Ranum spurred the Aston Martin Vulcan very quickly on urban roads. “Where are we going?” Alexa asked, breaking the silence in the car.

“Ke somewhere.” Ranum answered briefly.

“Can I ask again?” Alexa asked again.

Ranum nodded.

“Why did you attack your father?”

Ranum sighed. “That virus took the lives of Chen Xiuhuan and his son.”

Alexa looked at Ranum confused.

“You remember that Chinese woman who came to my house the night you had an accident?” Ranum asked.

Alexa nodded.

“The woman's name is Chen Xiuhuan. I met him at the Wu.” family's villa

“The baby in the womb is your son?” Alexa asked.

Ranum laughed, shaking. “Chen never knew who the father of the baby was. He came to me as we were about to get off a ship. She asked me to accompany her to the hospital to abort her womb. But I refused, I gave her a little money to have that abortion.”

After Alexa leaves Ranum's house.

“Young Master, I'm in the hospital right now, where are you in position?” Gabriel's voice was heard across the phone.

Ranum nodded. “I'll be there soon.” Ranum turned off his phone. Hurry up to get the car keys. “I'll be back soon. When the courier delivering the food arrives, give me this money. Think of this house as your own home.” Ranum put money on the table.

“I don't know Young Master yet. No latest news.” Gabriel explained. But a man continued to babble in front of Gabriel.

“Who is this guy?” Ranum asked Gabriel.

“People whose car was hit by Alexa Young Master.”

Ranum nodded. “Let me finish it, go back to the horse race.”

Gabriel nodded, stepping away from the hospital.

“I will be responsible for all the losses you experience sir.” Ranum smiled.

But it didn't take long, Ranum threw a fist at the man's face. The man was lying on the floor. Ranum lifted the man's collar, making the man float in the air. “Take care of your mouth, or your fate will be the same as your car.” Ranum threw the man to the floor. The man immediately ran away with – pints with a nose that bleeds.

The day changed, Alexa was moved to the inpatient room. Ranum sat next to Alexa who was starting to wake up. Alexa wakes up in shock. “I where?” Alexa exclaimed, surprised. “What happened to me!” Alexa.

Ranum restrains Alexa's movements. “Calm down, you're in the hospital. You're safe here. I'll take care of you.” Ranum smiled at Alexa.

“What happened to me?” Alexa repeated her sentence.

Ranum. “You're okay, just a little bit injured. Rest again, I'll take care of you.” Ranum rubs Alexa's head.

Alexa cried, re-remembered the incident at Ranum's house.

“Why you?”

Alexa shook her head, not wanting to explain.

“You can tell me anything if something is weighing on you. Maybe by telling a story can help a little.” Ranum wiped Alexa's tears.

Alexa nodded, biting her lips.

A doctor came into the room.

The doctor was Dr. Lesley. Without saying much, Lesley's doctor immediately checked Alexa's condition.

“Do you know each other doc?” Alexa asked Lesley's doctor.

Doctor Lesley nodded slowly.

“He was the doctor who treated me when I was injured in prison.” Ranum answered briefly.

“But we have no special relationship, I'm just a doctor who takes care of his patients.” Doctor Lesley explained.

Alexa smile. “You don't need to explain that. I'm just a personal assistant, not her lover.”

Doctor Lesley smiled.

“How can you be in this state?” Ranum asked.

“The story is long, and I can't tell you everything. The point is a week ago I was offered a job at this hospital. For one reason or another, I turned down the offer to work here and continue to work as a doctor in prison. But for reasons that kept me in Goulborn disappeared a few days ago.
