, his little heart felt that all of those statements were untrue. Because he is sure that Agnese is not a girl who is easily consumed by seduction.
Despite being in economic trouble, the girl was unlikely to be willing to do that. There are still many teenagers around the age of Agnese who do not want to give up chastity because they want to give it to a loved man later.
Dennis grinning. "You're right, but there's only one way to prove it, sir."
"What?"
"You must marry her first to know, sir."
Zach was shocked to hear Dennis. "Married? Hell no's! Are you drunk? How many times do I have to tell her that I don't want to marry her?"
"Maybe until you actually marry her?" reply Dennis as he placed his index finger on his chin and acted as if he was thinking.
Zach grunts his head. "You'll be all right."
Zach gets up and leaves Dennis laughing at his stupidity. He is not interested in discussing this sensitive topic. Getting married is not easy. Many people fail to build a good home.
Even the mother aggressively arranged a blind date for him to get married. However, he always looked for loopholes by looking at the shortcomings of every woman introduced to him. As a result, none of them have succeeded to date.
Because it is better to think about business issues, than having to discuss marriage that will make his heart sliced especially considering the marriage life of his parents who are sad.
Once again a snort was heard before Zach got into the car. He gripped tightly on the steering wheel and stepped on the gas pedal to immediately leave the area of the house that makes the morning a little bad.
When the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster— car owned by only an auction winner on the automotive company's anniversary— cleaves the already crowded streets, Dennis heads to the guest room to wake Agnese.
Dennis went into the room, then approached towards the bed. He turned off the lights on the nightstand, then turned on the headlights. After which, he shifted the window curtain that blocked the incoming sunlight.
As a result of Dennis' actions, the girl who is still trapped in the dream world is disturbed. Slowly his gray eyeballs were clearly visible. As soon as he finished adjusting to the light, he looked at the man before him in bewilderment.
"What are you doing?" agnese asked as she changed her position to sit down.
Agnese's mouth rounded as she nodded in response to Dennis's reply. He took a deep breath before looking at Dennis seriously. "When are we going back to New York? I really need to get home soon."
"We're in New York."
"Really?"
Dennis nodded. "Yes. As you can see, this is the room you've always used here."
Those gray eyes circulate to observe the surroundings. Is correct. Now he was in a room that had been to how many times to set foot there. "When do we go home?"
"Evening, while you're still fainting or asleep."
"How can you?" ask Agnese again.
Dennis shrugged his shoulders. "Mr Zach prepared the whole thing for fear that you'd do anything when you passed out."
"Where is he now?"
"Maybe she's dating" Dennis replies.
Really am. Agnese was a little surprised to hear that answer. Although having a lover is natural for a man like Zach, but there is a strange sense of radiating inside his body.
Agnese. "He has a lover?"
Dennis nodded. "Yes, her lover is very considerate and beautiful."
"Wow! Can I see his girlfriend?"
"Sorry, but it's Mr. Zach's personal business, it shouldn't be spiced up."
"I was just curious about her boyfriend. Is she pretty? If so, why would she want to waste her beauty with such an annoying guy like her?"
Dennis tried hard to hold back the laughter every time he heard the words that Agnese said. Though what he means as a lover is a square object that can accommodate a variety of soft files in it, not humans. "Love, Mr. Zach is so beautiful. If there's no Mr. Zach nearby, he'll be cold. Even he's very useful to the company."
"Company?" Agnese. "He owns the company?"
"Ehem." Dennis cleared his throat, then got up. "You'd better take a shower, miss," he continued.
Agnese let out a long breath. It would be impolite to call the man by name only, when he is called by the nickname 'miss'. Moreover, their age is quite far away.
"Eyeah, Dennis?"
"Yes, Miss?"
Again. Hearing that word, Agnese's ears twitched. He must immediately tell his dislike of the man, before it becomes a habit to always use it.
"Please don't call me that. Just Agnese, okay?"
One of Dennis' eyebrows shot up. "Why?"
"You've been taken like my brother, so talk like a brother. Don't use the language either."
"But ...."
Agnese shook her head quickly. "No buts anymore."
"All right."
