Ch 29: Second Stage Chunin Exam

The Forest of Death -

Several minutes had passed since the beginning of the Second Stage Chunin Examination.

Hibachi, Ami, and Sakura were currently standing on the edge of the Deathly Forest, discussing what plan they should take for now.

"So, any plans, guys?" Sakura asked the two.

Not surprisingly to him, the two shook their heads helplessly.

But then, Hibachi took out a storage scroll from his pocket, and somehow intrigued the two girls.

"Pulse.. Sanada-sensei that we should open this after we get into the second stage. However, I really don't know what this is."

Hibachi then proceeded to do as Sanada told him. He lifted the seal on the storage scroll and opened the items stored inside.

Poof!!!

A huge smoke appeared the moment it opened.

But when the three of them saw what was in front of them, they felt like they were being played with by Sanada.

(Sanada-sensei. this is too much, right.) The three disciples thought in their hearts.

In front of them there is currently a camping package complete with tents, bbq, even some emergency food in the form of bacon and rations.

If the other Candidates saw this, they would definitely ask the three of them whether they would take the exam or go on a picnic.

Specific guidelines for the second stage exam? Isn't this cheating, Sanada-Sensei? What the hell is that lullaby? Do you think this is a school trip?

Hibachi then proceeded to open the pages of the guidebook specially prepared by Sanada-Sensei.

The manual actually contained almost all of the knowledge Sanada had about the Deathly Forest.

From its basic topology, wildlife, and also its dangers.

There was also some basic information about some of the participants of the Second Stage Chunin Examination, from the most dangerous to the harmless. But the thing that caught Hibachi's attention the most were the two "Don't Approach" labels in the book. Gaara of the Sand, and the Genin team from Hidden Grass Village (Kusagakure).

Although they had all the means to survive at night, they still wanted to at least reduce the distance between them and the tower.

"Are you ready, Hibachi?" Sakura and Ami were waiting from the side.

"Yup, everything's fine and ready to go!" Hibachi said cheerfully. He had read all the important information Sanada highlighted in the book, and now his confidence was as high as ever.

The three nodded at each other and started moving.

After training with Sanada, the chakra control of the three could be said to be quite extraordinary. They moved from tree to tree without wasting any movement.
