Exactly at half-eleven in the evening, Alena, her mom and dad came home. Since returning from the toilet earlier, Ms. Alfi felt that there was something strange about her daughter. Alena kept quiet.
Ms. Alfi looked back, where her daughter was sitting in the seat behind the wheel.
"Is there anything that bothers you?" asked the middle-aged woman and Alena shook her head.
"If something has happened, do not hesitate to tell the same story, dear mama," he persuaded.
"I'm fine, ma. I'm sleepy and I want to be there soon" replied Alena.
Madam Alfi could only sigh, he felt that if something had happened to his daughter. Butwhat? Could have something to do with Glen. Glen was gone at the same time as Alena. And back almost at the same time.
While Mr. Azel was silent but still watched his daughter from the rearview mirror hanging above him.
The streets are gone. Midnight is not too many vehicles that pass by so that it becomes a trip home so quickly to be compared with the time left earlier.
A man who had been sitting waiting for the car owner of the house is now standing up as soon as the car has started to be seen driving towards him and security immediately opened the gate. He shifted his plastic chair backwards and took a few steps back.
The view of Alena who had been empty was now on the man standing near the gate of the house. He lifted his body which was originally leaning on the back of the seat seat and began to sharpen his vision.
"Mr Haxel? Why is he here?" thought Alena while looking back because the car had driven through the gate.
Her mother and father got out of the car and rushed into the house. Alena was still standing next to the body. A security approached.
"Miss, someone wants to meet," the security told Reuters.
Alena nodded. "Yes, he's my boss in the office."
Alena covered her way from the security front to approach the man in front of the gate. While security was still silent at the answer of his employer's daughter.
"His boss at the office?" thought.
Haxel threw a smile as soon as Alena walked towards him. And now they stand facing each other.
"I'm sorry, is it here?" ask Alena without further ado.
"Waiting for you," the man replied creating a deep frown on Alena's forehead.
"For what? And, how do you know my house?"
Instead of answering Alena's question, Haxel smiled, which made the woman feel astonished.
"It's easy for me to find your home address. Including your phone number."
Alena was silent for a moment. He remembered the message he had received from a foreign number. And he remembered Glen's reply back at the restaurant.
"So, who sent the message earlier .."
"What is your purpose in sending such a message to me? And what's your goal until you get here in the middle of the night?"
"Actually I came three hours ago. I'm waiting for you because there's something I want to give you back."
Haxel reached into something from his pants pocket. Then give something to Alena.
"It's yours, isn't it?"
A plain clear white ring with a speck of gem in the middle made Alena suddenly check her fingers. And he realized that the ring had slipped from his finger.
Alena took the ring from Haxel's hand.
"Where did you get this?"
"In my room. Maybe it fell when you came into my room this morning" replied Haxel.
"It's a little loose, and I didn't realize it was coming off my finger."
Alena pinned the ring back to her ring finger.
"That must be very valuable to you. Therefore I came here to return it to you."
"Thank you" said Alena. "But why don't you give it to me when we meet in the parking lot? Or maybe tomorrow. No need to come here."
Haxel sounded out a long sigh.
"I think the ring is precious to you. I remember your story about rabbits, you dared to leave the office and break the rules of the company for a precious rabbit. So I decided to return it as soon as possible. Because I forgot to return it when we met in the parking lot."
"This ring is valuable, but different from rabbits. This ring has absolutely nothing to do with my ex-lover. This is a gift from the Ellanor oma before she breathes her last," explained Alena.
"Oh, apparently so. Luckily the ring fell in my room. Next time wear hansaplast if loose. Or don't you just keep and keep the things you think are valuable so you don't lose them."
"Okay, thank you" Alena said.
"Yes, equally. Then I'll go straight home. Greetings to your parents. See you tomorrow at the office" said Haxel.
Alena just nodded. He stared at the back of Haxel's departure until he got into the car.
Haxel opened the glass of his car door, nodded his head and honked once. Unknowingly, Alena raised her hand to wave at the man.
After Haxel's car left, Alena lowered her hand in conscious awareness.
"Ah my goodness, Alena .. What did you just do?" he muttered to himself, then rushed into the house because of the cold of the night.
