..."A year you're gone. Lo where is it? I'd like to see you again, Rel,"...
...Dylan...
Over time, there will be many changes that occur, whether in attitude or life. For sure, life will continue to walk away from the past and start a new life every day.
Without them knowing, Farel had left them for a year with no certainty where the man had gone. Over the course of a year, they have undergone many changes. The one who used to laugh a lot, now turned quiet. The quieter is becoming more silent. The rough gets rough. And the presence of new people they can not avoid even if they refuse.
"Ma! Ma!" The cute voice distracts Raima, umma Farel who has always missed her son.
Raima turned to her little son who was playing on the bed. His small hand held a photo that increasingly cut Raima's heart.
"Why? Adek's thirsty?" Raima asked gently.
The one-year-old boy shook his head in a funny way, "No!"
"So? Sleepy-ass?"
"No!"
"Yes, play with Umma,"
"No!"
Raima chuckles at the response of her youngest child who always answers 'no'. His hand was also moved rubbing the son's milk chocolate bushy hair.
"Abah's son, why the same Umma? How's his face ugly?" Hutama went into the room with his calm face and joined his wife's son.
"Abil nda's eyek!" The boy looked at the brother in annoyance at calling himself ugly.
Hutama and Raima chuckled at the behavior of their youngest child. The birth of their son seemed to be a remedy for their sadness for the passing of Farel who did not know where.
Abilash Shaquille Pramayudha
It was the name Hutama had set for his youngest son. Abilash was the name Farel had chosen before he left. Hutama found the name in Farel's room.
As the name implies, Abilash really becomes a complement in their midst. The handsome face was already clearly visible to Abilash who was familiarly called Abil. His face is similar to that of Farel and Raima. His eyes were sharp and his nose was sharp just like Farel's. While the lips and skin color are the same as Hutama. For her hair is the same as Raima's. Truly a complement to the Pramayudha family.
"Yes, handsome geek. Kan Abil the son of Abah, "the wrath of Hutama brought Abil into his lap.
"Who's got a picture of who?" Tanya Hutama glanced at the reverse photo that Abil was holding.
"Ni capa?" Abil asked with her tiny index finger on the face of the man in the photo.
Hutama and Raima froze for a moment. They did not expect that their little son would quickly realize the absence of Farel.
"Who does not know who it is?" Hutama asked with a trembling voice, and it was the trinket that Hutama received from Abil.
"He was Abang Farel, Abil's brother, Nia's brother, Zira's sister,"
"Bang Allel?"
"Yes, Abang Farel. Bull, right? Same as Adek,"
"Where's Bang Allel?"
"Bang Farel is in school. The school is far away. Later when it is ready for school, Abang Farel came home," Hutama chatted without caring that Abil would understand or not.
"Skul?"
"Yes,"
"Change, Umma, there is Bang RANDA below," Nia went into the room and said so.
"Who? RANDA's coming?" Hutama and only Nia.
"Yes, let's go down!" Hutama immediately took Abil to his carrier.
"Ima wants to go to the bathroom first," without waiting for a reply from the husband, Raima went straight into the bathroom.
Hutama stared at the tightly closed bathroom. He knew that his wife must have missed their first son terribly. Hutama also felt what Raima felt. Farel may not have been his son, but Hutama really loved Farel more than himself.
"RANDA wasn't in college playing here?" The question was directly Hutama catapulted when dealing with RANDA, the friends of Farel who until now still so.
"No, Bah. Our schedule is all on empty, so play here," explained Adam who is hailed Hutama.
"Why is Abah on me? Not ashamed it's still big on me?" Dylan started to harass Abil. Dylan had indeed become a more reserved figure, but the man had become like he used to be when he was with Abil.
"Abil is a little mace," replied Abil cuek, it feels exactly like Farel who will always be indifferent even though he was investigated.
"Then anyway? Try here my brother! Still light or heavy?" Dylan immediately took over Abil even though the boy had rebelled.
"The heavy stuff. Abil's mark was great,"
"Little!"
"Big!"
"Little!"
"Big!"
"Little!"
"Little!"
"Guil!"
"Nahh right! Abil is great," Dylan laughed happily because he succeeded in convicting Abil.
"Dyan eyek! Bang Allel the henchman, cam Abil," Abil showed a photo of Farel still in his possession. Dylan's laughter stopped for a moment.
Dylan smiled faintly, his hands moved wiping the photo, even his eyes reddened, ready to cry, his lips began to tremble.
"Lo how are you, Rail? I miss the same lo. Do you know, if now I'm studying business? RANDA others also study according to the majors they want. Do you remember the major of our dreams? I'm the same business major as Adam. Afnan Medicine and Yusuf majoring in Architects. Are you there in the department you want? Business majors? Like me and Adam?" Dylan said in his heart.
