Chapter 8: Doubt of Miya's Heart

After finding her brother who joined the demon side due to his own desires and even more, she had promised the Demon King to be his wife, making Miya very afraid of his very unlucky fate. It could be that his chastity will be snatched away by the Demon King. Because he didn't want to happen came some ideas in his head
"Maybe I should run away from here" said Miya looking at the way out of the demon world "or did I kill myself?" miya asked herself "I don't have a home anymore, if I go back to the human world I will definitely be stamped as a traitor"
After pensive for a while Miya finally decided to kill herself and put an end to all her problems, by suicide she could escape the clutches of the Demon King and she did not need to think about her brother's betrayal. Yes, all problems will be solved, Miya thought, as well as her life.
Miya sat on the edge of the cliff, her eyes closed and slowly sobbing. He felt useless and had no hope. All the struggles he went through seemed futile. He felt trapped in a situation he could not cope with.
Suddenly, the Demon King appeared behind him. He sees the desperate Miya and understands what is going on. Without saying much, the Demon King walked over and held onto Miya's arm.
"Miya, what are you doing?" ask the Demon King.
Miya fell silent, not responding to anything.
"Miya, I won't let you do this," the Demon King said sternly. "You have incredible talent and potential."
"I won't be yours" said Miya, "it's better to die than to be your wife!" keep up Miya
"It's too late to say that!" the Demon Lord said "With you we can end the war between humans and demons!" continue the Demon King firmly
"I don't care about that!" said Miya
"No that's not what I mean!, I fell in love with you at first sight!" the Demon King
"Lying, it's just your lust!" reply Miya
"Maybe it's true, but I won't let you go" said the Demon King pulling Miya's hand and hugging her
"What are you doing??" said Miya shyly embarrassed "let go of me monster
Suddenly came some heroes who had biased views towards the demons and decided to attack. They unleashed magic attacks and flocked towards Miya and the Demon King.
The Demon King, who was very sprightly, immediately stood in front of Miya and issued a magic attack to protect himself and Miya.
"This is a great opportunity for us to kill the Demon King!", shouted one of the heroes.
"Yes I'm sure it's Miya, she's a traitor to our nation, we finished off this traitor before the Devil king!" yelled one of the heroes
The heroes quickly aimed their magic moves towards Miya but all of her attacks were repelled by the Demon King who was standing in front of Miya.
"Demon King?, why are you protecting me?" ask Miya
"What's this about? Why would a Demon Lord protect a hero?" ask one of the heroes
"He is a precious figure!, I won't let him get hurt!" the Demon King
"No, I don't want to be considered valuable by a creature like you!" said Miya running towards the magic attack from one of the heroes
"Because it was so fast, the demon lord had no time to make an attack to fend off the attack. She was forced to use her body as a shield to protect Miya.
"Why are you protecting me? you fool!" said Miya smiling
Miya took advantage of this opportunity to defeat the demon king, she continued to flee towards the hero's sudden magic attacks to make the demon king several times forced to use her body to protect Miya.
"Continue the attack, this way we can defeat the demon lord" said one of the heroes
Miya sees the dying demon lord for protecting her, but Miya doesn't care any better she lets the demon lord die so she doesn't need to be his wife anymore. But it is not that easy because Leon arrives and protects the demon king from hero attacks.
With his sword of justice Leon begins to eradicate the heroes who attacked the demon lord.
"That's Legendary Hero Leon!, he's already joined the demon side!, we won't win!" said one of the heroes in a frightened tone
With a few lightning slashes from the sword of justice Leon defeated the heroes with great ease.
"Why brother saved the demon lord!, he was the source of evil in the human world!, he deserved to die!" miya said firmly
"You don't understand Miya, when it's time you'll find out why I'm doing all this" Leon said approaching his beloved sister "Even if she's a demon, she's still protecting you!" said Leon staring at Miya deep inside
Miya realized that she should have thought about her actions to kill the person protecting her. Miya looked at the demon king and began to heal his wounds with simple healing magic. The demon king is taken to his room by Leon using magic.
