"Tell me again, baby."
Dara became afraid now after hearing the words of her husband who seemed cold. "May I practice shootouts with Garvin?"
Sean's fingers are clenched strong. "No." Sean replied coldly.
Dara looked at her husband's face with pleading. "Please. Let me be Sean. I want to be like you. I want us to be a couple who protect each other. I want us to be a tough couple, who can't be separated." Dara looked at her husband's face.
" Without you shooting practice, we'll never be apart." Sean replied with a cold voice. Sean's gaze was just straight ahead. Not looking at his wife at all. His jaw even started tightening now.
Dara was a little stunned by her husband's words earlier. "I understand that the Mafia world is scary and even scary. But I beg you, let me take part in shooting practice. I really want shooting practice. Not without reason. I really want to be able to protect myself. I'm your wife Sean. I'm the wife of a Mafia boss. So, I don't want to be underestimated or perceived as weak by your enemies or by others. I don't want it because of me, because of my mistakes later, I could risk your life. Didn't you ever say that there are a lot of people out there who are after your death? Many want your death." Dara stopped her words. Then her eyes moved to look at her husband's face with a meaningful look. Slowly her hands lifted and cupped her husband's face in love. "Look at me, baby." Lirih Dara's.
Sean looked directly at his wife's face. Both of his eyeballs were instantly locked with both of his wife's eyeballs.
"I don't want to be made a weapon of hospitality by your enemy Sean. I don't want them to defeat you by making me his prisoner. Or maybe even make me the bait of your weakness. And I don't want to be used as a tool to attack your weak point." Said Dara with both eyeballs that began to water. "You know Sean if I like to read novels. From the novel as well I can learn if the danger can come at any time. It can come from any direction without us guessing. I love reading dark romance novels. I read a novel about Mafia love. The book is called My Possessive Husband. The novel is very good. I even got dragged into the world of the novel. It was as if I was the main character of the novel. But, there were still some people who commented negatively about the novel. Even though from the novel we can learn and reap the positive things from every event and problem that exists. If I could meet people who like to comment negatively on the novel, I would love to say to them, would they be able to make a novel like the author of My Possessive Husband? And if they want to criticise, they should be positive and constructive. Not even dropping it like that. They should also give advice. Sometimes I feel sad when I read their comments. Do they not think if from their negative comments, can make the author sad? Even though the author has worked hard to make each part. Did they not have a little pity for the author? At least they should appreciate it too. Not even dropping it with their scathing comments. Not because the author is not ready for criticism, but the author is also a woman who has a sensitive side like them." Dara said at length while Sean just listened to her carefully.
Waita minute. Why is Dara talking to her husband now?
Sean raised one of his eyebrows. "Keep dear?"
Dara nodded slowly. "Forget what I said hubby. So, can I practice shooting with Garvin?"
Sean's fingers are clenched strong. "Why go with Garvin? Why not with the others? Or maybe practice with me." Sean said, looking at his wife's face. Slowly his thumb wiped his wife's tears.
Dara nodded slowly. "Daddy Elden offered me shooting practice with Garvin. So I think that's a good idea. I can study for a short time."
"Garvin won't have time to teach you. He is a busy man. He is also a dangerous man. I don't want him to hurt you."
"But, Garvin's your brother Sean. Daddy suggested it to me too. Surely Daddy has calculated it clearly and maturely."
"He's not my brother." Sean replied coldly. After that, Sean immediately got up by lowering his wife's body onto the bed.
Dara was surprised by what her husband said. "Sister-in-law? So you're not siblings?" Even now his eyes were perfectly rounded.
Then, Dara immediately frowned and pursed her lips. "If Hubby's training me, it's not shooting but shooting another one."
Sean laughed crisply. "Since when can my wife think that far, hm?"
Then, Dara immediately rose from her seat and stood face to face with her husband. Remind Dara that Dara is now bare-chested like her husband. Only, Dara now only uses buste houder (bra or Bh).
"Let me hubby. If I practice shooting with Garvin, at least it won't harm me. He is also not a stranger. He's part of your family. So, Garvin belongs to my family too."
Sean breathed slowly. "I'll think about it." Sean said, turning his face away.
A smile on Dara's tiny lips. "Thank hubby. You are the best." She hugged her husband's body tightly. Sean must again and again curse in his heart when he feels the warm touch of his wife's body.
"Everything dear." He rubbed it with the back of his wife. Damnit damnit! His wife's back was soft.
Then, not long after, Dara immediately took off her embrace. "I want to ask for one more thing too."
Sean's forehead wrinkled. "What's that?"
"Give me the freedom to get out of the Mansion."
