Stuck Marriage Contract

Stuck Marriage Contract
Chapter 14

"Huft, done too." Yuna sighed. His face looked tired with his sweat and temples.

He had prepared dinner and finished arranging it on the dining table.

Some food menu on the table. Yuna smiled wryly despite the slight happiness she felt.

After seeing the quarrels and problems that befell her parents' household, Yuna had thought she would not get married.

The bitter experience made Yuna feel that marriage only provides momentary happiness and will eventually leave behind wounds and destruction.

But circumstances make Yuna must be in a position that she never wanted. Must marry and deal with a man who until this moment he does not know his identity.

"I did this for Mama. Mas Barra has given everything, Mama has also healed and we can live quietly both."

"I should've done all of this according to that agreement." Yuna muttered as she stared at the food on the table.

He is giving strength and strength to himself.

The marriage contract he had was still long. Yuna wished she could go through it all to the end.

Taking off the apron and putting it back in its original place, Yuna moved up and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

"Mas,," Yuna exclaimed as she knocked on the door of the room.

He could have taken a bath in the next room if Barra still wanted to be in there, but his toiletries and clothes were in the room that Barra was in.

"I'm going to get some clothes," he said.

The door opened, Barra stared flat at Yuna's face and gave way for Yuna to enter the room.

"Sorry, another break, huh.?" Yuna looks bad on Barra

"Hm."

"What clothes.?" Ask Barra.

"Shirt change, I'm gonna take a shower." Yuna replied as she walked in.

Hearing that Yuna was going to take a bath, Barra walked out.

"Mas Barra doesn't have to go out, I just want to grab the same clothes and toiletries. Take a shower in the next room." Prevent Yuna.

He wasn't good at getting Barra out of the room when she was on break.

"Let's go get some rest, I'll call you if we want dinner." Added Yuna. He walked back to the walk in closet.

Meanwhile, Barra, who had been outside the room, now entered the room again. Walked to the bed and returned to lay his body there.

The complicated problems he was facing, lately made him tired quickly.

Out of the walk in closet, Yuna's bead eyes glanced at the bed.

Barra slept on her back with both hands crossed over her forehead.

The short-sleeved t-shirt she was wearing, made her arm muscles look perfect.

Yuna glanced back, this time longer and watched Barra from toe to head.

The question of Barra's identity comes to mind again. Although her marriage is not forever, Yuna still wants to know the identity and origin of Barra who is her current husband.

Barra's footwork made Yuna move straight from there. He went into the bathroom, picked up his toiletries and immediately walked out of the room without glancing at the bed again.

...*****...

Yuna went downstairs after waking Barra up for dinner together.

Yuna turned her head after hearing sura footsteps. Barra's newly woken up face, still looking lethargic. Although Yuna knew that Barra had washed her face. It looks like her front hair is a little wet.

"Your mom didn't eat.?" Barra pulled out a chair and sat down in front of the dining table. His eyes looked at the dishes on the table.

"Mama has eaten, just ask for fruit with bread alone." Reply Yuna. He sat down in front of Barra.

"I don't know what Mas Barra's favorite food is, so just cook what I can." Yuna said. As if he was giving an explanation to Barra who was still observing his homemade cooking.

"No problem, I eat anything." Barra replied casually. He scoops the rice into his plate, then picks up some menu.

Yuna just kept quiet while watching what Barra picked up and what she didn't touch.

Yuna did not have the courage to ask for Barra's favorite food, because she thought she would be too deep into the role even though only as a temporary wife.

At least by remembering what food is taken by Barra every meal together, it can directly make Yuna know what foods are liked by Barra.

Think of what Yuna is doing right now, as a form of gratitude for the kindness and responsibility of Barra to her and Mama Rena.

Barra began to eat her food, as did Yuna. Both of them focused on eating each one without anyone talking.

The silence between the two of them was accompanied by the sound of spoons and forks clashing with plates.

15 Minutes passed in silence. Both of them finished dinner. Every now and then Yuna glanced at Barra who was getting busy with her phone.

"What's up.?" Ask Barra. She was indeed unable to read the contents of one's heart and mind, but could read Yuna's movements that seemed to want to convey something to her.

Yuna was a little surprised, not realizing that it turned out that Barra had noticed her uneasiness since earlier.

"I've been on leave for 2 weeks. I have to go to the office again tomorrow." Yuna hesitated a little to say that to Barra, afraid that Barra would answer it instead of being her business. But Yuna felt she had to keep saying that to Barra.

Barra raised her face, put the phone on the table and stared with a serious expression.

"As long as you're under contract, I don't want you to work." Barra's answer was unexpected. Yuna was confused to hear it.

"You can quit your temporary job. I've met your needs anyway."

"Your mom just got home from the hospital. You want to let your mom alone in the house.?"

Barra's words made Yuna think again to return to work. It's true that Barra meets the needs of him and Mama Rena. Even the money that was sent yesterday by Barra was more than enough for the purposes for 1 month.

Barra gave 3 times the salary she received from the office.

Mama Rena's health is also not stable, has not been able to move on her own without supervision and help from her.

However, Yuna felt burdened if she only relied on money from Barra.

"But I can't possibly depend on Mas Barra. One time, I mean after all this jam, Mama and I have to survive."

Yuna thought far away. After her marriage contract with Barra ended, she could no longer rely on Barra.

Barra was silent for a moment, looking to think hard to find a solution.

She could not let Yuna work because she was afraid that Yuna would be exhausted and difficult to get pregnant.

But Barra is also unlikely to limit Yuna's movements, what else to concern the survival of Yuna and Mama after the marriage is over.

“I don't ngijinin you work outside, you might be able to make a business at home. In addition to flexible time, you can still take care of your Mama."

Barra. He also had no idea what effort Yuna could make. At least, it can make Yuna think to find her own ideas according to her wishes.

"All right, I'll think about it later."

"Then tomorrow I'll resign from the office." Yuna looked down sad. A little unwilling to have to get out of a job that has long been his dream.
