Ranum immediately went out to meet the taxi driver. “Master, we will eat first, you come eat with us. Let the taximeter stay alive.” Ranum spoke to the taxi driver who was carrying his groceries.
“Thank you very much sir.” The taxi driver smiled.
Ranum nodded, returning the taxi driver's smile. Ranum returns to his car to pick up Claire and Kaitlyn. “We will eat first here.” Ranum opens the door for Claire while holding Kaitlyn from the back seat.
One of the security approached Ranum. “Good afternoon sir, have you booked a place?” The security asked Ranum.
“But.” Ranum answered briefly.
“Sorry you can not eat at this restaurant sir, because this place is full.” Continue that security.
Ranum smiled, grabbing the phone he had in his pocket to contact someone. Less than five minutes of Ranum's conversation on the phone was over. From the main door of the restaurant is seen a man wearing a suit running very fast towards Ranum. “My name is Heath sir, I am the manager at this restaurant.” the man wearing the suit stuck out his hand. Ranum shook the man's hand.
“Pardon our employee Mr. Ranum. Just now Mr. Russell has contacted and explained to me, once again forgive us Mr. Ranum.” Heath.
“No problem.” Ranum patted the manager of the restaurant.
“Let me take you to your table Mr. Ranum.” The manager guided Ranum and the others into the restaurant.
All visitors out of the restaurant, not the least angry – angry. Ranum was confused to see the situation. “What happened Mr Heath?” Ranum asked, confused.
“Master Russell told me to empty this restaurant for you mr.” Heath explained.
“Russell always overdo it as usual.” Ranum smiled.
“Master Russell says that you are his special guest, so he does not want to disappoint you.” Heath says.
“You want to sit where the princess?” Ranum who from earlier carried Kaitlyn asked.
“Can we eat there?” Kaitlyn pointed to the outdoor area of the restaurant.
“Certainly can princess.” Ranum smiled. “Mr Heath, I will wear a table that is outside.” Ranum spoke to Heath.
“Okay Mr. Ranum, we will move the big table along with his chair outside.” Heath answered.
Ranum takes Kaitlyn down. “Choose a place you like.” Ranum spoke to Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn immediately ran towards the coconut tree.
“Put there mr. Heath.” Ranum speaking.
“Good sir.” Heath nodded, immediately telling some of the restaurant's employees to move the tables and chairs near the coconut tree.
“Do you want to play on Kaitlyn beach?” Ranum asked.
Kaitlyn nodded.
“Come, I'm with.” Ranum smiled with Kaitlyn's tiny hand. “Order the food you want. Including you sir, any message you want.” Ranum spoke to Claire and the taxi driver.
“Whatever sir?” The taxi driver asked, making sure.
Ranum nodded, smiling. “Anything.” Ranum immediately accompanied Kaitlyn to play on the beach. Ranum burned his cigarette, sitting near Kaitlyn who was busy playing with water and sand.
After ordering food Claire approached Ranum, sitting next to him. “Thank you.” Claire speaking.
“For what?” Ranum asked, putting out his cigarette.
“No need you turn off, that smoke doesn't bother me.” Claire smiled. “For everything you've given us.” Claire answered Ranum's question.
“This is not what – is. You don't have to thank.” Ranum spoke flat, watching Kaitlyn who was busy running from the waves.
“You've only known Kaitlyn, but your concern for her exceeds that of her father.”
Ranum looked at Claire seriously. “Never say anything like that. No matter how he behaves, he's still the father of your son. I'm no better than him. Like you said, I just got to know you guys, so you can't judge me.”
Claire remained silent.
“Actually what always makes you fight?” Ranum asked while keeping an eye on Kaitlyn. “You don't need to answer my question if you think I don't need to know it.” Ranum continued saying.
“Actually he started to get busy and became rude after moving to work at his new company. He always came home with a sour face, all trivial problems could arouse his anger. He never again had time for his family and never listened to me. Every time I try to explain or tell something can always provoke his anger, even though the reason I tell stories to entertain him.” Claire looks.
“Have you told him to look for another job?” Ranum asked back.
“What's the reason the company – that company didn't accept your husband?” Ranum asked.
“My husband is only a high school graduate, so it is quite difficult to work at the company he wants.” Claire explained.
Ranum just kept silent to Claire's explanation. “I have to be there for a while.” Ranum pointed at the other side of the beach. Claire nodded.
Ranum called Gabriel.
“There can I help Young Master?” Gabriel's voice was heard on the other end of the phone.
“What mining company we still have empty place for new employees?”
“There is still a Young Master, but only in petroleum and gas mining.”
“It's better. Please find the data of the Langford family who live in the swinton avenue housing complex. His wife's name is Claire Langford. Give the job in the mine to her husband.”
“Siap, I will do Young Master.”
“All permanent employee admission procedures are executed for formalities. The important thing is this man should work in our company.” Ranum continued to assert.
“Good Young Master.”
Ranum nodded, turning off his phone.
Ranum approaches Claire. “We'd better get back, I think our food is ready.” Ranum spoke to Caire.
Claire nodded. Ranum immediately approached Kaitlyn. “Come we should quickly finish our food before the bird – the bird eats our food.” Ranum pointed at the seagulls flying on the beach.
“Come fast.” Kaitlyn excitedly ran towards the restaurant, Ranum followed from behind.
They ate all the dishes with gourmand. Ranum held Kaitlyn while feeding the little boy. They make small talk, occasionally bringing laughter.
Twenty minutes had passed, they had already finished eating some of the dishes. “How is Kaitlyn, do you like food here?” Ranum asked.
Kaitlyn smiled widely, nodding – nods.
“Which ones do you like?” Ranum asked back.
Kaitlyn pointed to the plate used ice cream, chocolate mousse and apple & rhubarb crumble.
“Do you want more?” Ranum asked.
Kaitlyn nodded.
“All right we will order to take home okay?”
“Oke.” Kaitlyn smiled until her tiny teeth were seen while giving a thumbs up.
Ranum went to the waiter and ordered some dishes to take home. Fifteen minutes passed, all Ranum's orders were ready. Ranum paid for everything, including paying for the losses he created as a result of expelling all visitors to the restaurant. After everything is done, Ranum immediately drives Claire and Kaitlyn home. Ranum got out of his car, stepped towards the taxi behind his car while carrying several paper bags containing food. “This is for your family sir and this is for the taxi money.” Ranum gave a paper bag containing the food and some money. “Take the rest. Thank you for accompanying us today.” Ranum smiled.
“Thank you very much sir.” The taxi driver immediately brought – items belonging to Claire and Kaitlyn to their doorstep.
Ranum says goodbye to Claire and Kaitlyn. “I have to go home soon, it's a little dinner for you guys.” Ranum gave some paper bags filled with food to Claire. “I go home first yes princess.” Ranum pinched Kaitlyn's cheek.
“Thank you very much Ranum.” Claire smiled.
“No problem.” Ranum answered flatly.
“When can we meet again Ranum?” Kaitlyn asked.
“You know that I'm a busy man?” Ranum gave a small laugh staring at Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn nodded, her face looking sad.
“I can't promise anything, but I'll send you a new gerbera flower. So every time you miss me, look at those – flowers. Okay?” Ranum winked his right eye.
“Oke.” Kaitlyn smiled widely, her tiny teeth visible.
Ranum nodded, smiling. Immediately into his car, drove the car to his house which was only a few hundred meters from Claire's house.
