Ch 14: Battle of the bridge

Over the next few days, Sanada continued the training of his three students.

Hibachi and Ami finally completed the tree-climbing exercise and are now ready to move on to the next stage of the exercise, which is the water-walking exercise.

Sasuke stopped coming after the second day when Kakashi had recovered and trained with his own team. However, he was shocked when he saw Kakashi actually giving them the same training method as Sanada.

And for Sakura, Sanada has decided to stop the chakra nature training after Sakura is able to make half of her leaves wet with water.

"Well, yeah... Looks like my prediction's right... That little mask.." Kakashi said as he stared at the figure next to Zabuza, who was none other than Haku.

Yup, things are going according to plan, and for now, Sanada has no plans to interfere.

"I, face this brat one on one!" Zabuza.

And soon, Haku's figure turned into a whirlwind that shot past him as he headed towards Sasuke.

A needle and a kunai fended off each other's attacks. Haku faces Sasuke one-on-one, while Sanada and Sakura watch from the side.

"Umm. sensei, shouldn't we move now?" Sakura said while worrying about Sasuke. Although the feeling slowly faded, Sakura was still worried Sasuke would not be able to face the masked figure.

"No, don't worry. It's gonna be over soon." Said Sanada lazily.

"You mean, the masked man wasn't Sasuke's opponent?" Sakura widened her eyes in shock as she thought that the masked person was quite strong.

"No, quite the opposite. Sasuke was just trash compared to other men. Remember Sakura, the Uchiha is overkill."
