#52. The Hutama Flashback III

..."Unasked, my heart just moved to protect you and Farel," ...

...Hutam...

...

...

Almost half an hour Farel sat sweetly on Hutama's lap until he fell asleep with a milk bottle still hanging neatly in his mouth.

The fever had gone down which made Raima feel relieved. In fact, little Farel had a fever, but usually only at night because the poor boy had nightmares almost every night. Raima doesn't know why this afternoon Farel has a fever.

"Farel was asleep, May?" No one can make Farel sick unless he has a nightmare. That's why Raima asked to be sure.

"Yes, he fell asleep and I played in the park,"

It's true Raima's guess. There was nothing Raima could do but sigh. Raima is really worried about the psychic of the child. Feeling sad because to sleep well his son can not. Maybe they are free from Adji, but not with the pain that Adji gives.

"Why, Ma? I wrong?" Mayang asked looking at another expression from Raima.

"No, May, you don't admit to any wrongdoing" Raima smiled as she rubbed Mayang's arm.

"Why are you breathing that way?"

"Farel can't sleep well, May. Every sleep he always ngigau and wake up in a state of fever. His sleep was never good," explained Raima staring at her son who was still asleep in the lap of Hutama.

"Why?" Hutama asked in wonder.

A soft smile was clearly visible on Raima's face, "Only circumstances have changed, but not with her injuries" Raima replied indistinctly, while Hutama just nodded trying to understand.

"Wouldn't you take her to a psychiatrist?"

"I tried, but Farel didn't want to be with his doctor. She'll cry loudly in my arms,"

Shut up, not asking any further. Afraid that he would mispronounce and make the woman in front of him even more hurt.

"Where's the room? Let Farel sleep comfortably," Hutama switched the conversation.

"This, sir," Raima got up from her seat and pointed to her room.

"Can I come in?"

"Please, Sir! Farel's in bed,"

Hutama nodded and entered the room after getting permission from the room owner.

"What's so good, Ma?" Bisik Mayang who got delicacy from Raima.

"Ma, Ma," a small whimper was heard from Farel as Hutama lay down his body on the bed.

"The heat is rising again" said Hutama again holding Farel when he felt the tiny hand heat up.

"What should I do, May? I couldn't see my son suffer" said Raima, turning her back to Hutama so that he wouldn't see her tears.

"You and Farel must be strong, Ma. I am sure God will make it easier for you. Don't forget, May, God is always with us! Allah is in love with you and Farel" Mayang embraced the fragile body of Raima. Letting the figure of the mother spill her pain.

Hutama did not want to disturb the two women. All he did was continue to rub the little Farel's back while having a good look, hoping that the poor boy would calm down a little.

"Ma" said little Farel.

Raima was able to hear the cry and escape from Mayang's embrace. Rubbing his tears and approaching the child.

"Umma is here. What's Umma's son want?" Tanya Raima held Farel.

Farel's warm hands cupped the umma's face. Her clear round eyes were down the face of her first love.

"Umma no papa, no one is sick anymore. There is nothing evil with Umma," Raima understood Farel's intentions. The boy saw whether on his face there were wounds like those of the past. For little Farel, the dream was very real and he thought the umma was really hurt.

"Akut," murmured Farel hugged Raima tightly. Raima also replied that she was not less tight. For Raima, Farel is everything. Farel felt a much more painful trauma than he did. Because of Farel, Raima was able to be at his current point.

For some reason, Hutama also felt the pain of the mother and child. Without excuse, Hutama came out of the room to contact someone. Only Mayang realized his departure

"Where are the people? Cake at home alone," muttered Mayang astonished.

"I went to the musholla first" Hutama went back in when he heard the voice of the azan.

"Yes, the mosque is at the end of the street. Not far from here, sir,"

Hutama nodded, "Is there anyone selling food?" Ask Hutama.

"There is, from here before the musholla there is a small restaurant,"

Again Hutama just nodded, "Farel want what? Later bought," Hutama's big hand was moved rubbing Farel's head.

"Andy,"

"Candy. Candy, sir," explained Raima who made Hutama understand. It turns out that boy knew English candy.

"Later bring it. But when I get home, you're not hot anymore, are you?"

As if to understand, little Farel nodded in excitement. A small smile was clearly imprinted on Hutama. His heart warmed to see the sparkling face of little Farel.

"I'm going first. If someone comes, it's my friend. He'll check on Farel later. Assalamu'alaikum,"

"Wa'alaikumussalam,"

Hutama kissed Farel on the forehead and walked away. In the steps away from him, Hutama could hear a small laugh from Farel. And the sound of laughter makes Hutama happy.

"Crazy! Original father able tuh people," amazed Mayang.

"What the hell, May?! Pray there, change Farel's guard,"

"Yes," said Mayang immediately take ablution and perform the prayer of zuhr.

Hutama long gone, almost an hour and finally his car back parked neatly in front of the contract. At the same time, there was a sedan that stopped.

The driver came out together and tos each other like a man. I don't know what they're talking about, Raima doesn't hear it. But Raima believes the man in the sedan is Hutama's friend who will check on Farel.

"Assalamu'alaikum," the two men entered which was of course welcomed by Raima.

"Wa'alaikumussalam,"

"He's my best friend, Sham," Hutama introduced the man.

"I'm Raima" said Raima, continuing to bow her head.

"I am Sham, a friend of Hutama. He said, Your son needs psychiatry, "Raima just nodded in response.

"Where is Farel?" Tanya Hutama while putting her luggage on the hairy carpet.

"Sama Mayang playing in the room,"

Without much talk and permission, Hutama went straight into the room to meet Farel. It was only a moment, and Hutama felt heavy leaving the boy.

"Nyelonong was just a person," Sham stared unpleasantly at Raima, while Raima only smiled faintly in her submission.

"Ma, that's lunch. Ready plates!" Hutama came out holding Farel.

"Well at home, huh, lo, Tam?!" Syam Syndir that Hutama did not respond to.

"Huhu?" Farel asked when he saw Sham.

"Om Sham, my friend," explained Hutama understood by Farel's question.

"Well!! You speak English?" Syam looked in admiration Farel.

"Farel often learns from YouTube Kids, so he can quite a bit with some English vocabulary," Raima came from the kitchen with a plate in his hand, while Mayang with drinking water in his hand.

"That's good, a useful spectacle," praises Sham rubbed Farel's head, but was immediately pushed aside quietly by Farel, a sign he did not want to be touched by Sham.

"Eh?! You don't want to be touched by Om?"

Farel did not answer, he just looked up and leaned back comfortably in Hutama's chest.

"He doesn't want to be with you" Mayang said, chuckling softly, making Syam very upset.

"Sorry, Sir. Farel sometimes it is," Raima said unkindly.

"It's okay. It is natural for children to keep their distance from new people. But it seems to be an exception for Tama," Syam glanced at his best friend's ignorant.

"Whele my andy?" Farel made a funny voice while staring at the innocent Hutama.

"There, but eat first, and then the candy is given,"

"I bought baby porridge for Farel. Can you eat porridge, right?" Ask Hutama to Raima.

"Can. Farel is here Umma! Umm bribe," Raima was about to reach her son, but the rejection she again received.

"I did" Hutama took the baby's porridge and began to feed Farel. Fortunately, the boy ate very well.

"Wear what pellets, Tam? Sticky farel is really the same lo," surprised Syam who was only greeted by a cynical gaze by Hutama.

They eat very well and very well. Only occasionally there was a whimper from Farel which fortunately Hutama was patient with him.

"I'm checking Farel out right now, okay? An hour later I had to go back to the hospital, "Sham broke the silence after lunch.
