OH MY DUDA

OH MY DUDA
Sloppy

Alena pushed Haxel's body away to escape her embrace. He was still shocked by the man's sudden treatment. He decided to leave the room without saying a word.

Haxel himself said nothing. He was not angry because Alena dared to push his body. He looks at Alena's departure until the woman disappears from the reach of the eye.

In the elevator, Alena cursed. He still did not expect that the man would do that to her.

"What's the matter with him exactly? She suspected me, and then hugged me. Apparently he took the wrong medication. He should have taken the tablets, but it looks like he's taking the syrup."

Alena shuddered. And unfortunately, he even remembered his conversation with Catherine yesterday afternoon at the restaurant.

"I think you should forget about Glen and there's no harm in being with Mr. Haxel."

Alena immediately dismissed that thought. But it kept disturbing his mind.

Ting ..

Elevator door opens. He had reached the cubicle floor where the employees worked. Catherine's smile and hand greeted him.

"So how, Alena? Can you still work here or have you been fired?"

Catherine's question attracted the attention of several other employees. The woman immediately pursed her lips because she was afraid of losing the double money that her best friend would change.

"Sorry .." Catherine said later.

Alena sat in her cubicle. Catherine looked towards the other employees who had already refocused on their respective computer screens.

"So how, Alena? Can you still work here or have you been fired?" reiterate Catherine but in a whisper.

Instead of getting an answer, Catherine actually got a sharp look from Alena.

"Yes, sorry .. I was just curious" Catherine said.

Not wanting to lose twice as much money as Alena, Catherine decided to stay quiet. Although honestly he was very curious what happened in master Haxel's room earlier. Whether his best friend can still work with him or is this the last day he sits next to Alena. I don't know, Alena made him die of curiosity.

"So you told Mr Haxel about Glen?"

"I didn't say his name."

Catherine nodded her head. "I thought you said who the lover you told her about."

"I don't think it's necessary" replied Alena.

They continued their lunch. This time I ordered a different menu. While Catherine was still faithful to the menu she ordered over the past week.

"Ah yes, Alena. I remember the conversation Mr. Haxel and his secretary had this morning. They said they wanted to meet with Glen. What would it be if the Glen they were referring to was your ex-boyfriend. And how would Mr. Haxel react if you mentioned Glen's name in your story."

"I didn't say his name until his reaction hugged me. Especially if I mention her name," Alena said involuntarily.

And look at Catherine's reaction now, she looks like a drought fish.

"What's? Mr Haxel hugged you?"

Alena regained her senses, she looked around the visitors to make sure they had not heard what Catherine had just said. Luckily they were busy with food and cell phones in each other's hands.

Catherine leaned her body.

"Alena, tell me one more time. Mr Haxel really hugged you?"

Alena drunk. I don't know, he was confused what to say. He's really careless. Why would he say that to Catherine. After this Catherine will definitely continue to corner herself.

"Ah, fuck. Why should I tell Catherine," Alena grumbled inwardly.
