When the time came home from school, Chandra was more hasty to put some books in his laptop bag. Outside, Shila's car is already parked, and letting her wait is one of the big sins Chandra should avoid before getting a tantrum from her wife. In fact, the sheets of paper that he did not have time to enter, were immediately taken away by Chandra. Although the zipper of the bag is not fully closed. Or, even though he was greeted and spoken to by fellow teachers.
Can't do. Chandra should not waste more time on things that could make Shila wait any longer. He even wanted to run to get to his wife, but the demands of being a charismatic teacher prevented him from doing so. Instead, each step Chandra takes is so wide and fairly fast compared to the average human. Every now and then, he glanced at the watch, making sure that there were still three minutes before Shila actually went berserk.
The man finally arrived beside the body of the car that opened the door. Before entering, the tail of Chandra's eyes caught the figure of— luring him to turn his head that is less than two seconds so as not to attract the attention of Shila. Chandra just wanted to make sure that the girls in particular were okay.
And, that's how it is. Mishall is fine. Chandra's feelings are excessive because of Mishall's cold attitude earlier.
The man then slipped his body in the back seat of the car. The driver waited outside, closed the door carefully, then circled the car to get to the steering wheel. Car moving.
“It seems, tomorrow you do not need to shuttle again, Shila.”
The chat opener provoked the eyes of the busy woman on the tablet screen.
“First, you are burdened because you have to go home outside your schedule. Second, I usually go home late because I have to take care of some problems. For example, talking to some students who happen to be busy during the day. So ...”
Shilla lowered her oval glasses that were originally perched on her perfectly pointed nose. Put the 5 million thing in the box, before landing on his Dior bag.
“First,” Shila replied with her graceful voice that somehow felt choking Chandra. “I'm not burdened at all. I went to the office just to observe, not work like someone else. So ... relax. Second, I never ask you to hurry, anyway.”
I never asked you to hurry.
Chandra lowered the volume of his tongue as a result of his wife's answer. Luckily, Shila was still busy with the iPad in her hand so that she did not care about her husband's expression.
Shila never asked to rush, but she would instantly satirize as sharply as she did when someone else made her wait more than 10 minutes.
“Om Ergan wants to hold an event next week. You coming?”
Shila, who was still lowered, issued a question that Chandra caught instead in the form of orders. Just like before. The way this woman speaks should seek approval, but when someone rejects her, she will go on a rampage.
So, just give it up.
“Bby. I'm also free next week,” replied Chandra.
“Okey.” Shila left the data on her iPad screen, moved to a messaging app to tell one of her trusted subordinates who would make the event.
“You want to eat something? I've ordered your favorite roasted chicken seasoning. But, manor would you like to eat something?” ask Shila, again.
“Ngak. It's enough.” Chandra answered as he could, and wanted to end the conversation immediately by looking outside.
Tens of minutes later, until they were in front of the gate of the house, when the car was about to turn, whispers of neighbors from the house next door rang out. Shila, who at first almost never left the iPad screen, was quite disturbed by the insinuations of three mothers who were in front of Shila's house.
“Poor, yes, Mr Chandra? I took care of his crazy wife, was made babu again.”
Not only was Shila offended by the remark, Chandra also panicked. Do not let, this woman even vent her frustration on Chandra when entering the house later.
“Stop a moment, Anwar!” pinta Shila, regardless if the position of the car was cutting the road, and several two-wheeled vehicles several times passed through them. “Later for you please, record how many houses in this complex. Strike whoever it is, so that all .. houses in this complex can I buy! I'm allergic to the weightless gossip of stupid humans who go to school just to get a diploma paper.”
Meanwhile, the welcome from the neighbors is increasing. Chandra is confused about what to do, because persuading his wife in this heat is like suicide. However, letting them continue to fight each other satire, can even have a bad impact on him later.
“Pak Anwar, please hurry in, yes! I'm hungry!” So, this is the path chosen by Chandra in order to reduce the problem later.
The car immediately entered the yard of the house, until it arrived in front of the terrace. Chandra goes down first, signaling Anwar not to open the door for his wife. He took the initiative to treat Shila sweeter now. After the wife got off, and stepped about to enter the house, Chandra gestured the driver to the garage as quickly as possible, and did not approach the house before it was safe.
His wife is going to explode.
Evidently from how this woman clenched her hands tightly as if grasping a time bomb, which when open, was all gone.
And, happening. Right after Chandra's door closes back up. Before the man turned around, the sound of objects falling down from one of the corner tables of the room rang out loud. Not enough, Shila growled like a tiger in a row. He was cursing with all the harsh words he learned from his parents. Approaching every item that was originally neat, for he slammed hard on the floor as an emotion that the woman tried to throw away.
Chandra could only silently freeze near the door, watching the woman continue to let out her frustration, at least until her strength drained away. Then, Chandra can move forward. It took at least nearly an hour, until Shila was sitting limp and head bowed in a corner of the room. His blank gaze led to a white tile, with eyes that continued to glaze over, but nothing managed to fall off.
Starting with a deep breath, then exhaled slowly, Chandra ventured to approach his wife. Not saying anything, or giving any response, other than kneeling down to make it easier for her to hug Shila.
Chandra feels the fragility of this woman, as he first knew her in one of the parks after getting ridiculed by a madman from everyone who came across Shila.
This woman is fragile, who is trying to hide Shila with all her fierceness and coldness.
This woman is fragile, who just found a piece of wood to support her, and then Chandra broke it yesterday.
This woman is very fragile, and Chandra almost forgot her feelings because she was too busy with school affairs— which is especially for the special student.
Despite that sombreness, Shila may be the strongest woman Chandra has ever met. Even if. However, no one would ever find this woman complaining about her life. I will not hear this woman ever scold God for her destiny.
Shila accepted it, though with both weak hands that were always trembling uncontrollably.
Chandra can't give a hand to this financially perfect woman, except for a hug. Because, Shila barely ever felt it from anyone else.
And so, Chandra let his minutes pass by with his wife in a trap. Allowing her stomach to sound hungry, in order to melt all of Shila's anger. Patting Shila on the back, hoping that she would understand, Chandra would always be beside her.
Yesterday, she got lost to her students.
