The 30'S Club
Chapter 7's

Chapter 7: Don't Appear to Me Again.

I looked at the snow-covered streets, Christmas songs echoed everywhere even our company decorations filled with Christmas trinkets.

“Happy christmas” said Seola, he was wearing a deer antler bando.

“Haiss” my lips are bored.

I was wearing a santa-clas hat, while Bo Ra was wearing a deer nose. The ignorant Seola drew Bo Ra's face with a deer mustache that looked like a rat in my eyes.

“Tonight who wants to come with me to the Christmas celebration 30’s” said Bo Ra called the event held cafe, where we had a blind date. Christmas is officially held tomorrow, considering that many people will be on holiday the event is brought forward one day early.

“I do not follow” said I was moving a stiff neck movement chasing the year-end target.

Seola massaged my shoulder slowly.

“Our manager must follow” Bo Ra said.

I shook my head weakly, it's time I relax while thinking about the resolution for next year.

“Alright, I will go home early” said Seola say goodbye.

“Ck, what is a casual senior copywriter?” bo Ra's lips on Min Seola who sauntered leisurely left the office.

“Now it's time to go home, you also go home” said I drove Bo Ra.

“How about you?” ask Bo Ra.

“I'll be home after completing my duties. While Dan Gun Woo is not around, go home” I whispered to Bo Ra.

Bo Ra nodded then the next second disappeared from the room.

I close up the jacket I was wearing while checking my files and other important documents. It wasn't until ten minutes that all my work was done and it was time for me to go home.

“Ok Bit Na, I left something. Help me find him” shouted Bo Ra uproar.

I followed it with a surprised face. We are looking for items that he said accidentally missed or fell belonging to Bo Ra. A few minutes later Bo Ra received a call from someone, he walked away and I didn't hear his voice.

“Bit Na” said Bo Ra with a happy tone.

“It turns out I left a flash in the other bag there, now the bag is at home” said Bo Ra jahil.

I rolled my eyeballs lazily.

We went down the stairs to the office lobby. Bo Ra took my hand. Arriving in the lobby I saw Bo Ra's face change.

“You can go home by yourself right? See you early in the year” shouted Bo Ra leaving me confused in front of the lobby.

It was getting late and the weather was getting colder. I grabbed a T-shirt and put it on.

“Bit Na” the delicate voice that reprimanded me made me look up.

“Let's take me home” he said

I'm still staring at him. Looking at the face that had not appeared before me for three months.

Tin, tinn. The sound of a car horn in the back of Jae Yoon's car resuscitated me. My reflex opened Jae Yoon's car door and sat in the front seat.

Jae Yoon pleasantries commenting on the weather and the streets that are starting to get jammed. He also talked about the year-end vacation plans his company is giving him. His face was radiant, there was no guilt, as if nothing had ever happened between us.

I closed my eyes, trying to neutralize the mixed feeling in my chest. If only it wasn't in the office lobby, I would definitely shower him with a lot of questions. But figuring out my position is manager and one of the criteria for job assessment is ethics, there's no way I'm going to get him into a fight in front of the building where I work. I massaged my forehead, ignoring Jae Yoon's insignificant babble.

“Where have you been?” cold said.

“Create the future” Jae Yoon said with a laugh.

He responded to my question with a joke? Am I the one who asked this to seem to make a silly joke? I'm silent in a thousand languages, you better not respond to his words too far let him enjoy his happiness.

“I'm down here, you don't have to come” I said stopping Jae Yoon from opening his seatbelt.

A knock on the windshield shifted our eyes. Jae Yoon lowered his glass that looked blurry due to the snow.

“Jae Yoon? it's true you're Jae Yoon” my mother said happily.

I saw Jae Yoon's face beaming. He immediately came down and hugged my mother.

“Thank God you're okay. I brought a Christmas gift to Bit Na saying she didn't want to go home this year. Since I've met you guys, come home tomorrow. I'll cook your favorite meal” my mother told Jae Yoon.

“Eoma, he won't come home. We have broken” said I pressed the word break up.

Jae Yoon frowned asking for an explanation of the word breakup I meant.

“Aigoo, stop your stubbornness. Jae Yoon, don't mind his attitude. Since childhood Bit Na does like sulking” said my mother laughed a little.

“Looks like a storm is coming, I have to come home” my mommy said back.

The distance of my house and apartment four hours drive access to it is very smooth. So I'm not worried when mom says go straight home.

“Disconnect? What do you mean” asked Jae Yoon.

“You disappeared for three months without news. Then come to my office as if nothing happened” said I tried hard.

Jae Yoon was silent, no sound came out.

“Go, don't appear in front of me again” I said after not hearing any answer from Jae Yoon.

That night, so the saddest Christmas Eve of my thirty-two years.
