Chapter 11: I Want to Live Here
#Peace Negotiation
The vast field that is going on a war between demons and humans. The sun was shining and radiating light in all directions. The wind blew fiercely and carried the scent of blood and dust of war.
Leon, a charismatic hero with extraordinary abilities, stands in front of an army of humans. Several soldiers wielded his weapons and were ready to fight Leon. They view Leon as hateful and regard him as a traitor for joining the demon side.
Leon was unaffected by the stares and speech of the human warrior, he said firmly, "I only choose to stand on the side of justice."
Human soldiers prepare to fight Leon, but Leon does not remain silent. He held his sword and started the fight. Some soldiers put up defenses, but Leon moved agilely and cut off every attack they made.
Leon moved quickly and easily hit the soldiers one by one. The other soldiers tried to help their comrades, but Leon continued to show his abilities and fight back with vigor.
Suddenly, the Demon King came as well as the Human War General facing each other on the battlefield. They stood up straight and looked at each other with strong gazes. Leon took a position beside the Demon King and held his sword, ready to defend the Demon King in case of a fight.
Tension filled the air like a terrible storm was about to strike. The two sides spoke to each other in a loud voice, yet no action was taken.
"Man! why are you attacking the Devil world?!" the Demon Lord loudly said "do you want to provoke me to attack your world in great magnitude?" ask the Demon King to get angry
"Don't the temple don't know the Demon King!!, you definitely know the reason we attacked the demon world!!, this is the only way to keep our world safe!!" said the Human General "if you hand over Miya to us then we will be happy to leave" the General said
"Miya?" the Demon Lord said "he was sent to my castle some time ago and joined me and you want him back?" said the Demon King "ha ha ha suguh so funny!!, if indeed Miya is the reason you attacked is Miya why don't you do it for the Legendary Hero Leon" said the Demon King
"If you pretend to forget the reason we wanted to get Miya, then I'll make you remember it after destroying the demon world!!" said the Demon General loudly
The conversation ended and did not get any changes regarding the war, after withstanding the attacks of several thousand human troops finally when the sun began to set the battle ended by consuming a great number of casualties from the human and demon sides.
#Lara and Miya
Lara walked slowly towards Miya and sat by the bedside. He sees Miya and feels sympathy for the girl. Without hesitation, Lara held onto Miya's hand and spoke, "Sister, how are you? Are you all right?"
Miya opened her eyes and gasped to see Lara beside her. "L-Lara? What are you doing here?" asked Miya surprised
"I came to save you, let's go home" Lara replied
"No Lara I'll stay here before I know why brother Leon joined the Devil. But, how did you get here?" ask Miya.
"I infiltrated through the window," Lara replied with a smile. "Sister are you going to stay here just like big brother Leon??, why did your brother leave me?" asked Lara with a sad face
Miya looked down, looking very sad. "I don't know what to do. But there must be a mystery to the war between demons and humans that we do not know Lara, I have to investigate it here" said Miya firmly while holding Lara's hands and looking into her eyes
"But this big brother is a good opportunity for us to get out of here, the castle guard is loose because many demons are sent to the battlefield in the portal area. I also saw the Demon King being there" Lara said persuading Miya to run away
"Not my sister, if I leave now it will make the Demon King angry, and I cannot return to the human world because humans have mistaken me for a traitor" miya said holding Lara's face and stroking her head. "You shouldn't be here, just leave before the Demon King returns, just remember that Leon's brother and I won't leave you alone even if we're on the devil's side"
"Hiks hyster, why don't you want to make the Demon King angry, he is a cruel creature and the source of evil in our world!" lara said firmly
"It's possible, but somehow I started to believe that he was basically just an ordinary guy" Miya said. "Maybe you won't believe it, he has been protecting big brother from the hero that the human side sent him some time ago. He protected his brother to the point of making himself seriously injured"
"No way!!" lara said, suddenly Lara fell silent because she had also felt the same way when there was a demon who tried to protect humans.
Miya and Lara embrace for a farewell and in the end Lara goes again to the Demon King's world and begins her journey to find out more about humans and demons. Lara intends to search for the demon that once protected the humans she once met.
