OH MY DUDA

OH MY DUDA
Pick up

This morning Alena thought about what Haxel said last night if the man would pick her up this morning. What if the man doesn't mess with his words and actually comes to pick him up at home.

The woman walked down the stairs and rushed to the dining room for breakfast. However, by the time he got there, his steps stopped seeing the dining chair was filled by three people who were usually only two people.

"Good morning, Alena," said the man sitting across the dining chair where he used to be.

Instead of answering, Alena was stunned.

He spoke solemnly and came here to pick me up. He even went to breakfast with his mom.

"Alena, honey. Come on here for breakfast!"

His mother's words awakened Alena from all her thoughts. He nodded and continued to walk towards the dining table. Sit in the chair where he usually is.

Haxel seemed to throw a smile at her.

"Haxel came to pick you up because your car is still in the cafe, right?" asked Mr. Azel nodding by Alena.

"Yes, pa. But I can use another car, no need to be picked up" replied Alena.

"It could have been, Alena. It's just that papa and mama feel safer if you travel with him. And it will be so."

"I mean papa?"

Mr. Azel gave the code for his wife to continue speaking.

"From today on, Haxel will pick you up for work, baby. Haxel did not mind that. Don't you think, son Haxel?"

Haxel nodded in confirming. "Yes, Alena. Looks like you also need security so that guy doesn't bother you anymore."

"I don't need that. Even if I need to, I can hire a bodyguard to do it."

"That's all?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Really?"

"Hm."

Alena looked at the man with an indecipherable look. Why can my mom and dad trust that guy. Although Haxel was the son of a business friend, his papa should not have to be up to his side.

But because Haxel was the man who had saved her from Glen, Alena would not want to obey. And when he feels uncomfortable in the future, then he will ask both Haxel and his papa to stop this.

On the way to the office, there was no conversation between the two. Alena occasionally looked towards the man who seemed focused on driving. If you look around, what Catherine said was true too. Although the man had become a widower, but did not fade his good looks. Even the man looks more mature and certainly cool with a thin brew.

"Do I appeal to you?"

Haxel's question split the silence and made Alena instantly feel nervous.

"What does that mean?" alena asked as she turned her gaze in the other direction.

"I see with the tip of my tail, if you've been watching me ever since."

Alena no longer dared to look at the man. He tried to look the other way to avoid the man's face.

Ah, goddamn. I think he's just focused on the streets. Inner Alena in the heart.

Haxel reviewed a thin smile while shaking as Alena's facial expression turned nervous. After that, there were no more talks between the two until they arrived at the office.
