"What's up, sir? Why is your face so upset?"
Zach looked up and looked at his secretary. "Mom asked me to come home."
"Then, what do you think?"
"Mom asked me to date her chosen woman again" replied Zach, then gave a loud snort at Camila's request.
The secretary took a long breath. Sometimes he feels sorry for Zach because his life is always arranged by his mother. However, since Zach loved Camila so much, the man was willing to do anything.
"Are you going on a date today?" Zach nodded. "I'll drive you."
"no need. You've been working a lot, get some rest."
The secretary nodded. "I just want to make sure you're in shape, sir."
"Alright, but before that, please find out about the person you bought the phone for."
The secretary's body stiffened. How not? Before being asked, he had been looking for information about someone who bought a cell phone a few days ago. He did it because he didn't want anything to happen to Zach.
How'this?
"Hey! Why are you keeping quiet? You don't want to help me?" reprimand Zach when his secretary is silent.
The secretary was shocked. "Eh, no! It's not so, sir."
"Then?"
The secretary is beating. "Actually .. I've found out about him, sir."
"What?!" Zach got up from his seat then looked at the secretary with a look of disbelief. "Why did you do that?"
"I'm sorry, but I did that to keep you."
Zach kept quiet and digested his secretary's speech. He knew very well how dexterous the man was. Actually he was happy because he did not have to wait long to find out the desired information, but there was a dislike that reached him. He took a deep breath and sat back down.
"Tell me about it now" said Zach, who was immediately embraced by the secretary before passing on the information gathered.
When the secretary said that Agnese worked part-time to fulfill her life, Zach gasped and stood up. "Come, take me to work."
"What about your date, Mister?"
Zach shrugged his shoulders indifferently. "I can meet that guy tonight. Now just take me to work."
“Good.”
Zach's right hand began to walk down the road at a normal pace after getting word from someone if the person Zach wanted to meet was there. He smiled wryly as he stared at Zach's face through the deep rearview mirror. It never occurred to him if he would intervene to help the boss to find out about a woman who was even young.
Even so, he feels happy especially Zach rarely involves him in personal affairs. He is willing to do anything for Zach because he has helped him a lot. Many people do not know about the boss because there are some things that he thinks are strange, but funny.
“How long has he been working there?” ask Zach suddenly.
“Not long after his father died,” replied the secretary while remaining focused on driving.
Zach's right eyebrow is up. “Death?”
Zach had just heard some of the information earlier, not yet arrived at the sad news. So, he was a little surprised when he heard it. He again asked for an explanation so as not to overload his mind.
“Iya. From the information I got, his father was killed and his mother was hit by a stroke after that incident.”
How sorry you are, Little Girl. But I won't stop bothering you.
Zach looked at the road with an empty look. Call him cruel and selfish, but that's what he is. He does not hesitate to do something that no one else has thought of. He does not care if what is being faced is a woman because from a long time ago he did not like women let alone remember the actions of his biological mother.
Zach snorted as he felt the journey this time was very long. “How much longer will we arrive? Why don't you increase the speed? If he goes from there, how?”
"Just calm down, he'll be there until nightfall."
“Good.”
After a long journey, Zach finally arrived at the place where the secretary meant. He immediately got out of the car and brought a laptop as a tool to close himself. While inside, he circulated a vision to look for the figure, but there was none. He decided to sit and wait.
Because he never saw the figure he was looking for, Zach clucked. It was a waste to come there if not to meet. He sent a message to the secretary to ask the truth of the information obtained. However, while waiting for a reply, he saw a male servant, so he called out to him.
"Agnese?" Zach nodded. "Yes, there's."
"Where is he now?"
The man's servant frowned, then looked at Zach from foot to head. He was a little suspicious because he was asked about Agnese. He is not used to inform strangers because he values Agnese's privacy.
Knowing the situation, Zach smiled forcefully. "Just calm down, I have no malicious intentions on the girl. I just wanted to ask her about her cousin who happened to be my friend" explained Zach who made the maid nod.
"good. Wait here, let me call him." The waiter twisted his body and walked over, but stopped when he heard Zach's scream. "What's up, Mister?"
Zach handed over some money, then handed it to the waiter. "Take it."
"Eh, no, sir."
"Take it, it's a gift for you that has helped me" explained Zach who made the waiter smile happily before receiving money from him.
After that, he saw the servant go to approach Agnese. While he immediately put on glasses and stared at the laptop screen so as not to be recognized. Shortly after, he heard a voice he wanted to hear.
“Excuse me, do you want to order something?”
Zach looked up, opened his glasses, then smiled ignorantly. “How about I order you?”
The waiter who had not long set foot in front of Zach's desk immediately stared. Why is it that when he wants to be free from bad memories, he has to meet the person who created them? He took a deep breath, then ventured to look at her.
“Sorry, here does not serve human order. There's only food and drink, thank you,” the waiter immediately got up from there.
“Hei, wait!”
The servant exhaled a rough breath, stopped walking, and returned to Zach's place. “What's up? You better call the other waiter.”
“Why are you so sniffy? Shouldn't I be the one to act like that?”
The waiter frowned. “Means?”
“Do you remember? You slapped me, Miss Agnese.”
“You? How do you know my name? You should know that I never regretted slapping you. Precisely I'm happy to do it let alone you ...." Agnese was silent for a moment and recalled the incident a few days ago when Yoana explained to her about the actual incident.
"I why?"
Lying is okay, right?
Agnese closed her eyes, then let out a long breath. "You took something precious from me."
“What is your self-esteem so low that it is only reciprocated with a slap?” Zach laughed disdainfully and then crossed paths. “Please once.”
Agnese should have known if this man in front of her would have confessed that way even though he knew what was really going on. He looked very upset after hearing the man's words. “Actually what do you want?”
“Boiling debt, maybe?”
Agnese. “Utang what? Isn't everything done after you drove me home and to school?”
“It's not that easy, Little Girl. Instead your debt is getting more and more to me.”
Agnese took a deep breath, then exhaled it. He should not believe in the talk of strangers. He clenched his hands to make his anger disappear. He cannot get out of control if he does not want something worse to happen to him.
“I don't fuc*ing care about that.”
Zach chuckles. “You don't fit to say such a rude thing. You better call my name later when we ..”
“What? Don't expect me to do it with you. You're not the person I love, so don't dream of doing it with you.”
“We'll see later.”
“Later? I hope after today, we never fight again. And, yes ... our business is done,” Agnese said before leaving Zach.
“Damn it!” yep, Zach when Agnese is away.
Zach knows that his words are very slurred, but he cannot control them. He seemed to want to put out that sentence to make Agnese upset and fight. He likes to be able to argue about things that are not important than not having the slightest conversation that will make him continue to think about the girl.