"Bang Dyna napa? How's angis? Bang Dyan engeng, Bah," Abil made a voice that resuscitated Dylan's daydream.
Dylan chuckled discordantly and immediately wiped away his tears that had somehow broken through his defenses to keep from crying.
"Abang was not crying, just a glint," said Dylan while rubbing Abil's head.
Abil stood up from Dylan's lap. Her tiny hands cupped Dylan's face, staring at the man's shady eyes. His thumb wiped Dylan's tears.
"Withful angis! Abil ndak vinegar Bang Yan angis,"
Dylan laughed with tears. He took Abil into his arms and cried in the arms of the one-year-old yet intelligent boy.
"Abil is like lo, Rails. It always can and always is there for me" Dylan said.
"Are you ma--loh? Dylan why cry?" Tanya Raima approached those who were silent.
Dylan immediately wiped away his tears, "No papa, Ma. Only moved earlier Abil said that Dylan was handsome," explained Dylan chuckling discordantly, Raima just nodded her head assenting even though she knew that was not the cause.
"Have you eaten yet? Lunch here together" said Raima.
"We come here to eat, Ma," Joseph made Raima smile.
"Yes, let's go to the dining room!" Raima took them while holding Abil.
"Au cama Bang Yan," Abil rebelled in Umma's arms and pointed his hand at Dylan to have him carry her.
"Gak ah, Abil is heavy, Brother is not strong," ignorant Dylan.
"YYYYYYYY!" Abil yelled in annoyance and made Dylan laugh.
"Basar crybaby! That's how we cry," sneered Dylan and took over Abil from Raima.
"Abil ndak angis. Said Eil, Abil ndak by angis, anti ndak angg agi,"
"Yes, who is the grandson of Eil," now replace Zira who mocked his sister.
"What's that for?"
"If it's big then you know," said Nia.
"Abil is ecal,"
"Then anyway? Try saying 'R', can't you?" Challenge Adam who immediately got a careless look from Abil. Out of nowhere the boy learned about the infuriating response, like his current careless face.
"Assalamu'alaikum" the greeting made them turn and find Xander and his wife's children.
"Wa'alaikumussalam,"
"Make sure you want to eat" guess Hutama.
"Sure, what else?" Xander leisurely sat on one of the chairs while holding his little daughter.
Over the past year, Xander and Hutama have become like family. In addition to Raima and Mayang know each other, it is also because they both lost Farel.
"Like you poor people just eat here," cynical Hutama.
"As long as you can ask, why make your own food?" Xander began to take his food, even though the host had not taken his food.
"If you see noisily continues," astonished Mayang took over his daughter so that her husband could eat freely.
"Bil, Eil you are" Dylan whispered to Abil who was staring at Xander and Mayang's daughter.
"Law. Antique eil, there was a unga in his palm," Abil replied without turning his head from the little girl he had spent two months under him.
The girl's name is Nashville Xama Atmaja. The beautiful toddler whom they often called Eil was currently wearing a light purple dress with a flower bando on her head. Eil is currently engrossed in his toys, not caring about Abil for a while.
"Still small already know which one you are beautiful," said Xander who apparently heard the conversation Dylan and Abil.
"Om what's the big one?" Abil asked not to understand.
"Still small, won't understand. Eating a lot of big chips, "Xander who was sitting next to Dylan, made it easier for the man to wipe Abil's hair.
"Well, we'll go to the pesantren. Wanna come?" Afnan diverted the conversation.
"Gapain to get there?" Ask Zira. Don't forget that the one asking this time is the one Afnan loved from his newborn into the world.
"Check Fisha. All Dylan met Milea, just as Adam and Joseph like to meet the girls," explained Afnan.
"Gue jomlo, mon maap," Adam and Joseph were upset together.
"Lo style jomlo-jomlo but if you meet peep-intipan. I think I, frankly, love Milea!" Ejek Dylan's.
"Brain!"
"Sotoy lo, Dylan 1999,"
"Deeds,"
"That's not the first time. There's still a lot of work. You guys want to go get some?" Hutama is back.
"No, midnight is home. The day after we went to college,"
"Yes, be careful. Titipin greetings to Fisha and the others,"
Fisha and other exchange students have returned to the pesantren in Bandung right when the class rises. Speaking of their desire to visit Fisha, it is now their routine. There's no particular reason. Just feel like they need to do that.
This is how they lived the last year without Farel. If there is happiness, they are grateful even though the shadow of Farel's departure is very visible and haunts them. However, as much as they can to get up and keep on holding on, because they are sure, Farel wants them to be okay even without him.
