Chapters 114. Preliminary decision

The next morning Ryan, Aditya and Dafa return to find the three of them. Jelita and Rita wait at home. They wait in anxiety. Jelita checked her phone again, she had contacted Dilla yesterday but none of her phones were picked up and her message read the same as Dilla. 

When she wants to send Dilla a message again, Jelita sees that the message has been read by Dilla. Jelita called Dilla back immediately.

Rita only saw Jelita who was on the phone, she thought it was Dafa. 

"Hallo Dilla" said Jelita.

Rita who heard Jelita mention Dilla's name just responded. 

"Who's Jelita, is it Dilla who answered her phone?" ask Rita. 

"Yes Aunty, Dilla picked up the phone. Auntie, Jelita asked Dilla." 

Rita again heard the conversation between Jelita and Dilla, Jelita had raised the volume of the phone. The two of them heaved a sigh of relief when they found out that Rio, Reza and Rafa had reached Dilla's place safely. 

After receiving the news, Jelita switched off her phone and called Ryan and Dafa to join them if they were found. Ryan and Dafa immediately returned home when they got the news. 

Now they will discuss what steps they will take in the future. 

"It's better to leave them where Dilla was, and tomorrow we'll pick up the three of them" Rita said.

"But Ma, they're Ryan's kids, Ryan doesn't want to be away from Ryan Ma's kids" Ryan replied. 

"They are indeed your children but they consider Dilla to be their Mother. They haven't seen Dilla for a long time, let them let go of their longing" Rita added. 

"Just like your mom Ryan said. Let the three of them temporarily remain in Dilla's place. Tomorrow morning we will catch up with the three of them" continued Aditya.

 Their deal was that they would pick up Rio, Reza and Rafa the next morning.

That night Jelita wanted to see Ryan in her study. He wants to talk about something between Dilla and Ryan. This afternoon Jelita had contacted Dilla back and she had gotten information that Dilla was not getting married.

After getting permission from Ryan, Jelita just entered Ryan's workspace.

"Ryan, there's something I want to talk to you about" Jelita said. 

"What do you want to talk about" Ryan said after allowing Jelita to sit down.

"I won't be stale, I'll just ask the point. I wonder how you feel about Dilla, you know what I mean?" ask Jelita.

Ryan did not expect Jelita's question. He was shocked to hear the question from Jelita. 

"What do you mean you ask that?" ask Ryan back.

Jelita sighed before answering Ryan's question.

"Last afternoon I had news that Dillaa was postponing the wedding." 

Ryan who heard it had a little bit of gratitude.

"Now try to be honest with me how you feel about Dilla."

"What should I say, there seems to be nothing I need to say." 

"Ryan I know how your character is. I know that you are the loyal type but you must remember your children and your own feelings. You have the right to choose Ryan's new best man. Now that Dilla's resigned her marriage, if you really like her, you still have a chance to get her."

"Why do you say that, even if the marriage is delayed, she will definitely continue the marriage." 

Jelita felt anxious with Ryan's convoluted answer. Jelita turns her mind around to get Ryan's feelings out.

Ryan recalled the time of his meeting with Dilla. And all the moments with Dilla.

"Dilla's a very nice girl, I feel comfortable around her. I don't know why if he's around me I don't feel uncomfortable with him. He is different from other women. He's a fun kid when he's joking around" Ryan said, chuckling to himself.

Ryan sighed, it seemed like it was time for him to also tell other people. He also needs a friend to confide in.

"I don't know what I'm really feeling. On one hand I still love Riana a lot, but when I heard that Dilla was getting married to another man, there was a part on my chest that hurt." 

Jelita smiled at Ryan's statement. As expected, Ryan already loved Dilla, but she did not realize it. 

"As I thought, you've actually been looking for Dilla, but since you still remember your loyal promise to Riana, you've rejected Dilla's presence. You didn't realize it, when you mentioned Riana your expression was ordinary, but when you mentioned Dilla you could smile loosely."

Ryan did not realize the same expression of his own. When he spoke earlier indeed when mentioning the name Dilla there was a sense of pleasure in itself.

"Whatever I feel now is too late Jelita. He's getting married to someone else. Moreover, he had loved another man."

"Do you know who Dilla likes?" 

"Do what I know."

"So you didn't ask Dilla who she loved?"

Ryan shook his head. 

"Originally you know Ryan, if the man Dilla loves is you."

Ryan was shocked to hear this statement.

Ryan didn't expect Dilla to fall in love with him. 

"How can you?" ryan did not believe 

"Why can't it?" ask Jelita back.

"I am a widower with two children. Moreover, Dilla is very young," Ryan said in disbelief. 

"Why if you are a widower? you are older than Dilla, but at a young age Dilla can act more mature than you. Love does not look at age and status. Do you still not believe my words?"

"You don't say anything that's impossible to influence me."

"What do I say if it's not true. What's in it for me." challenge Jelita.

"But what does he like about a guy like me? I even told Dilla not to like me even if I was joking. Even I've hurt her, too" asked Ryan.

"What's wrong with a guy like you. You are a good man and also considerate if you are close. Now try to compare you and me, I have repeatedly rejected Dafa, often angry with him, but he still loves me. Maybe he's the only guy in the world there's a guy like him. She still survives even though I've abandoned her and I'm the luckiest woman in the world because I didn't lose her."

"Ryan love can come because of its togetherness. Looks like you should think about this mature thing. You only have one more chance to get Dilla. You need to act fast before you lose your loved one a second time. This time it is not only you who feel the pain of loss but also your two children with Dilla," said Jelita.

After Jelita said so, she immediately walked out of Ryan's study. Jelita wants Ryan to rethink his decision.

All of Jelita's words now revolved around Ryan's head. Ryan can no longer deny his feelings, he admits if he's afraid of losing Dilla. Especially after knowing that Dilla also loves Him. After careful thought, Ryan wanted to choose for their happiness.

The next morning Ryan asks his family not to accompany Ryan to Dilla's hometown. Ryan told them that he wanted to explain something important to Dilla. Although the others are curious but they agree Ryan went alone.

Jelita who saw there was a chance Ryan wanted to discuss his feelings to Dilla he helped give understanding to the family.
