Day 23: Sanada Vs Sakura

Author Note:[Another chapter of the Sakura teacher system is >_<, but yes, I want to make Hibachi and Ami training a surprise for the Chunin Exams. Can anyone guess how Sanada trained them?]

About a month later, at the Konoha training ground for the 6th team.

Sakura and Sanada were doing close combat training, while Hibachi and Ami were watching from the side.

After working with Sanada at the restaurant, their passion to become a ninja slowly dwindles. And the only reason they haven't stopped being ninjas is because they don't know what to say to Sanada.

Since Sanada never told them his true intentions, Hibachi and Ami always thought that Sanada wished them to be ninjas. And they don't want to disappoint Sanada about that. Especially after their economic conditions are much better since they worked in Sanada restaurants.

Just like Sakura, Hibachi and Ami have now turned into little fans of Sanada, and they never complain about Sanada siding with Sakura again.

Now returning to the debate between Sakura and Sanada, Sakura tries to take the initiative by running towards Sanada.

"Good, but if the difference between you and your enemy is too great, this will only be a stupid tactic." Sanada said while easily dodging Sakura's punch by tilting her head.

The two flashed back and forth as they exchanged blows and kicks several times. Sakura was able to dodge a few of Sanada's punches and tried to counterattack, but all of them were easily deflected by Sanada.

Sanada catches Sakura's hand and is about to kick her stomach, but this time, Sakura's body suddenly turns into a piece of wood.

'Kawarimi no jutsu (Jutsu Turnover)!'

BANG!!!

Sanada's kick hit the wood. And at this time, the original Sakura appears right behind Sanada, assuming the basic style of fish-man karate.

"Karakusagawara!!!"

Looking at the scene before their eyes, Hibachi and Ami were shocked all over their faces. Could it be that their sensei will be defeated by Sakura today?

Sakura's skill is good, and Sanada has to admit it. But to defeat him? Sakura is 100 years too early.

As the shockwave launched from Sakura's punch and was about to hit Sanada, a smile appeared on Sanada's face.*Bang*Sanada's body turned into a white mist before finally turning into a piece of wood.

Sanada reappeared a few meters in front of Sakura, with the same smile as all the unprecedented battles.

Sakura seemed a little frustrated, but she had no intention of giving up.

Sakura has been arguing with Sanada almost every day, and she has been observing Sanada all the way. From his observation, he could see that this Sanada standing in front of him should only be a decoy, and the real Sanada was definitely hiding somewhere else, trying to make him off guard.

Of course, this does not mean Sakura's reconnaissance ability is good. Sanada purposely let in the water because it was just a friendly spar.

Kunai and the shuriken made a sound of breaking in the air as Sakura launched her towards Sanada.

Sakura was ready to hurry by the time Sanada fended off the kunai, but then, something completely unexpected happened to her.

After the kunai is thrown, Sakura sees the kunai and shuriken flying towards Sanada, but Sanada is late to escape and is shot.

Sakura's face exuded a hint of horror as she thought she had inflicted a fatal injury to her sensei. But soon after, there was a "explosion" sound once again and the "Sanada" figure disappeared.

Sakura was too late to realize that it was just a clone, and the real Sanada was actually the one standing in front of her with a harmless smile all along.

The real Sanada flashed and appeared right next to Sakura, making use of the gap created by the clone and managed to put his hand on Sakura's neck.

"You lost Sakura." Sanada said as she removed her grip from Sakura's neck and proceeded to pat Sakura's head.

Sakura felt a little lost upon hearing Sanada's words. But when he felt that big hand was placed on his head, he quickly recovered as he enjoyed Sanada's touch on his head.

It had been their routine that Sanada always played with Sakura's head after their sparring, and Sakura had always enjoyed this moment.

Sanada then starts telling Sakura about all the mistakes she made in the final battle. From how he became indecisive after he threw the kunai, Sanada's overconfidence in front of him as a clone, and how he had no backup plan for any of it. However, Sanada did not forget to praise Sakura. Sakura currently actually has the power of Chunin, and Sanada is proud of that.

After using the Basic Physique power-up card, Sakura's physique had been upgraded to a higher level, and it could be said that her speed was now only one level below Lee, who had yet to lose her weight.

With the help of some fish-man karate techniques and the Lapras summoning scroll that Sanada had prepared for Sakura, it could be said that Chunin's exam was as good as it was in the bag.

Sanada was still discussing with Sakura about her weaknesses in the battle and what to do. But at this moment, several masked figures suddenly appeared on the training ground.

"Kaedehara Sanada, the third Hokage called out. Please don't be late this time."

After saying those words, the masked figure disappeared again. But Sanada was left with joy on his face.

'Is this finally the time? Our Chunin exam is coming.'
