OH MY DUDA

OH MY DUDA
Nervous

While Catherine was examined by the Doctor, Alena and Haxel sat in a row of iron chairs in front of the room.

"Alena," call Haxel's sir in doubt.

"Yes. Why, sir?" tell that woman.

Actually Haxel did not want to question this, but this was important to him for the sake of the good name of the company.

"Is your best friend really pregnant?"

Alena immediately turned her gaze in the other direction while holding back the laughter that almost gushed from her mouth. Seeing Alena's reaction, Haxel was astonished.

"Why? Is something wrong?"

Alena shook her head then immediately controlled herself so as not to laugh with the silly question of the man beside her.

"No, no. I was wrong. So, I was just kidding because Catherine was in so much pain that her face was pale" Alena replied.

"Oh, so. I think she's really pregnant and about to miscarry."

"Catherine never dated, and did not want to date. So she can't possibly get pregnant outside of a marriage."

Haxel nodded. But immediately the look on her face changed and made Alena feel something strange.

"Do you know the characteristics of people who want to miscarry?" ask Alena later.

The man looked up and then nodded. "Yes. I lost my future son because my ex-wife miscarried. He's spitting out the fluid along with the blood."

Alena slowly pursed her lips. He unconsciously opened the man's wounds.

"Sorry, I don't know if it's-"

"No problem. It's not your fault" Haxel concluded.

The two then shut up. Alena really felt disinclined because it made the man sad. Not long after a Doctor who examined Catherine came out of the room.

Alena immediately stood up to ask the situation of her best friend.

"No need to worry, my lady friend has regular diarrhea. Later will be given a reliever medication. Because during the examination earlier, friends miss up to three times permission to go to the toilet," explained the Doctor.

"Oh, that's worth a while."

The doctor also left after prescribing drugs that must be redeemed. Then Alena went into the room. Haxel chose to wait outside.

Catherine said she was better now. So he just wanted to go home. Haxel gave the woman permission to go home and rest and if tomorrow still has not subsided the pain, there is no need to enter the office.

The woman is also allowed to go home to ride an online motorcycle because she does not want to be troublesome. Alena returns to the office with Haxel alone. There was only silence and awkwardness in the car during the trip. No chatter going on.

Haxel did not take Alena to his office, but instead took the woman to the restaurant to pick up the car at the woman's own request.

"You don't have to go back to the office anymore, you can just go home. It's nearing home time anyway" the man ordered.

"Can I really go home now?"

Haxel nodded in confirming. "Yes. You just go home, rest. Tomorrow morning back to work as usual."

"Good, sir."

Alena was shocked when the man opened the door when he was about to reach for the door. For a moment their gazes met each other. Alena immediately turned her eyes in the other direction.

"Thank you" said Alena then got into her car and Haxel slightly held the door so as not to just close it.

"Be careful .." said Haxel and there Alena was nervous and misbehaved.

"I-iya," Alena replied without being able to return Haxel's gaze towards her.

Haxel shut Alena's car door. And a little bit away from there. Alena immediately turned on her car engine to get away from the courtyard of the restaurant.

Haxel was seen waving his hands from a distance. Alena pretended not to see it so that the focus of driving is not lost.

Come, Alena. Don't be like this. Why are you nervous about dealing with Mr. Haxel. Remember, he's just your leader in the company. Not more.
